You can use shortcodes in the layerslider html field. They just won’t show up on the slider preview page but they will show up on the frontend/website. However I noticed that most shortcodes won’t scale properly if you re-size the slider – thus you may break the responsive layout of the website if you embed forms or big buttons with the shortcodes into the slider.
You can remove the hover effect with following css code – insert it into the quick css field

Ich habe das Enfold Update dann noch mal per FTP hochgeladen. Danach war zum Glück alles wieder da.

Can you please try to install the latest version of Enfold (v2.3+). I asked Kriesi to remove all -webkit-perspective, etc. rules which are not necessary for newer versions of Chrome and the update 2.3 should fix your issue.

It should be there by now. Please download Enfold 2.3 then update the theme again. Remove browser cache then reload the page. Go to Enfold > Theme Options. Below, the Import dummy data, you’ll see a blue button which says “Import Parent Theme Settings”.

1.) It doesn’t matter if you set it as Shop Base Page. It will work like a normal shop page.
2.) You can’t add a layerslider on a single product page.

Is there a quick method for disabling media queries below a certain resolution?
I’d like to use the ‘responsive layout large 1210px’ setting and keep media queries functional for desktops/tablets, but remove/disable the mobile resolutions.
I’m using a child theme and wander if there’s a simple way to do this (without having to make many edits to the parent theme css/markup, which would be hard to maintain when updating)

the Image becomes oversize
All of a sudden my logo and Home menu links do NOT link to the page identified in the Enfold Frontpage Settings field. In fact, changing this field to any page does not produce any change, meaning clicking the logo does not change to the new page identified in that field. I have that field set to the Homepage currenlty. I did recently change permalinks to the Postname setting. Changing it back to defaul does NOT correct the issue, so I’m not sure if it was the source of the problem to begin with.
Has anyone else had this occur?
In the General Setting » Blog Style theme options, I don’t see anything for the “Blog Single Author Fullwidth” style that appears on the theme demo. My site only keeps showing the blog like the “Blog Single Author Big” example on your demo. Even if I designate the page to have no sidebar, it does.
Where is the “fullwidth” option on the dashboard/backend? Or how do I otherwise get it?
I am operating on WP version 3.6.1 and Enfold version 2.3.1.

edit: Using the \9 trick in the Quick CSS box somehow strips the \. I had to use \\. It’s now targeting IE8.
Should this hack be necessary in the first place?
What about the other issues I identified?

The update is already available and if you have entered your username and api key in your backend at enfold->updates it will show up automatically within the next 12 hours.
If you want to manually trigger the theme check process simply go to your dashboard->updates page

KriesiPS: The topic had two main problems. icons not appearing (easily fixed by deleting your browser cache) and the problem with the av_font_icon shortcode. (fixed with version 2.3.1) so I am closing it for now. If you experience any problems that are not fixed by one of these solutions please create your own thread with link to your installation ;)

2) Please go to Enfold > Theme options > Google Analytics Tracking Code and see if “http://diaarts.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=avia#” is added there. If so, just remove it.

1. You are using a Mega menu, uncheck this checkbox when editing the Menu:
2. It look’s like it’s an extra line added to the footer.php file, updating the theme will fix it.

You can go to ThemeForest and login with the account you purchased Enfold and download it manually from “Downloads” section then try to update it via FTP

YigitI saw in your suggestions on the themeforest site for the update to replace the entire Enfold folder on the server. Is this better than just using the “Theme Updates” tab within the “Enfold Theme Options”?

I’m using Enfold with a client – the client was insistent on using Instabuilder to create some of the content on their site.
It looks like some of Enfold’s CSS is interfering with the Instabuilder’s ability to be responsive
Example of it scaling incorrectly.
