Hi,

You will lose all customisation that you put in the theme core files on updates, so I would recommend that you add a child theme.

If your theme settings are not applying when activating the child, then you can import the parent theme settings under Enfold->Import/Export. Also remember to deactivate file compression and activate the options to delete old CSS and JS files under Enfold->Performance if your styling/settings should not apply.

The theme is not serving what is on your server, it’s the other way around. We can’t do anything about slow server response times unfortunately.

Your test states this:

Root document took 10.7s

That is the time it takes for the server to even begin to transfer data.

If you should need further help, then please share server error logs with us.

That is very likely not caused by Enfold, you might want to reach out to your hosting provider if the that error message should persist after you have updated to the latest version of the theme.
