Hi yardena,
No, the mega menu structure is such that only a top level menu item can be the main mega menu parent. So anything inside of it needs to be within a column or a column header.

May 2, 2013 at 5:20 pm in reply to: Large space between columns on page built by the builder #116579Hi yardena,
It looks like you have your content in this format:
1/3 2/3
1/3 1/3 1/3
So the content below (the 3 1/3 columns) takes up the full width of the area because its 3*1/3 .

Hi Spiv,
Using the wordpress export tool should save everything (its the same way the theme dummy data is imported). As far as I know everything is still saved in the options table.

As far as I know, no there is no way to edit the templates.
Hi andreano,
Try using this plugin to regenerate your thumbnails and see if that fixes the issue: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Hi jaypopsu,
I’m not getting that effect at all when viewing those pages. Is it happening in a specific browser or OS?

Hi Alex,
For the color section, you could try using an horizontal ruler element and setting it to Whitespace and a custom height you want.
The slider issue is a bit more complex. We would need to see it live to see whats going on and then possibly do some custom css tweaks if the built in elements can’t provide a solution.

Hi bwsm,
I’m not clear on where that screenshot is coming from or what you mean. Can you give us a bit more context?

May 2, 2013 at 2:41 pm in reply to: Header: How to make it NOT resize smaller when scrolling. #116933Hi zOrg,
In the theme options go to the Header section. The Header Type dropdown allows you to choose from Fixed (the sticky header) or the regular header which is what you want. It also has multiple styles to choose from with those variations as well.

Hi Andreano,
I believe this has actually be requested in the Enfold feature request topic already so it will be up to Kriesi on implementing it or not (an option to disable the icons).

Hi Angelo,
Strange that they would say that. Its a very very common issue with wordpress and adding in your own javascript snippets. The mailchimp script needs to be enclosed in a no-conflict wrapper.
Did you add in the javascript for the pop up to your header.php or was it done with a plugin? There are a number of solutions for this but all are addressed here in the wordpress codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script#jQuery_noConflict_Wrappers

Glad we could help :)
Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

Hi Topher,
Try updating the theme files to the most recent version available from your downloads on Themeforest. Kriesi has been releasing bug fixes pretty rapidly and I want to make sure this isn’t something that was already fixed in 1.3 (you are currently on 1.2).
Regards,
Devin
Hey Scott,
First thing is re-download the theme files as 1.3.1 had a specific fix for blank pages. Second, if that doesn’t fix it, the issue can be fixed with a bit of css. Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#top.avia-blank #main {
display: initial;

Devin
Hi creativestream,
I know typically there are issues stacking shortcodes into each other though there have been a lot of specific changes with Enfold to allow for them we’ll need Kriesi to take a look and see if its possible in this instance and if so, if he can update the theme to allow for it.

May 2, 2013 at 1:40 pm in reply to: Making the Responsive Dropdown Menu Appear at Larger Resolutions #116639You would need to use a media query and customize the css for the header section. See: http://css-tricks.com/css-media-queries/
The biggest issue would be re-styling the header to fit the change and just making sure it stays cross browser compatible. If we can take a look at the site we can see what we can assist with via css to get you started.

Devin
Hi Spiv,
You should be able to set that on the specific page the blog loads into. So whatever page you’ve designated to show the blog, you can set it there.

Hi jawes,
Try the css change that Nick posted here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/mega-menu-bug#post-108100

Hi dweb,
If you made a custom post type, then you can define the sidebar specifically in the single-$posttype.php file for that post type within the theme files. You would also need to register the sidebar manually to make sure there are no issues with it being access via php and get_sidebar:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_sidebar

Devin
Hi All,
I’m getting similar issues as well though its a bit hard to tell on an ipad. I’ve tagged Kriesi on the topic as there are a few issues with the widescreen layout that he is working on at the moment as well.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Nicolas,
No there is not. Enfold is a completely new framework and system that Kriesi has been working on over the past few months. So while things have the same Kriesi style and feel to them, its all very different behind the scenes.

Devin
Hi Michael,
Which slide and slideshow are you trying to effect specifically? If you can point it out directly we can both bug test it and provide the correct direction :)
Regards,
Devin
Hi jeffcrain,
Can you take a screenshot of the settings for each and provide a link so we can take a look and try to re-create the same issue?
Regards,
Devin
Hi Pappasdg,
If you have any active plugins first try disabling them. Also make sure you are using the most recent version of the theme files (I believe its 1.3 right now on Themeforest) so that you have the latest bug fixes installed.

Devin
May 2, 2013 at 12:52 pm in reply to: Everything messed up in IE8 (even more so in Compatibility View) #116978Hi DavyE,
Not sure what you mean. Testing with IE8 on Windows 7 here as well and the demo as well as my test installs display mostly normal. There are a few visual differences and even a few bugs but nothing like you are describing.
I’m not really sure how the discrepancy is so large though.
Regards,
Devin
Hey Matt,
It’ll take a bit of time to find the exact cause of some of these sometimes-happens-sometimes-not bugs so if you do find a specific way to re-create it let us know so we can dig into it a bit further :)
Regards,
Devin
Hey lounge35,
Thanks for the tip. I’ll try and re-create it following those steps and see if I can get a specific set of steps to cause it to always happen then see if we can find a fix at that point.
Regards,
Devin
Hey silviouk,
Glad it was a simple fix and Ismael could point you in the right direction :)

Hi master-t,
I’m not sure if 1.4 is going to be a big update for WooCommerce or another round of feature additions. Either way we don’t have an ETA on it at this point.

Devin
May 1, 2013 at 2:02 pm in reply to: Formatting in layerslider looks way different in site output #116336Hi jwferne,
Can you give an example or screenshot showing your settings and how they are not displaying correctly?
Even a quick screencast using http://www.screenr.com/ would help illustrate exactly whats going on so we can address it :)
Regards,
Devin
