I have just started getting this error after upgrading to the very latest version of the theme. I googled the error, and it sent me to this page, and it is the same Portfolio feeds that google it can’t find, and produces the 404 error. Disabling plugins also doesn’t fix it..

Your problem sounds identical to mine at https://kriesi.at/support/topic/contact-form-keeps-resetting-itself/
Also check if you are using cloudflare, as some of it’s setting will affect layerslider.
After a lot of fiddling, and reading an old post from someone back in october, I worked out that if I disable Rocket Loader™ (Web optimization) in cloudflare, this fixes the problem with layerslider. But god knows why this broke it after the update.

November 25, 2014 at 7:44 am in reply to: Contact Form, Google Map and Fullwidth Easy Slider Not Working #357391You need to upgrade to enfold 3.04
Are you referring to LayerSlider?
Have you updated to the latest version of the enfold theme, which is 3.04? I have and am having the same problem as per https://kriesi.at/support/topic/layerslider-not-working-after-enfold-3-04-update/ Have you tried it in Internet explorer, firefox and chrome. I have found it works in IE, but not in firefox or chrome.

Just adding text so I can tick the box so that I get emailed replies.
Same here, it mucks up some of the formating. I did a enfold automatic update at the same time from inside wordpress, and thought that was the cause, but glad I came across your post. Disabling Yoasts SEO plugin fixed it. I did note that when teh SEO plugin was updated, it did say something along the lines of we noticed your custom.css and changed it.
Black Studio TinyMCE Widget
I haven’t had the 1st problem. The second one is what wordpress does., it automatically adds that code. The third one is a problem that I hoped would be fixed in 1.5, but wasn’t. It is annoying, but pressing the update button after each time a text block is updated fixes it for me. If you go from one text block to another is then that problem occurs for me.
Have just tried it again with version 1.5 and it is still occurring with the latest version in chrome. Although this time the background goes to black on transition. You can view it on the homepage in the woodgrain at the bottom of the page. I am using chrome Version 27.0.1453.94 which is the latest version
This is what I do. First make sure you download your website and backup the database, just incase. Then delete the current enfold theme on the server, and upload the new one via ftp. That’s it.
Use use CSS to set the tag of the date to , display: none; to hide it.
I think it will be related to the cache plugin, as I think that inserts code into the sites config files or the ,htaccess file. I don’t use those plugins myself, as I find they cause too many problems.
I have always had this problem after editing a text block for a second or thrid time, prior to publishing/saving the page. I have tried disabling all plugins in the past too, but it didn’t help. Am just using a stock wordpress install on a cpanel host. However publishing the page then fixes it. But it will often reoccur after editing a text box again for the second or third time. I don’t think it happens as often in version 1.4, as it did in 1.3. Just tested it again, and it happned on the hird edit of a text box, prior to the page being saved/published.
Yes, I get the same thing on your site. I mentioned it in another thread. I have got mine set to the narrower format until the issue is fixed in a theme update.
Have you tried using transparent and semi transparent PNGs for the text instead? This is what I did. There are work arounds. I have been using Layerslider for over a year on different sites, and it is ok. Never tried revolution, but there are pros and cons with all of them.
I think the layerslider is a bit buggy, as some things such as scale don’t work properly on the live site, yet works in the preview. I don’t blame the enfold theme for this as it is a third party plugin. Just have to live with it’s buggyness until they fix it.
It should have a 32MB limit. I would suggest using another host if you are having problems uploading it, and the host isn’t helping. I didn’t have any problems uploading it.
Thank Nick. Yes that does fix it from turning white on the slider transition, but it does mean I lose the parallax effect on the background, where the background moves independent from the front content. But I guess that is a small thing if it is only the homepage
Thanks
That’s good, but each time the template is updated, you have to re-edit that file again on the new version. Would be better if there was a setting in the theme.
I have got the live site at http://goo.gl/w3DRO You can see the problem if you scroll down to the bottom of the homepage in chrome, and look at the woodgrain background.
It occurs on the homepage, when Fullwidth Easy Slider, normal settings with multiple sliders
These are the settings for the colour section that I added, that is having the problem. The background in the coloured section disappears an and turns white, and then reappears when the flexislider transitions to the next slide.
Color Section:
Section Colors: main content
Custom Background Image: yes
Background Image Position: repeat
Background Repeat: Repeat
Background Attachment: Fixed
Section Padding: Default
Section Top Shadow: Display Shadow
You do it in the CSS.
Google woocomerce, its a wordpress plugin
I reported this bug on another thread, so they are aware of it.
I think it may need to be connected to the domain to work.
I think it is the wordpress code that does that, as it will modify the code.
My install is not online. But I did fix it by going back to the 1030px version in the enfold settings page. As 1210px is new, and not on the demo version I presume it is a bug in the CSS somewhere when the screen is wider than the 1210 width.
I too have the problem with number 3, and tested it with all plugins disabled. It only seems to happen when I have done quite a bit of editiing on the page (eg opening and closing a few test editing boxes) prior to republishing. Once I encounter the problem, I press publish, and go back to editing, and the WYSIWYG editor works again fine.
