Do you have a Gravity Forms shortcode somewhere in your content, for example in the footer? If so, then what happens if you remove it? You might want to consider downgrading to PHP 8.0 or 8.1 for now.

The update to 5.4 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for the update. There are no solutions like that available in the theme by default like I mentioned above unfortunately, so you would have to use third party plugins or code in order to implement the functionality you are looking for. I don’t really have anything to recommend though, so I guess you would have to try different solutions out to see what works and what doesn’t.

You are stating exactly what I said earlier; it’s a server problem:

“Safari cannot connect to the server”
“Safari cannot open the page because the server hosting the page is not responding”

A theme installed on WordPress is not a server, the server is the machine which your WordPress installation lives on. If that stops responding, then it doesn’t matter what is on your site, it will still not be served to the user, where ever the user might be located, or which ISP they might be using.’

Despite this, it was not possible to install the theme cleanly from WP.

What exactly do you mean by this? Did you get any error messages? If so, then please try to specify them here.

If you should need further help, then please share server error logs with us.
