Textblock elements also support shortcodes. The workaround in this case would be to to create a textblock element and then you can insert your code into the TinyMCE texteditor field

I’m using the s2member plugin and I want to use some of their conditional shortcode statements to output display objects.
Ie. I want to do this:

But I’m having trouble getting it to work using the Advanced Layout Editor. It seems to work if I enter it in the default editor. Is there any way to put my s2member conditions around some Enfold shortcode?
Or is my only option to design the whole page with shortcode? If that’s the case, is there an index of all Enfold shortcode for all elements?
Last question: I already messed up the ALE of one page by editing the debug code on it’s own after creating the page in the ALE. Am I ok if I just completely delete that page in wordpress and recreate it from scratch or is my database still corrupted? I now understand why you don’t enable the debug code by default.

Hi,
Please remove the class “align-center” on the image. It will be automatically aligned without the selector. You can change the color value if you want.

thanks for your help with this.
They were made using the advanced layout editor. In the editor view they are intact, eg. the image has the caption surround and text in place, but not when in the frontend view.
The video was also added using the video media item in the advanced layout builder.

Hi Ismael,
Here is a page I created on our testing server and which shows the issues. This is exactly the same in the most recent version of the theme and WP too. You’ll also see that despite the fact that both boxes should be exactly the same as I duplicated the second one, the second box has actually got a lot more padding between the image and the title than the first too.

Hi guys, you’ll be glad to hear that I’ve now almost finished my site and am very happy overall. I just have another few last questions about the blog, which I’ve only just got around to working with now that all other pages are almost done.
The blog in Enfold just doesn’t seem to work like any other blog I’ve used in other themes and I need a little help please.
My problems & question:
1. I want to have mycompany/myblog/category/postname but no matter what I try the built in breadcrumbs in Enfold seem to completely omit the name of the page containing the blog elements. So I end up with something like: mycompany/category/postname instead! I can get this to work if I implicitly set the blog page but then you don’t seem to be able to access the same amount of layout tools which you can use if you don’t set a blog page and just add the posts element to a standard page etc.
2. One of the ONLY genuinely annoying things I’ve discovered about Enfold is that blog post titles and featured images remain selectable as links even when you’ve already clicked them once to read the post (in it’s own url) initially. This doesn’t make any sense at all as once you’ve selected a post (by clicking on the title or image from the parent blog page) these elements shouldn’t still be selectable. This wouldn’t be too bad if when you clicked on the links for a second time nothing happened, but they instead act as page anchor and take you to the top of the page or re-load the page completely even on your demo. While we know there would be no reason to actually try to click on these elements again, we all know what the average website visitor can be like and it would be nice if this was resolved.
3. When you create a page for your blog are you still meant to set this as the ‘Posts Page’ in the WP ‘Settings>Reading’ panel or in the Enfold settings?
4. My posts seem to be centred on my blog page and no matter what settings I change there doesn’t seem to be any way to left align it or use another layout?
Hopefully we’ll see some much needed attention given to the blog section of the Enfold theme in future releases as it feels a little rough around the edges when compared with the rest of the theme which is truly fantastic.

Hi – Could you visit http://thebailorgroup.com/forum-login-test and note how the bbpress reCAPTCHA looks odd due to (I think) a CSS conflict with the theme (see this image: http://thebailorgroup.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/sgCSS.png), and let me know what I can add to custom.CSS to make the reCAPTCHA layout correctly?

Devin, this is a demo site so I can not link a Facebook App to this site via the SEO plug-in, however I did put the image and description data in there several hours ago. Why is the post still picking up data from the theme’s dummy info which I removed from the layer slider? Does the slider need to be moved to another folder and renamed? And if so…how do I go about doing this without breaking image links?

Hi Andi,
You need to use this plugin to regenerate your images: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Any newly uploaded ones should have their thumbnails correctly generated.
The theme doesn’t have support for more than 4 thumbnails at the moment.

You’ll need to use a plugin that provides the open graph data directly to Facebook if it isn’t picking up the image you want it to. I believe Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin will add that in for you through the settings now so you can give that a try first.

Topic: Disable Lightbox
I would like to disable Lightbox on the images on my pages but keep the hover animation. How can I do that? I’ve read through some threads and added some custom CSS but haven’t been able to completely remove. I’m specifically trying to get a gallery to work with Ubergrid but it appears the image is opening twice – once in the site lightbox and once in the Ubergrid lightbox. Thanks for your help!

Try adding this CSS code to the custom.css file or to the Quick CSS:
.image-overlay-inside::before{
background: red !important;
border-color: red !important;
}
Change red for the desired color.

Hi Btina,
The images are scaled down based on what container they are in. So if you want your portfolio images to not be scaled down then you should upload them at 650 width.

The color-section-pictures are all fixed. But on the other browsers it shows only a small part of the whole picture and scrolls with it. Sometimes there are even completely white places or only a part is white, like in the screenshot above.
Ironically only the first color-section on the top works completely fine. The rest has those problems I described.
What common core issue do you mean? Another visual error?
