Hi,
Not sure if this is related to this issue but you have /enfold/enfold/ which is quite unusual and would probably require some rewrites to even get working. Any particular reason you are using such a folder structure? Have you edited any of the theme files?
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
i can explain for you how its done. you make a fake menu that goes up from the bottom, to the top and keeps on going. But just at the moment that the fake menu is lined up perfectly on the very top , jquerry makes visible a menu that is real but looks identical to fake menu that was invisible on the very top all along and it becomes visible the very moment the fake menu occupies the same space but on a level below it. This creates the illusion that the menu became stuck on top.
I suggest you become familiar with Chrome developer tools which will help you to locate the code – both css and jquery as well as html which create this illusion. however you will still need to know php and wordpress specific functions in order to be able to create a functional menu and integrate it with a theme. Such a project is outside the scope of the support team and we recommend you hire a freelance developer to assist you, or find a plugin that offers such functionality.
thanks,
nick
Hi,
For the moment no. That is its possible but would take a bit of time to do and is outside the scope of the support forum. You would need a freelance developer for something like this.

Hi,
Your page has numerous identical errors because your website uses HTTP and you are connecting to Google Maps server using HTTPS ( https;//maps.google.com ) which results in a very slow, choppy, fubar website. Please be consistent , and use either all HTTPS or all HTTP. i counted 80 errors in 15 seconds and more were coming none stop..
That’s part of it. The other part is harder to deal with . http://www.webpagetest.org/result/130818_5D_GJH/1/details/ . Your page has 250+ individual objects that are being loaded while most sites have around 110. Take a look at the amount of gunk that’s being loaded from i am not sure where since a fresh theme doesnt load 1/4 of these. Your site shouldn’t take this long to load or you will get a penalty. the initial 2 second wait speaks of a problem with sql server. talk to your host about this, as perhaps they might be overselling a bit..
1.5 million? nice! Kriesi has been working on a new design for this site which will be unveiled i believe sooner than later.

Nice customization of Choices on the linkrep website, I like the font on bottom right ,,, very crisp. though you are using a very old version of Choices, around 10 months old at least.. that I would update from your 1.5 to 1.9 , the current. You shouldn’t be running 1.5….. you can use http://www.winmerge.com to transfer any customizations you made to the templates and if none were made, then update with straight ftp.

Hi,
I think you are confusing something, because h5 refers to a type of a font size designated as a heading. header elements normally do not have borders, though they often enough reside in div or span tags that have such a border. Please show a URL where something like what you describe can be found in order for us to give you a meaningful solution.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
No at the moment I am afraid since Facebook doesnt want to lose its branding if everyone starts having personal pages with different looks and feels.. Good idea though!
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
You actually need 3 parts in order to create a line and you only had of the 3;
border-bottom-width: 10px;
border-bottom-style: solid;
border-bottom-color: #6D9B18;Please try that instead, and make sure to place it at the very bottom of either Quick CSS in Enfold > (Theme options) > Styling Layout.. the textbox at the bottom of the page OR to bottom of /css/custom.css
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Sorry the URL you pasted doesn’t work in Chrome either http://www.clipular.com/c?14320534=l4DzBIFCAUkTPludiOf79Ttv2JA&f=.png

Hi,
Those are not images but glyphs , a font much the same as any other font but instead of letters they have those symbols. if you look at your text editor you can add one with a shortcode (magic wand with yellow glow button on top of text editor) , then you can give it font size 190px or so and it will look like a large image though it is selectable as any regular font.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
On IE9 everything should look fine when i looked early last week. Can you post a screen shot showing where you see problems please? IE8 , you simply can’t expect to look like ie10, where Microsoft was forced for a change to allow it to understand CSS the way other browsers do…. the huge market share loss to Chrome forced them to abandon their strategy since IE6 of fragmenting the market by releasing interdependente proprietary css – bad css – on purpose in ie7 and 8. It should still look relatively well on IE8, naturally degrading, but effects such as fading and movement are beyond its abilities , for example IE8 doesn’t understand , draw or interpret circles or ovals, (though it draws squares and rectangles perfectly, go figure!)
But expecting it to perform on the level of IE10 or even anywhere near the level is as realistic as expecting the winner of the special olympics to have a shot at qualifying for regular games. Basically the cool animations and transitions naturally degrade in ie9, and degrade a bit more in ie8 but still remain equivalent of static images. IE7 , the few users who remain attached to that browser are mostly in hard to reach areas of the world – Amazon Basin, Outer Mongolia and they are well used to seeing the web as a patchwork of javascript errors with random fonts and drab colors. Seeing a functional website might confuse them into extinction.
Please put up a screen shot or two for IE8 and 9 so we can see how best to get this resolved.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Please add this to your quick css or to /css/custom.css file
#top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:first-child {
border-top-width: 0px;
}
#top.avia-blank #main .container_wrap:last-child {
border-bottom-width: 0px;
}
.main_color, .main_color .site-background {
background-color:#FFF !important;
}Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
You can get in touch with Ismael using these directions: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/images-in-gallery-disappearing#post-120691

