    Hi – I installed the plugin to upload the 4.5 enfold.zip file and it installed. Now I cant access the website at all ! I’m not a programmer and not sure how to restore the site. I have a envato token for the theme but cant access the site through logging in to the admin. I do have FTP access. an someone help me please… what I didn’t do was remove the original enfold file. Maybe I could do that via FTP and manually upload the 4.5 ?

    This isn’t working for me. I tried re downloading it, using the install version only and still all i get is time has expired. I need help with this problem

    Hi Victoria – I have gotten into a mess updating the theme for http://www.crolinnhe.co.uk – this morning I renamed the theme folder and this has allowed me to access wp admin pages. I am deleting the theme “enfold”. Does the latest enfold theme require a specific version of WP ? How should I proceed ? I have an envato token for the theme

    I’ve the same problems as ‘cagraphicdesign’ >>(Hi Yigit
    I installed the plugin, then went to my envato account and downloaded the enfold theme, but when I try to upload it I am getting this message:
    The link you followed has expired. I tried several time. I tried two ways
    1. I downloaded just the the theme (themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip)
    2. I tried again this time downloading “all files and documentation”, unzipped it and tried uploading just “enfold.zip”)<<
    Now I get the message ‘destination folder exist already. /home/public/sites/www.corlap.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/

    Can you assist me to install.

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    Please login to your FTP account provided by your hosting company and browse to wp-content/themes/ and delete the “enfold” folder before trying to upload from the dashboard again :)

    Seems impossible here to find how to start a new topic. But related to the latest update, seems froogaloop is still included although it has been legacy for some time now (vimeo has introduced a new embed js). Why is it still here. It is actually causing some issues for me.

    Hi,
    I recently purchased Enfold Theme Version Number is 4.5.3. Need to create a couple of simple sliders, but LayerSlider doesn’t work at all.
    Sliders are not visible on the page. Also, changes can’t be saved.

    hello i buy the lastest version of enfold (4.5) because i want update from the version 4.2.6. I have not child theme. I’d try to sostitute the enfold folder via FTP but nothing. I also try to upload the theme with the wordpress panel but nothing. How i can upload version from 4.2 to 4.5????

    Angular theme is no longer in production. You can read more about it here – https://kriesi.at/archives/wordpress-5-0-and-enfold-4-5-1

    If you could start a new thread under Angular sub forum, we can share the latest version of the theme with you however it is not tested with the latest version and might not be compatible as well.

    Hello I bought Enfold in 2017 and installed it on my site creating the child. I’ve never had any problems and I’ve always done updates. About twenty days ago I updated the latest version but I have a lot of problems with the token that I can’t validate and therefore I am not up to date with the license and this is definitely a problem for the security of the site. I have read all the guides and all the support on Envado but I can’t solve the problem. Thanks Giovanna Italy

    Hi SeoEtica,

    Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version 4.4.1 and below, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.

    Just a quick question. Will I lose all my customisation with the manual update, including CSS styling and Quick CSS? I am using Enfold 4.2.6 (no child theme).

    You should not lose any of your settings, but please keep backups of the site in case something should go wrong.

    I have followed your instructions but I receive an error note saying: Destination folder already exists. /home/p4tlpu4k5l5o/public_html/andrewremillard.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/

    Theme installation failed.

    What do I need to do?

    I missed the big recent update and my site is now impossible to to update.

    I installed your pluggin “adapter” so I could upload the updated theme. That was successful.
    I installed the updated theme. That was successful.

    NOW MY SITE IS DOWN COMPLETELY!!

    HELP!!

    Please try to delete the theme folder completely, then upload the new version of the theme after that.

    I can´t update.
    Currently using Enfold Version: 4.4.1 and just bought the Version 4.5.6 (from 2019 April 18th) from themeforest.

    I get the message:
    Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen: Download fehlgeschlagen. Es wurde keine gültige URL übermittelt.

    I also generated a new API key. More info in the private content section.

    Hi Peter Panflöte

    The Enfold update from 4.4.1 to 4.5.x is not possible via the dashboard (due to some API changes from Envato some time ago).
    I suggest you update via FTP. Please follow the instructions I wrote down in this thread.

    Unfortunately I can’t see the private info section as I am just a participant like you.
