Hi Josue. Please disregard my last comment. I just made a few CSS changes and now the field and button is aligning properly.
You can close this topic. Thanks for all your help. :)
Hi Josue. Thanks for the help. That certainly worked fine. :)
One additional question, is there something within the framework that re-formats the positioning of the elements. For example, the form code is configured to show the submit button next to the email field. However, on the page, it shows the submit button under the field. It seems to show correctly in a simple html file. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Many thanks Josue. I have the same question. Can we set this in css only or does it have to also be in the html files?
It would also be cool to display the logo image only when the menu shrinks. Otherwise, show the regular logo name.
Thanks Dude. That did the trick. Works fine now. Regards, Joe
Hi Dude. I followed your directions, but the problem is that the left side is not flush and there is a gap. Right side looks full width. Looks fine on preview, but not when you place it in a page. See attached screen shot. http://snag.gy/UHt5f.jpg
Thanks Dude. Problem solved. I used your URL and dropped the / between page and tab name (http://www.company.com/practices#practice-area). Regards, Joe
Hi Devin. That does not appear to work. For example, if I select a tab, I get the following URL, http://www.company.com/practices/#practice-area
If I use that URL in a footer widget link without the # sign, the screen shows page not found. If I include the # sign, the URL works, but the tab structure is gone. Hope this makes sense. Before the friendly URL tab name, using #tab-id seem to work fine. Thanks.
How about a Testimonial Slider like the one that is used in the Salient theme. That one is very nice in that it provides a slider that can be used on a color section background. I have a need to display quotes and author and not a picture. Thanks.
It would be nice if there was some additional flexibility in choosing the Font, Font Family, Weight, Size, etc, for the various headings. For example, I would like to set my H1 font to use a certain font size and weight. Same for H2, H3, body, etc. Some themes have this as part of the Admin area. Sure, it could be done in the css file, but seems like it should be part of the theme settings. It would be nice to be able to select different font styles for certain elements, like the new Content Slider. How about a new element that let’s you set text to any font and any style. Thanks.
Hi Devin. Please disregard. I changed the css to the following, “.page-id-20 #home.avia-builder-el-12 …” for each page.
Adding the avia-builder-el-12 for each section appears to have taken care of the issue. Thanks!
Thanks Devin. I have tried at least 5 premium plugins and all of the have the same issue. As a matter of fact, I haven’t found one plugin yet that seems to work correctly within the Advanced Editor. I really hope that the team will continue to look into this. It’s only natural to supplement the theme with plugins that solve a certain request from the client. Regards!
Thanks Devin. How do we get the latest version of Layer Slider, if it’s not included? There were many improvements in the 4.6 release.
Hi Devin. What about the Layer Slider upgrade to 4.6? Thanks.
Hello. Does the new 1.9 update include the latest version of Layer Slider? I believe Layer Slider is now up to version 4.6. Thanks!
Hello. Is there an ETA on the update? I would have expected most of these issues to be sorted out by now, since the WP 3.6 release candidates have been out for some time now. If you could give us a date, it would sure help us with our planning. Thanks!
Can you please consider adding an Author Block as a builder element. Would be nice to be able to add an Author Block to a Blog post or have it added to all posts. Hope the masonry layout will make it further up on the list for Blog and possibly Portfolio. Thanks.
Please consider adding some logic regarding the wpautop filter, so we can use plugins like showbizpro in the layout editor. Here is the reference issue for more info, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/issue-with-showbiz-plugin-in-advance-editor. I have other premium plugins that I assume will have the same issue. Thanks!
Thanks Devin. I was looking at the full change log and must have gotten confused. You can remove this thread.
Please provide a fix for adding in a custom tab names, for displaying in the URL, instead of the default #tab-id-x. This is problematic for SEO and not very user friendly when sending out page links. This is a real issue for our site, which uses the left side tab view. Thanks.
I’m still a bit confused on this issue. I need to show the sidebar, only for a specific page. I don’t want to show all sidebars, like the media query example above. Is there a page ID or sidebar ID that I can add to the css for only showing the sidebar for a certain page on mobile? Thanks.
I have to totally agree with DigitalMedia. The blog styling could really use some improvements. Probably the only area in theme that I’m not crazy about. Perhaps the upcoming magazine style will help and possibly masonry style. And it would be nice to have an author block. Not sure why this isn’t included.
Outside of that, my only dislike in the theme is the lack of Load More function for portfolio and blog. This is so required in modern themes and should be provided as an option, instead of pagination. This really affects sorting in a portfolio. Hope this will be considered. Thanks.
Add the ability to change the URL that uses #tab-id. Using the #tab-id in the URL is not user friendly or SEO friendly for that matter. Please consider an option to the tab element where we can add our own tab name? This is a show-stopper for us as the tab-id does not identify the actual content of the page, especially for SEO. Thanks.
Hi Dude. I actually had the same question. Is there anyway around this issue? Using the #tab-id is not user friendly or seo friendly for that matter.
Can you please tag Kriesi to see if there is a way to add another option to the tab element where we can add our own tab name? Thanks!
Thanks Dude. I have purchased this plugin and would really like to use it within this theme. But I just can’t afford to have anything break at this point. I really appreciate if you can reach out to Kriesi on this. I’m sure this will be the case with other plugins also. Regards.
Hi Dude. I was also considering using this plugin. With your fix above, won’t this affect other pages that are being created? Seems like there should be a better fix that doesn’t break new and/or existing pages that use the layout builder. Thanks!
Hi Dude / Ismael. The button that is used for the Full Screen Slider called “Light Transparent” style is not available from the short-code generator nor is it available from the button short-code.
Is there any way that we can apply the “Light Transparent” button style to the LayerSlider and also as a shortcode to other areas, like inside text block? If you could provide an example, that would be great. My other suggestion would be to have Kriesi include it as a button shortcode. Thanks.
Hi Ismael. Awesome. Words Perfect! Thanks as always for your help. :)
Can you please add support for the Nextgen plugin? Organizing the web site images using the default WP date is horrible. Being able to use custom folders would be great and even better if Enfold provided some integration points with NextGen. Thanks.
For the masonry blog offset layout, can you please consider some flexibility in the image sizes. Would be great to display different size landscape and portrait images. Would also be nice if each post had box-shadow option (like pinterest), kind of like the portfolio items. Current grid layout looks plain and not really like a magazine style. Thanks!
Hi Ismael.
Can you please re-post the code for the loop-index.php.
I apparently over-wrote the changes when I upgraded. Looks like the pastebin link as expired.
Thanks!
