Header type with a widget area on the right and bottom navigation.
• Possibility to add classes to Layout Elements
+1
Edit (Dude): Already supported – see: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/custom-css-class/#post-169149
Another vote for Mailchimp support
A few more randoms..
1) Ability to use an image instead of a font icon in icon boxes, lists etc.
2) Option to use CSS animations such as those on the images or icon lists on other elements,
Example: http://the7.dream-demo.com/shortcodes/animation/3) Closeable notification boxes.
i.e. http://theme-fusion.com/avada/alert-messages/4) More styling options for images and promo boxes
i.e. http://theme-fusion.com/avada/image-frames/
http://theme-fusion.com/avada/promotion-boxes/Seem to have another issue, when I used the shortcode button to insert a font icon in a text block the resulting page doesn’t show the icon, it shows the shortcode text in the colour/size set for the icon.
Can’t you just line them up with the mouse?
Seems to me you’re misunderstanding what a sidebar is. By definition a sidebar fills the whole side of the layout. It’s not a bug, it’s how wordpress is designed. If you want to mix full width and column layouts, why not just use a full width template and use the layout builder to set out the mixture of full width/column sections as you need it?
I think you’re being rather unfair with your comments about the support on here as they guys do an awesome job of supporting Kriesi’s themes. *WAY* better than most themes I’ve bought in the past.
I raised this recently in the feature requests thread. Perhaps you could add this in there too to add some support to that request.
One key thing I’d love to see right now would be the ability to use *any* graphic in an icon box or list etc. The icon font supplied is useful for a few basic website styles, but really not flexible enough to cover the icons I’d like to use.
There’s an excellent example of how this could work in a new theme on TF called ‘The7’. Take a look at how it handles icon lists in this demo page:
You’re welcome, glad I could help.
:-)
You could try adding a symmetrical shadow to the main container wrapper.
Something like:
Code:#wrap_all { box-shadow: 0px 20px 20px rgba(0,0,0,0.7); }Obviously you’d probably want to add in the old mozilla and webkit specifics too, just to be sure (-moz-box-shadow & -webkit-box-shadow)
The table editor really needs to be able to insert a row or column to an existing table as it is very limited right now and it’s not really usable if you need to amend an existing table..
Fantastic idea for a widget area in the header.
A massive +1 from me :-)
Also, if you had the icon boxes inside a page section, you could assign a custom CSS ID to the section and then apply the CSS rules to that. Would save worrying about specific page Ids then.
And a *closeable* message box type:
FAO Nick:
Here’s an example of what I mean by pull quotes:
http://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design/features/shortcodes/pullquote-and-blockquote-styles/
How about a shortcode for indented pull quotes as well as full-width blockquotes?
<Nick: Can you paste a URL to a live site that demonstrates what you describe (no images please)
You’re welcome :-)
Try changing the top-margin value in your custom.css
Code:body .column-top-margin {
margin-top: 50px;
}Another vote to support the masonry grid style for galleries please!
Thanks :)
Hey thanks, it seems that clearing the cache sorted it.
One last question. Any chance of adding the custom CSS to the layout elements too? i.e. to the divs which build the column layouts rather than just the elements within them?
Are you sure this works because I can’t see any other reference to avia_template_builder_custom_css in the theme source, so there doesn’t appear to be anything actually using that identifier.
You’re right. I just checked on my iPad3 running iOS7 and if I scroll down your example page Safari crashes. Weird!
Yes I know how it is supposed to work, but it’s not doing so.
I’ve already updated to 1.8.1 and I have added the line you said into functions.php but I am not seeing the extra input field available in the editor. It looks exactly the same as before.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve added that line in functions.php, but I’m not seeing any additional fields in the editor.
Am I missing something?
Try using a custom link with a URL of #, works for me :-)
Can’t you just use a coloured section from the layout builder?
Any chance of adding a *closeable* notification/alert box type?
I’ve seen quite a few themes recently where a notification box can have a little ‘X’ or button to close it once the notification has been read. It would be great to see this in Enfold without needing an extra plugin.
Would like to be have the ability to insert a row or column in the middle of an existing table in the advanced editor. At present it only adds to the end.
