In reply to: Backend Spinning and Can't Edit
Hi Justine,
You’ll find wp-config at the root of your WordPress file directory and you can add the code there, you won’t be able to access it via Appearance > Editor, so you’ll need to access it via ftp or cpanel.
For more information on this you can check the codex: https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Disable_Javascript_ConcatenationCan you give us ftp access? so we can check further on this as well. To be honest, it’s also unclear why this is happening but the most common case is wordfence and some plugins causing this.
Would it be okay if we temporary try to isolate and debug the issue, your live site will need to be under maintenance.Best regards,
NikkoMay 27, 2019 at 3:36 am #1104392In reply to: Backend Spinning and Can't Edit
Hi jnightingale,
It seems that wordfence is causing this issue, there are some users that claimed disabling wordfence firewall fixes this for them:
– https://kriesi.at/support/topic/conflick-avia-editor-spinning-after-wordpress-4-5-update-and-code-functions-fix/#post-623155
Can you try to check it out? and if it does maybe set it to learning mode instead.
Hope this helps.Best regards,

Thanks for the login, I took a look and found that all of the issues were the same:The issue type is: Spam:HTML/mp3Spam.3013 Description: Spam promoting indonesian musicyet when I look at the files they are clean. I found this on the WordFence support from 2 days ago.
Seems they had an issue, and now recommend updating and running the scan again.

Hello, I have to change the theme because the one I used to stop doing updates for a while.My webmaster tell me about you (your theme)
N.B .: my web master is retiring soon and I am not a webmaster but I’m doing well so I need it easy. That’s why he advises me on your theme, for conviviality etc … ..
Here is my site for reference: http://www.chantalleduc.ca, site in 2 languages
E-commerce site with WooCommerce, training sale download Mp3What demo, you advise me, to have the least possible design to do (modification)
I’d like to know if the plugins I’m using already work well with you
– Many of YITH
– Share Buttons by AddThis
– Ultimate GDPR
– WooCommerce Multilingual
– Wordfence Security
– Yoast SEO Premium
– WPML (I think it’s already included in your site)
– Etc ….
Does your support work with tickets, so directly between you and me.
I had this with the old theme, I loved it, quick response within 24h and response customize. Your response time is approximately how long ….
Does your update time, am very close to the update of WooCommerce, wordpress and etc …. (The main what)
My old theme was hanging out, so many problems of site pending updates compatible with that of WooCommerce and etc …

The Site works now for me.
There must have been a configuration issue with W3TC, Wordfence or one of the server settings you may have removed.If you want to readd the nosniff-directive, you have to ensure that the server is sending the correct Mime-Types to the browser.
=> https://webplatform.github.io/docs/tutorials/configuring_mimetypes_on_the_server/——
Edit: Try deleting browser caches when you still have errors in some browsers … especially on mobile … a normal “refresh” is not enough on mobile, because it does rely more on caching data … may helpApril 3, 2019 at 5:20 pm #1086627In reply to: Styles & Images NOT LOADING on (mostly) MOBILE
W3TC is gone, Wordfence is gone, databases dropped for those in attempt to start over. Something has written to a file somewhere ??
(We have multiple other websites all with Enfold, and on the same server setup, but no problems…only this one website…)March 31, 2019 at 1:49 am #1084979In reply to: Error after theme update
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
I can tell you for sure there is some sort of a script related to an adware is installed on your site. When I visit your site for the first time I get a random pop-up that takes me to a convert pdf site.
You may have not installed this Malware on purpose but there are many ways it can creep into your site. If you have any free plugins that was downloaded from outside the WordPress plugin directory or if your hosting account was hacked and someone randomly injected a script on all the sites on the hosting server.
Nothing to worry it can be resolved easily.
– First, uninstall any such plugins which are downloaded outside the plugin directory.
– Please update your WP and Hosting CP passwords to a strong password.
– Ask your hosting company to scan for virus on your site.
– Deactivate all plugins.
– Install WordFence
– Install Anti-Malware security pluginAlso refer to the below links

in forum Enfoldginnywills
ParticipantHi,
I have one contact form on my site that is your standard Enfold form (not a plugin) but I keep getting spam through it, even though I have Captcha on it and Wordfence installed.
I am located in the US and the spam is coming from Russian email addresses and in the Russian alphabet.
Do you have any suggestions? Should I abandon the Enfold form and use a plugin?
Thanks,
GinnyMarch 14, 2019 at 2:33 pm #1078705In reply to: New Message (sent by contact form at Enfold)
@pikes4ever,
Thanks for sharing info about your problem, could help others. I’ve suffered ‘manual spam’ using both forms, Enfold and CF7. After adding two security questions to CF7 (quiz) and adding 3 IP’s to Wordfence WAF, spam has stopped. Finally I’m starting testing reCAPTCHA module build into Enfold in one site to see how is going.

Hi,
I took a look at the page in the Private Content area, and found that your image “titles” are like this “Link a: 3512406586 Anna”
so I thought that you are adding links to your “titles” or what you might be calling your “image labels”, but links are removed from there. I tried to login to see but WordFence locked me out.Please try to add some screenshots of what you are calling “image labels” because I might call it something else. I just want to be clear what we are working on.

Most likely a plugin issue, but in the midst of updating my sites to Enfold 4.5.3 — all of them also run Wordfence — initial update runs fine. But after scanning with Wordfence, it throws a notice that Enfold 4.5.3 is available — to “update Enfold 4.5.3 > 4.5.3” 😀Checked via “inspect element” and it shows Enfold 4.5.3
Anything here to be concerned about?
Thanks!
Hey Abhishek,
Thanks for contacting us!
We would recommend you to use a security plugin such as this one – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/ :)
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions :)

Hey Sascha,
Thank you for using Enfold.
You can install security plugins such as WordFence or Sucuri to fend some malicious activities off the site. And install a third party contact form plugin such as Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms, which have their own set of security modules such as the Google reCAPTCHA widget.
// https://contactform7.com/recaptcha/
// https://docs.gravityforms.com/captcha/If you don’t want to install one of these, try this Google reCAPTCHA plugin instead, which is specifically created for Enfold:

Sorry for the late reply, I have taken a look at your links, but I can not determine where is the typo is.
I tried to login, but WordFence locked me out, please reset.
Please try to explain what the typo is, perhaps some screenshots would help, you can upload them to your dropbox or Google Drive and paste the links here.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 22, 2019 at 11:18 am #1057145Hi, We have wordfence, so if this is the only way we can stop the spams, I will try contact form 7
January 21, 2019 at 7:57 pm #1056864Disabling Wordfence and trying to Import that LayerSlider into my website gave this error in WP;
“Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”
January 21, 2019 at 7:53 pm #1056861Oh, and this was a message that appeared in WP during that Import of the LayerSlider (this message was not in the err log);
Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 27353831 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/3drenderingservices.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/rules.php on line 1601
I will disable Wordfence and retry
January 21, 2019 at 2:35 pm #1056674Hey YongyanLi,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Have you tried installing a security plugin like Sucuri or WordFence? You can also use a third party contact form plugin like Gravity Form or Contact Form 7 to prevent spammers from abusing the current or default contact form.
Best regards,

Topic: Spam via the contact form
Hi,
I have one contact form on my site that is your standard Enfold form (not a plugin) but I keep getting spam through it, even though I have Captcha on it and Wordfence installed.
I am located in the US and the spam is coming from Russian email addresses and in the Russian alphabet.
Do you have any suggestions? Should I abandon the Enfold form and use a plugin?
Thanks,
