    I have the latest Enfold version which includes an outdated LayerSlider that results in an annoying red notification on the sidebar indicating a plugin needs updating even though it can’t be updated. This is something that will happen 99% of the time because LayerSlider updates don’t coincide with Enfold updates.

    How can this be remedied?

    Hi,

    The version of LayerSlider included in the theme is bundled, that is why it’s not updated individually. If you want to update yourself then you will have to buy the standalone version of the plugin.

    So, your solution is to pay for a plugin that I’ve already paid for when buying this bundle. Interesting.

    Is there not a way to silence the notification? Seems like something you would do in the core theme since you know it can’t be updated and will almost always be displaying the notification.

    Hi,

    You can try this plugin in order to clear WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/

    @Rikard

    Can you simply please include the updated LayerSlider version with each Enfold release?
    At least users will not fall too far behind between Enfold releases.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    We always include the latest version at the time of development.

    You are welcome.