Hi,
I took a look at your css. please remove whatever you are adding. All these twitches and flickering is there because of the css you added. Take it out and you will notice that everything is back to normal.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
I am sorry , but could you post a url to your site since the one you display in your name leads to a maintenance screen. it should be possible though.
thanks,
nick
Hi,
It’s possible to change the order of any gallery by rearranging the order of the images after you add each gallery image. Take a look at the first answer here. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/making-the-gallery-respect-image-order
I just repeated your steps 4 times , some i added a new image to the gallery, others just resaved , but everything always came out the way it was supposed to.
Do you have a url you can show us please.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
There is something off in your css that I can’t put my finger on, but I have real trouble getting anything to move where I want it using css on your site. I even removed the css you used in the custom area, It feels like there are multiple relative/absolute settings got mixed up someplace
As I wrote before, get rid of the layer slider, or give it more height, since i think thats the cause of your empty space around it as well.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Sorry about that man. i paste that URL so many times that I think I started tuning it out. Need to use a different url shortner. My bad. Funny thing is I remember your website now, that old man in white. lol.
I started giving you the css now, but deleted it. you have fundamental problems with the design so everything is backwards. Please remove the layer slider and instead just add an image element. if you do that, all else will fall into place (if you remove also from custom.css the top:-49px block.
thanks,
Nick
Hi,
The mega menu is meant to be on top of the page. You would need to open header.php and take it out and paste it into footer.php …
Another way would be by using top/bottom. But I would not use the height the way you did. Please try this css, and add it either to /css/custom.css on the bottom OR to Quick CSS located in Enfold > (Theme Options) > Layout Styling … the text area at the bottom of the page.
#header_main .container, .main_menu ul:first-child > li a {
height: 148px !important;
line-height: 88px !important;
}
.main_menu {
top: 622px;
}Thanks,
nick
Hi,
I went to URL but did not see Enfold theme. You would need to use the template-builder.php file if you are using advanced elements in pages.
Thanks,

Hi,
In order for us to help you, please include a URL to the particular page where you are experiencing this problem. Since each page can be created in a number of different ways , and due to many updates, it is simply not possible to provide you with a meaningful solution without first seeing the page with the live code. A screen capture will not help. What you can do is hide the url to your site by using the http://www.goo.gl url shortner.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
You have multiple errors and warning …
1) Warning: you have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors. main.js:48
2) Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) — http://www.musikzentrale.net/scripts/common_scripts/frontend/common_frontend.js?ver=1.10-standard
3) Uncaught Error: Script error — http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#scripterror — default.include.af1d95.js:5
MenuThis css below will remove the mobile menu. Please add it to quick css located in enfold > (theme options) > layout styling … the text area at the page bottom OR add it to /css/custom.css at the end of the file.
#top #advanced_menu_toggle {
display: none;
}Thanks,
Nick

Hi,
I just tested the drop caps with a child theme and they displayed without a problem. What version of the theme are you using? Please update since the updates are released very frequently.
Thanks,
Nick
Glad you were able to solve this!
Enjoy the theme,
Nick

August 17, 2013 at 7:52 pm in reply to: Second link in post with Link Format gets stripped out #134861Hi,
In /includes/helper-post-format.php on one of these two lines is where it gets stripped out, try commenting out one line at a time to uncover which one works for you – lines 226, 234, is where the removal of the url from the body takes place I believe. Both lines look the same:
$current_post['content'] = str_replace($link, "", $current_post['content']);
Just add // in front.
Thanks,
Nick
cyrusis,
Very nice. Bravo! Like the spinning light rays, good use of Layer Slider.

August 17, 2013 at 7:07 pm in reply to: how to control the size of the smaller logo and/or the depth of the header area #118403Hi,
I think, and this is not proven so perhaps you can try this, is the cause of this is the odd number in the height of your logo’s normal size, and the way that different browsers handle an odd number divided by two or for that matter how the handle remainders. Please try adding or cutting 1 pixel to your logo’s height and see if that changes this behavior. Because that would perfectly explain this phenomenon.
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
Please try this, if you want to change it yourself, remember that if you bring the smaller number to 3% you will need to lower the bigger number to probably 22.5% . Right now you were at 4% I believe and 22…. something..
div .av_one_fourth {
margin-left: 2%;
width: 23.4%;
}Please add that to Quick CSS located in Enfold > (theme options) > Layout Styling OR to /css/custom.css
Thanks,
Nick
Hi,
To make it simpler. Just paste the entire file into functions.php for now of the child theme just take out the <?php from the start along with the lines I asked you to take out. You should not be getting any errors (the function.php file already starts with <?php . If you do , paste it here. but if you are having a problem its a technical problem (you are pasting it wrong somehow) and not the problem with the methods we are providing for you.
Thanks,
Nick
