Hi again Barbara,

I got clarification from our developers now, and it turns out that it’s not a bug, it’s only poor knowledge on my behalf.

First off all, please add this to your functions.php file in order to activate the advance options under Enfold->Custom Elements: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-element-templates/#custom-elements-advanced-options

After that, please select the second option in the Custom Elements For Subitems dropdown: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/custom-element-templates/#custom-elements-advanced-option-custom-elements-for-subitems

Hey tonytrabon,

There is an element covering the WordPress menu, it’s a div with the class mysticky-welcomebar-fixed-wrap. That is not part of the theme, and looking at your plugins, it might be added by the myStickymenu plugin. Are you using that for anything? If not, then please disable it.

Hi,

Yes, disabling both of those should work. When file compression is active in the theme, it creates a problem with the SG Optimiser. You should be able to add the same functionality in the actual plugin though.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’d like to try it out myself, but you haven’t provided us with any clear instructions on how to reproduce the problem. The screenshots are not really helpful, since we don’t know what you actually are doing or changing on the site. I tried changing Text Blocks and Google Maps elements on the test page in all three languages, and the only problem I can see is that the layout seems to be different in Italian. Is that the problem you are having?

As for the problem with the templates; please try to give us step by step instruction on how to reproduce it.

Thanks for the update. I see that you have disabled the caching plugin, but the resources on your site are still loading from its directory. Please see example in private. Please try reaching out to the plugin developers for advice on how to properly clear the cache from the plugin.

Tab Section; please select the Auto adjust the content option in the Content height dropdown in the element option.

Logo; I’m not sure what you are looking to achieve. Please try to explain the problem a bit further, or post a screenshot highlighting your intentions.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. If this was a general theme problem, then all sites running Enfold would have the same problem. That is not the case, so that means something is going wrong locally with either the content on your site, or on the server. I can’t login into your site any more to check anything though, since it’s only displaying an error message. Navigating to the admin-ajax.php file doesn’t do or prove anything, since it’s not a file which is supposed to be used for the front end.

What exactly did you hosting provider add in the test script?

Thanks for the update. Are you running the SG Optimiser plugin on your site? If so, then please try turning off file compression under Enfold->Performance, to see if that helps. If not, then please include admin WordPress login details in private, so that we can have a closer look.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. The LayerSlider which is included in the theme is not the premium version. If you would like that version, then you would have to purchase a separate licence for that. The license you bought is for the Enfold theme, which has a bundled version of the LayerSlider. The bundled version is not the same as a premium license for LayerSlider.

Thanks for the update, and for the screenshots. I’m still not sure I understand exactly what we need to do in order to reproduce the problem you are having though. Is it that changes to the Google Maps elements are not sticking? Or is it that you can’t load custom templates? If so, which templates, and how does the error manifest itself? If you could record a screencast while you are reproducing the problem on your end, then it might be easier for us to understand. If you can’t do that, then please try to send us step-by-step instructions on what to do.
