Thanks for the response :)

It also needs to get positioned with css and then further positioned for the various responsive sizes of the theme. If it is something that you definitely need to have I’d suggest having a freelance developer add it in for you and then do the css to position it how you need it. I would guess about an hour total to get it in and fully responsive.
Another way you could do it would be to just style a specific menu item by its ID but again you would need to be at least familiar with CSS and using in-browser inspection tools.

Hi Monsoon,
You can add captions to images in a gallery shortcode (or in the advanced layout editor the gallery media element) to get that effect. There is a bug with the hover effect and displaying them so if you do, you’ll also need to use this css in your Quick CSS filed in the Theme Options Styling Tab:
.avia-gallery-thumb .image-overlay.overlay-type-image {
display: none !important;
}Regards,
Devin
As lounge35, there isn’t any shortcode/function for it yet but you can do it with the php snippet he provided.
Hi dbardits,
I’ll mark the topic as resolved since you were able to figure it out already :)

Devin
Hi franktw,
You need to add:
[nolink]
At the end of the input area for the copyright field in the footer section of the theme options.

Devin
Hi lounge35,
You should be able to select the option to be notified from Themeforest in your Downloads section for Enfold whenever the files get updated on their servers.

Devin
Hi master-t,
Please don’t make duplicate topics for the same question/issue. It makes it much more difficult to answer and clogs up search results when others are looking for answers.
For the labels, no it is not easily possible but you could suggest the option as a feature request in the feature request topic here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests
Regards,
Devin
Hi franktw,
You can you can make a feature request for something like that here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests
Otherwise, its pretty simple to just add a button or specific content into the main header or even try building the layout you want with the advanced layout editor and a blank page template (no header or footer and all manually added content).

Devin
Hi DavyE,
You can use the regular portfolio custom post type and do exactly that. Just add portfolio element using the advanced layout builder to the page you want the portfolio group to show on and only select those categories you want to show on that page.
As long as the categories for each group don’t cross over, only those categories that can be sorted on that specific page will be shown.

Devin
We are actively trying to create some new tools and tutorials to help out users so if you can give some specifics on what you were looking for we can see if it something we can do :)

You can try updating the theme files by re-downloading the theme from themeforest. There were a few bug fixes and new features though I’m not entirely sure this is related but it could be and it doesn’t to hurt to have the most recent bug fixes installed.
April 27, 2013 at 7:31 pm in reply to: Where do i find the Lastest News widget from the demo? #116143Hi schorni,
You just need to have a featured image to have that widget show the same as in the demo.

Hi master-t,
I’ve tagged the topic for Kriesi as I do see some issues with the header background and the color settings for it that don’t have consistent behavior.
If you can provide a link to your site, we can provide some css to fix it in the mean time while Kriesi works on a fix.
Regards,
Devin
Glad you were able to find a work around. I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi so that he can look into it as well.
Out of curiosity, any reason why you wouldn’t just use the layout builder for the layout? I’ve found it to be superior in almost every facet to doing things in the regular visual editor.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Pappasdg,
You can try going to your user profile in wordpress and for the Visual Editor checkbox option selecting it so Disable the visual editor when writing is selected.

Devin
Hey mohitso,
I just addressed your other topic on the same question here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/my-quick-css-how-do-i-make-menu-font-in-header-larger
Please only make a single topic for an individual question as it makes it easier to answer and for others to search for answers.

Devin
Hi navidsatan,
I included that in this short video overview of the layout editor as it had been asked about a few times already: https://vimeo.com/64927358
Its just adding a wide image that is set to stretch to a color section and setting it to fixed. If you have any questions about it after just let us know but hopefully that clears it up :)

Devin
April 27, 2013 at 5:07 pm in reply to: My Quick CSS? How do I make menu font in header larger? #116068Hey mohitso,
Can we see your site live? We can inspect the code and see what css should be used to accurately target your main menu and make the font size larger.

Devin
I’m glad its working for you now artistic24459. It would probably one of the updates that have been coming out pretty rapidly in the past week as I know Kriesi did some fixes here and there for Child themes.
Just make sure to keep an eye on the version.txt in the main folder you download from Themeforest whenever you download an update to see what has been changed specifically so you can update the duplicate in your child theme if you are replacing it.

Devin
April 27, 2013 at 4:40 pm in reply to: a real SEO problem: blog post title should be H1 header #115988Hi Sander,
That should be the only spot you need to change it but you can also always control the display of that header information from the Layout meta box on each page/post using the dropdown for Header.
Regards,
Devin
Hi NaRanJiTo78,
You can add them in the Header tab of the theme options once you choose a header option that has Social Icons in it.
So just change the Header dropdown in that tab to any of the options that mention the social icons and the new options should appear.

Devin
Hi rynleigh,
1) This is correct as far as I know. You can use the Advanced Layout Editor to make your individual portfolio display however you want and use the featured image to define the preview image.
2) Try disabling all active plugins. I just tested it on my live install and am not getting any issues with it taking effect/not taking effect.
3 and 4) Same as with #2, it sounds like there is a plugin or configuration for your wordpress installation not quite working correctly.

Devin
April 27, 2013 at 4:30 pm in reply to: All CSS editing from "Edit Themes" rather than via DW? #116046Hi TheoatTX,
Not that I know of, but you really should never touch any of the theme css files for any reason. All changes should be done through either the Quick CSS in the Styling tab or the custom.css file in the css folder.
You can use free programs like Filezilla and Notepad++ to edit things locally and then upload via FTP which is pretty standard.

Devin
Hi master-t,
So far in 1.3.1 there was only a small change in layout.css that I can see but 1.3 is live on Themeforest at the moment. I’m not sure if Kriesi will be uploading 1.3.1 now – or if its already on the way – but my guess would be in the next few days.

Devin
Hi silviouk,
It doesn’t look like the image is getting spit out into the code at all. Can you double check that the images have been added to the other team members in that element? You can also try deleting them and then re-adding them in.
Regards,
Devin
Hi Silvio,
If its the menu from the link on your username, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
#menu-new_menu1 {
background: #333;
}
#menu-new_menu1 li {
background: #666;
}I added the individual list item background as well since you currently have it set to white and just so its there for a quick reference.
Regards,
Devin
Glad Dude could help :)
Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.

Devin
Hi andyhoodified,
Not without a bit of css modification and maybe editing the theme files directly. It has a lot of flexibility as far as layouts go but individual elements aren’t able to 100% customized at this point yet.
For the icon, Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
.template-blog .image-overlay-inside {
display: none;
}Regards,
Devin
Hi madebynoemi,
When you use the theme settings to point to the “blog” it overwrites anything and all settings on that specific page. So if you want to customize it, just do your customization and add the blog page to your menu but don’t use the theme options for it.

Devin
