I copied the updated header.php from the enfold folder and the helper-main-menu.php from the enfold>includes folder to the enfold-child folder.
I was able to open and close with the “X” in the upper right-hand corner.

Which files need to be added or replaced in the enfold-child folder with each update?

Thank you for looking at this.

With the login credentials provided in the private data you could have tried that and found it made no difference.
I deactivated all plugins, cleared the server cache 5 times, cleared the browser cache, but the problem persists.

Can you please help?
Can you please test the solution on a computer, Ipad and iPhone?

The custom css Ismael provided above fixed the issue.
But, is there still a Custom Background Image bug with Enfold 4.3.1?
Without the custom css the Custom Background Image that previews fine in General Styling in Enfold 4.3.1, the Custom Background Image will not display.

Thank you for looking at this and your effort.
The url in the Custom Background Image (see Private Content below) previews fine in Enfold 4.3.
I pasted the same url into a new browser window and it loads fine.

Your css fix has a different url than the one that previews fine and loads fine in a new browser window.
Your url will not load in a new browser window.

There seems to be a bug with Enfold 4.3.
Others seem to be having the same or similar issue – see link below.
Can you please look at this and reply?

Thank you for looking at this.
I followed your 3 steps above, removing my logo and custom background.

I was able to see the Enfold default logo, but it was on a white background.
With all the plugins deactivated and the server cache cleared 5 times, I put back my logo and my custom background.
I still ‘see’ my white transparent logo when I put my cursor about 1 inch above the word Home on the menu bar (Chrome and Firefox show the url in the bottom left hand corner).
But, I still cannot see my custom background – it is still just a white background.

General Styling is showing a preview of my custom background.
Is there a conflict in my Quick CSS or my Enfold Child style.css file?
Can you please look at it with all the plugin still deactivated?
Can you please test the solution on a computer, Ipad and iPhone?
My live site running Enfold 4.26 shows how it should look – Please see Private Data below.

Hi,

You are right – the thin blue line is actually on my header background image – my mistake.
I updated both the both the header.php and includes/helper-main-menu.php files on my child theme.
I now have the mobile menu and the mobile magnify glass in the header!
But, now I have a few small items:
1. The white mobile magnify glass blends into the header background image. How can I turn the color grey like the mobile menu?
2. The mobile header is all distorted compared to the original:

The distortion removes the phone number and is only showing a portion of the mobile header background image. How can I make it look like the original, but also keep the great mobile magnify glass?

Hi,
I replaced the child theme header.php and now have the mobile menu and mobile search magnify glass!
But:
1. the mobile menu has a thin blue line above it and is beneath the header and inside the LayerSlider instead of on inside of the header on the right.
2. the mobile search magnify glass has a thin blue line above it.

Can you please help me get the mobile menu and mobile magnify glass in the header without the blue lines?
Can you please test your suggestion on desktop, iPad and iPhone so all render correctly?

I have seen Moderator Yigit recommend this Quick CSS to others for Enfold 4.1.2 with the same problem, but it does not display the mobile menu and magnify glass correctly on my website on mobile devices:
