    Some times I don’t understand moderators and the knowledge that they have. Sorry for this comment but is true, a lot of times your solutions aren’t the good ones or simply no solution for some simple think. Maybe your support team isn’t telling you the good answers.

    The javascript solution isn’t a good one because “nofollow” is just to tell google that the link doesn’t need to follow and index and google bot knows when some attributes are added via javascript and drop a little bit in search points because isn’t good practice.

    Enfold have ‘nofollow’ for button links by default, but is deactivated. You only need to add:

    
add_theme_support('avia_rel_nofollow_for_links');

    to functions.php and the option appear in Open Link in new Window? selector.

    A little bit of deep code navigation in av_button shortcode file shows me the solution.

    Sorry for the late reply, I tried to research your past threads and found a login that works and found that your theme version should be updated to v4.5.7
    This will need to be done manually via ftp, please try to follow these steps:

    First download the theme from Theme Forest.
    Then open it and extract the “enfold.zip” file and then extract it to your desktop as /enfold/
    Then rename to /enfold-new/ and upload the folder to your /wp-content/themes/ folder via FTP or your file manager in your webhost cPanel
    Then via FTP or your cPanel file manager, at /wp-content/themes/ rename /enfold/ to /enfold-old/ and rename /enfold-new/ to /enfold/

    Now your new version is installed, please check your site. If all is well then “Good Job!” If not then reverse the last rename step above and your site will be restored.

    I also see that your plugin “Dev4Press Updater” is giving errors, so please try disabling this plugin, actually I see that you have 52 plugins that need to be updated, I recommend disabling all of your plugins and update your theme, then clear your browser cache and check your site. Then activate your plugins one at a time to find the ones causing the errors.

    I have a client whose website is utilizing the Enfold theme, but is in Version 3.8, and the designer who created the site is not around anymore, so the site theme has been not updated due to not having the API key.

    However, after researching, I just purchased a new license so I can update the theme to the correct version.

    I have followed the above steps, but when I browse for the file and find it and select it and click open to have it brought in so I can upload it, it shutdowns my webpage and logs me out, and I have to go in and try it all over again.

    I have tried this multiple times and the same thing keeps happening.

    Any suggestions of how I can upload this file without this issue arising?

    Is there a way to add more ording rules to the ording widget on Enfold theme?

    I would like to add all the available products categories into that widget, so we can search by product type under a specific brand

    For example, let’s say we have brands NIKE and ADDIDAS, and we have categories SHOES, SOCKS and ACCESSORIES.

    So when I click on NIKE brand, we have a widget to sort by name, relevance, price, etc…but I want to import all the categories there too. So I can sort all the SHOES by the brand NIKE.

    Right now, I use the Perfect WooCommerce Brands to be able to set Brands for each product, if that matters.

    @PIW Those strings are coming from WooCommerce and should be translated in WooCommerce plugin. Please search them not in Enfold but in WooCommerce :)

    Hi dear Enfold-Team

    I ‘ve an issue with some content wich is not shown… probably it is due to a nested shortcode-thing (could well imagine). And: I’m not a coder… :-(

    The issue:
    I have a page with five columns… in each column the content of a special post wich is added by a shortcode.
    Now I have an other page in wich I use the content slider to show the content of several other pages… specially the one page with the post shortcodes in it. For this page the content is shown but not the contents of the posts I added in the columns. I then searched or a plugin handling nested shortcodes and installed it (Outerbridge Nested Shortcodes), but content is still not showing… (This plugin is well known for good working).

    Could you help me with some suggestions?
    It is for the intranet of a client, so I only could give you screenshots but no URLs.

    Thank you for your reply. I could not respond earlier because I was on vacation. I will not enable avia layout builder debugger If it will not cause any problems in the future. I’m glad tot hear that. (The reason why was that some campers were not showing in the search results. To solve this I have to go standard builder, code editor and delete <!– /wp:shortcode –> at the beginning and ending. Then I have to save it. Put is back and go to the advanced builder again and then the problem is solves. I made a note to do this every time I add a camper.)

    The site went at the end of last week https://www.camperfans.nl/ and there are no problems with the buttons at that server. I will wait with updating for a while. Thanks for the tip off deleting the enfold folder in stead off over writing. I will do that. If the problem occurs after updating and I can not solve it I will open a new ticket.

    Hello,

    I don’t want the Alt text always showing when I am hovering over an image. In the masonry gallery I activated the title to be visible when hovering over the image. But then additionally to this the Alt text information appears. So the exact same text is showing twice when hovering over an image which looks kind of stupid.

    I did some research here in the forum and found this link: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/image/#remove-image-alt-title-on-hover

    Unfortunately it is not explained where exactly this code has to be placed. It says “It is a browser feature but it is possible to hide them by adding following code to Functions.php file of your child theme in Appearance > Editor”.
    I don’t know anything about CSS or programming. So when I go to this editor I get a warning which says I should not change anything in this theme otherwise it might be broken afterwards. Also I don’t understand where exactly I need to put this text.
    So right now I am a little bit scared that I might break something and haven’t put the text code anywhere yet.
    Another person in the forum also wrote that this code didn’t work at all with the Masonry gallery.

    Also I need to know if the Alt text can still be found by Google search engines when placing this code into the theme? Or does this destroy any possibility that the website can be found through Google search?

    Sorry for the late reply, I took a look at your form but didn’t find any errors that may cause this issue.
    I recommend disabling your cache plugin and autoptimize and the theme’s js merging, perhaps other plugins for a clean test.
    I tested your script on my localhost with the contact form which had a drop-down box and it worked good:

    So I believe that your code should work fine with the current Enfold, I also note that when your page loads the “#wwlc_country” drop-down is activated so your script is targeting it and is trying to run. But without any error feedback it’s hard to say what is going wrong.
    The only other thing I see is your autoptimize is triggering “Predictive Search — DEBUG” in the console, perhaps this “debug” is causing the issue, I don’t know.
    Hopefully, this helps some.

    When I try Google, it tells me that the website is not mobile friendly. Google comments:

    I am facing issues with enfold tags and get an error 404 on the webpage https://www.siamhillscoffee.com. Please follow the link to see the tag error: https://www.siamhillscoffee.com/tag/news/

    I am not using any news tags on my posts/portfolios/products and in Yoast SEO I also make all tags invisible for search engines. I tried to deactivate all plugins, Cloudflare and extra disabled all enfold related performance settings and the error still exists.

    I researched your blog for any solutions and all that I could find is to change the permalink structure to custom structure, but that did not work. The settings are still showing post name and not custom structure.

    I don’t have any clue how to fix that. Could you please investigate that for me?

    I have searched to find the answers, but no luck… so I’m starting a new thread. I want to do the following:

    1) Increase the height of the top gray bar (above the main menu).

    2) Increase the font size for the phone number.

    3) Add additional text on the left, and be able to adjust the size as in #2.

    4) Make the phone number clickable (i.e. add tel:+17045045354 so they can click and call the number).

    5) And “IF” I want to add additional words there (i.e. like a “Specials” link), how do I do that?

    thank you for this info. I am not sure, if this is really similar to my problem. But, as I did not find the ‘shop_catalog’ thumbnail listed in what Enfold is adding to the hole thumbnail portfolio of woocommerce, I searched for it and found it in some woocommerce config.php
    For example:
    //product thumbnails
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_thumbnail’] = array(‘width’=>120, ‘height’=>120);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_catalog’] = array(‘width’=>450, ‘height’=>450);
    $avia_config[‘imgSize’][‘shop_single’] = array(‘width’=>450, ‘height’=>999, ‘crop’ => false);

    To my mind, as a coding amateur, it would be logical to change this size into:

    How could one achieve this with a child theme?

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    The default or standard order is alphabetical. You can change the default by editing the “avia_woocommerce_frontend_search_params” in the config-woocommerce > config.php file, which is located around line 1382. Please note that the default WooCommerce filters are not going to work with the theme’s product grid element.

    Hello, I have one client where Enfold fails to update from 4.5.6 to 4.5.7 showing this error message: Beim Aktualisieren von Enfold ist ein Fehler aufgetreten: Aktualisierungs-Paket nicht verfügbar.

    The token has the following permissions set:

    – View and search Envato sites
    – View your Envato Account username
    – Download your purchased items
    – List purchases you’ve made
    – Verify purchases you’ve made

    We checked the token on 2019/05/20 11:35 and we were able to connect to Envato and could access the following information:

    Your purchases
    Your username: ••••••••••••
    E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
    Following errors occured:

    email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
    – code: not_authenticated

    The email error seems to be common as I get it in all my Enfold installations.

    So how do I get the theme to autoupdate again?

    Hi there,

    I was searching in the documentation of Enfold and it seems i can’t find the solution.
    I have installed the enfold theme on domain https://www.krukerinkdewolde.nl and i am using the vertical navigation.
    What i would love to do is edit the navigation menu, i would like to remove the social media icons and add a custom html onder the navigation bar.

    I’m also sure about no malware in Enfold :)

    Websites can be hacked, that’s a fact, but I couldn’t find any corrupted code in WP …
    Debugging did not work as the webshoster made the website unaccessible. Only way to make frontend accessible was to call the host and tell him to do so. We will see whether it was a problem with the webhoster or with WP itself. I checked the whole installation by searching for the strings they told me would cause the problem but couldn’t find them in any of the files.

    Hello together,

    I have created and assigned a custom 404 page but when entering a non-existing URL it doesn’t direct me to this page but rather to the generic page titled “Nothing found” with the search box.
    So far I have tried to re-apply the setting, clear the cache, deactivate the Yoast SEO plugin as recommended in another ticket but nothing has worked yet.
    I remember it working correctly with an older version of Enfold though.

    How can this be fixed?
