Please try adding the code via FTP. You can find functions.php file inside /wp-content/themes/enfold/ folder and add the code to the bottom of the file

File would be overwritten in each update so please consider using a child theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ and add the code to functions.php file of child theme instead.

In case it is missing, there is a chance you are using an older version of the theme. If that happens to be the case, please firstly update Enfold to the latest version 4.7.4 – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ :)

I am afraid the only way to get full support and theme updates is by having access to a ThemeForest account which was used to purchase the theme.

The easiest way would be to get in touch with your developer and ask him for the purchase code and an API key. That would allow you to create a forum account here (one that got access to more than the pre-sale question area) and would also allow you to update the theme from your backend.

If you cant get in touch with your developer for whatever reason, you can also try to contact Envato support and ask them if its possible for them to credit the purchase to a ThemeForest account of your own: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
However this will probably only work if your developer already sent you a payment receipt or something similar for the purchase.

Last option would be to create a ThemeForest account of your own and use it to re-purchase the theme.

I hope one of the first two options works out for you, but unfortunately we can’t help until we have a valid verification that the theme was purchased properly. This is necessary for us, since there are quite a few people out there who don’t buy the theme on themeforest and instead download it for free on illegal file sharing sites and then even have the audacity to ask us for support.

I am not really sure if i understood your question clearly. If you would like to add images to your page and link them to external URLs you can easily do so in Image element options. You can also adjust links on portfolio elements by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-grid/#open-external-links-when-a-portfolio-image-is-clicked.

If that does not help, please elaborate so we can give you more accurate answer :)

Without seeing the issues, we cannot really answer your question. If you started having issues after updating WordPress or the plugin, updating the theme might help.

Please ask your friend who purchased the license for you to update Enfold to the latest version. If you are no longer in touch, you can create your own ThemeForest account and purchase your own license – https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990.

You are currently using a very old version of Enfold, 3.6.1 which is not compatible with your PHP and WordPress versions. Updating Enfold to the latest version 4.7.4 would solve the issue.

In case you are not able to get in touch with your previous developers and do not have access to theme files, we would recommend you to create your own ThemeForest account and purchase a license – https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990. Then you can simply download the latest version of the theme and update via FTP – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp.

Then you can also generate a Personal Token on your Envato account – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert it in Enfold theme options and receive update notifications in your dashboard and update the theme from backend :)
