I downloaded the installable wordpress theme with the new update (1.7, i am using 1.2) and then go to themes > upload > select the .zip file. It doesnt upload. It always say “Are you sure you want to do this?. Please try again.”
Another problems: It says the Jquery Library is old (version 1.6.4) but it used to work. I downloaded the Jquery Updater as recommended and it’s still the same. It says “LayerSlider: old jQuery issue”. Not only the image slider dont show up, the post sliders dont show up either.
Last problem: The Enfold Combo Widget started to look funny. The popular tab is on top and the recent and tag tabs are bellow the widget.
My new proyect has been on hold because of this :( Please help.

I’m new to WP, so these may be dumb questions, but I just can’t seem to figure them out.
I’ve uploaded a new image to replace the Enfold logo, but every time I click on it I get sent back to the dummy page or whatever the standard Enfold page is. How to I change the hyperlink, so that when I click on the logo it returns to my new Home page every time? I rather people click on the logo than build a Home button.
I also can’t figure out how to make my layered slider look like the dummy example. My photos are imported to my computer in all different sizes and resolutions, but I want them to fit the same way I see them in the dummy slider. Either they get cropped or are so large I have to scroll quite a ways to see the image in its entirety. Is there a standard size they should be in order for them to look like the dummy example?

my last post was closed as a moderator thought it was resolved, but it isn’t so again my question:
I want to use a Retina Quality Logo in Enfold.
I found another thread that tells to add an image size attribute to the function-set-avai-frontend.php but this has no influence if I use this in enfold.
I did:

}The Logo is still displayed bigger at his regular size. (the image is double the size(400×120 in my case for retina display)
Do i need to refresh something ( I am quite new in WordPress so please be detailed)
Btw. is 200×100 really the max. recommended size for Enfold or can one go bigger.

I’m sorry, let me clarify a little more. It does transition if I click on it to transition. However, it’s not transitioning automatically. I’ve tried it on multiple browsers and on multiple computers.

There could be a way to do it with some custom css on a specific testimonial set up but it would be unique to the implementation and we would need to see it live to see if its doable.

Hi J,
The theme’s grid is set up to make the blog-grid layout alternate between 1 full width and 2 half width blog posts in the blog grid layout. See: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/blog/blog-grid/
So on your phone (s3) you’ll actually get 2 columns at 205px wide since the screen width is 720px. This is equivalent to the column size for the blog grid on desktop screens when using 3 columns and a sidebar as the demo does.

Thank you for your reply. My footer looks like the demo video on the vimeo link you sent over..a ton of page links that go on for miles.. there are 3 colums in the footer right now: Interesting Links, Pages, Categories.
However on the enfold live demo.. the footer is different…it’s actually formatted… How do we make our footer look like the live demo page (from themeforrest) for enfold… are there footer widgets?….

For the masonry blog offset layout, can you please consider some flexibility in the image sizes. Would be great to display different size landscape and portrait images. Would also be nice if each post had box-shadow option (like pinterest), kind of like the portfolio items. Current grid layout looks plain and not really like a magazine style. Thanks!

As a side note, I did create a class and placed it in the custom.css: .header1 {font-size:16px;} and placed the class on the particular page only after saving the class in custom.css, but that class did not get called.

Hi, can you please assist me with the following tasks. Some background: I installed Enfold theme + WPML plugin (which is supposed to have full support). The site is here: avv.test0.biz , htaccess is admin / admin .
1. http://avv.test0.biz/?page_id=734 how can I make the “НОВИНИ” block have the same layout as on this page http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/shortcodes/blog-element/ the “Half Sized Blog Element (Single Author Style)”? My developer says that a sidebar is required for this, to remove the “fullsize” class to make this happen. I think it’s kind of odd. Is there another way to control this without messing up with the code?
2. http://avv.test0.biz/?page_id=1167 — I created a contact form, translated it in Ukrainian, however it does not send emails sometimes. When it does, the fields I mixed up and not all fields go through. Ukrainian is one of the supported languages as far as I can see. My developer says, that some cyrillic characters don’t pass the filter when the form is processed.
3. Is there a way to control showing/not showing post feature images for Blog Posts controls?

I have been asked to create a multi-lingual website (English and French) and was wondering what the best way to do this is in Enfold. The translation will of course need to cover sliders too. Also, what effect does this have on SEO if any?

I’d recommend you set up a separate install and import the dummy data to use as a reference. Its by far the best way to learn how to use things.

We’ll need to look at the site live to see why it isn’t working. The H1 and H2 should be done on the specific page(s) you want as there are a lot of different variations of h1 and h2 tags throughout the entire theme so a blanket change would be bad.

You’ll need to change the way the theme actually generates the archives. In the archive.php file replace:
get_template_part( 'includes/loop', 'index' );with
get_template_part( 'includes/loop', 'archive' );Then you can edit the archive loop to pull the excerpt instead of the_content like you had tried before.

If you are very new to working with premium themes or have never worked with one of Kriesi’s themes before the best thing to do would be to import the dummy data which will populate pages, posts, portfolio items and menus very similar to the demo site.
All shortcodes can be added using the Shortcodes button in the visual editor.

Move the Social menu from left to right and text area from right to left…just a swap.
I was given the following code by your support to place on the CSS and we tried placing it in both the Quick CSS and Custom CSS and none worked. Here is the code:

Dear Devin,
The option of “Feature Image” under screen options was gone. I could revert back to Eunoia and see the feature image option and have the feature image again.
But I did find the plugin that was interfering in Enfold: SuperSlider-Media-Pop. So it is now deactivated and I can select and edit my Featured image once again.
