    A link to your website will help. Please deactivate all plugins then try again. Do you have Enfold 2.3? Please revert the default settings on Settings > Reading.

    hi there,
    i am making a multi language website (English and Arabic) for English language i have no problem, but for Arabic language I need to ask you:

    1- i need to install word press tow times in diffident folders so can i use your Enfold theme two times also for one website? ( one time for English and other time for Arabic?

    2- dose your theme support Arabic language (right to left) ? tables , buttons , menu … etc should be right to left align

    3- do you have any theme specialized in Clinics or hospitals with appointment booking system?

    Ey Yigit thanks for come in.
    I’ve move to the child theme and I was able to place the code GTranslate. All works Ok, Enfold Theme updated and working fine.

    The only thing is that this issue: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/flickering-header-logo-and-nav-bar/
    Not was fixed with the update. It looks like mastcharter user had a different issue than me and now that topic is closed.
    Will be good to reopen that topic, continue there and close this, I think ☺

    Can you tell me please if you experience the same issue than me with the double Nav Bar. If you not experience in your browser, please see the attached video of the other topic.

    Thanks, Ismael, I had thought it would have been in the last one since the post I linked predated it, but I will try this.

    Quick question — Is there a way to update Enfold automatically without overwriting all my settings? I created a child theme, but I’ve already used my Enfold settings to create a lot of custom design settings. I know that auto-updates were a problem in the past, but I wasn’t sure if the overwriting issue had been addressed. My main section of the site (default language) is 2.2, but I just realized that other areas of the site have earlier versions of Enfold installed.

    I have Enfold installed in multiple parts of my site (13 language / translation sections + separate installs for the blog section of the site, the news section of the site and the press releases section of the site). That is 16 instances of Enfold where I have to manually update each file and folder that needs to be done, and updates are rather frequent. Any advice on updating would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

    Hallo

    Ich bin am verzweifeln. Ich habe zwar schon angefragt bekomme aber von Euch keine Antwort mehr.
    Und zwar ist der Editor blockiert. Ich kann keine Posts mehr erfassen oder ändern. Auch bei den meisten pages habe ich Probleme und fasse auch nichts mehr an.

    Ich habe WordPress neu installiert, habe es auch mit Enfold 2.3.1 versucht. Vergeblich.
    Das Deaktivieren der Plugins hat auch keinen Erfolg gebracht.

    Mit anderen Themes funkioniert es. Wenn ich wieder zu Enfold zurück wechsle sehe ich den Blog Beitrag, sobald ich aber ich aber oben rechts auf Text resp. Visual klicke ist wieder alles blockiert.
    Dasselbe ist mit anderen “Manipulationen” wie zurücksetzen der Permalinks etc. Es zeigt den Text einmalig an, dass ist es wieder weg.

    Ich habe das Problem mit versierten Programmierern/Wordpress Spezialisten angeschaut. Nichts hilft.

    Hi,
    I’ve started to use the WP FullCalendar plug-in to display events, and the full calendar isn’t working correctly – the events within each day are showing up as a single grey line. If I change theme from Enfold to say Twenty-Thirteen, the calendar behaves as expected.

    I found a post on the WP FullCalendar forum (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/events-showing-up-as-thin-gray-lines), that says, they use the jQuery’s ThemeRoller CSS. – whatever that is!?? And that it works with most themes out there.

    I’m at a loss for how to resolve this – I’ve disabled all my other plug-ins, and they do not make any difference.

    Any ideas? I’m using the latest versions of WP, Enfold and Full Calendar.

    Did the update to Enfold 2.3.1. Icons are still missing on startpage, now in every browser on my Mac with 10.6.8. FF, Safari, Chrome, Sware: Either simply unvisible or silly placeholders. Everything o.k. on subpages!?

    You have this:

    .main_menu {
padding-top: 5px;
}

    Which adds the padding on the menu even when its scrolled. The quick fix is to just add this css after it to remove the padding when its scrolled:

    .header-scrolled .main_menu {
padding-top: 0px;
}

    For the iPad hover, not that I know of. Its a browser function to mimic mouse overs.

    Hey Ismael thanks for the reply. That’s great for the alignment but what about my first problem of the icon not looking like it should do.
    here is what it should look like

    but mine has two problems
    1) the plus symbol is much thinner
    2) it has a circular a white border ?
    i just want the plus symbol exactly as it shows in the entypo library

    Now I also have a new problem, I’ve updated to the latest Enfold from 2.2 to 2.3 and now I cannot change icons at all only the font size ?
    I’ve added the same code to the new base.css file and have tried various things with the 2295 adding U in front etc

    With the update do we need to change more than those two lines now ?

    Please go to Enfold theme options > General Settings and change Blog Style to Single Author, big Preview pic.

    Hello incredible!

    Did you update to 2.3.1 by the Theme Update within the theme options or manually? Can you try re-downloading the theme files from your downloads on ThemeForest and then updating the theme files over FTP manually just to make sure there was no accidental file corruption on the last upload. Specifically the config-templatebuilder folder and all contents inside.

    Hey!

    After some debugging I found the css rule which seems to break the meno for IE8 users. Try to add following code to the quick css field

    
.main_menu .menu li a { max-width:none; }

    and remove the hack I posted above to make sure that the code works for you.

    Dear all,
    a very generic question how to use the template.
    Most of the time I have content that is organized hierarchical by region and subregion, e.g.
    a) Toscana
    – a1 Florence
    – a2 Pisa
    – a3 Siena
    – …
    b) Bretagne
    – b1…

    I want to have an article
    …/toscana/
    with some subpages like
    …/toscana/florence/
    …/toscana/pias/
    …
    or
    …/toscana/florence.php
    …/toscana/pisa.php
    …
    Those pages should somewhat be capsuled within the region.

    And of course the navigation should also be possible in a hierarchical way
    a) top navigation on landing page is about the regions
    – toscana
    – bretagne
    – …
    b) within the regions (toscana / bretagne,…) of course the users should just have the possibility to navigate within the regions cities (florence, pisa, …) and up the hierarchy

    What usage of the enfold-template would you suggest to implement a site like that?

    @kasperdue     your website looks fine on my end in Chrome, Firefox and IE. Can you post a screenshot from Safari?

    @lucyziel     on your website button color is different and slider does not appear on my end. Can you try and update your theme to version 2.3?

    I experience the same misbehaviour of the top menu on IE. The above hints don’t provide a solution to me.

    Hi all,

    putting together a new website, i’m starting to have fun with Enfold.

    I’m asking here, after a couple of unsuccessful searches, what could be the best ways to optimize the backend.

    I’m using WP on the same server with other themes (Atahualpa for instance, already pretty heavy), and i can notice quite a large difference, the backend of the one with Enfold is at least twice longer to load when i’m switching between sections of the admin interface.

    using W3TC looks like to be pretty efficient on the frontend, but as I still have a lot of work on the build of the website, I would like to optimize the backend in order to have a better experience.

    Topic: Move Scroll Button Location

    The scroll to the top button is a great feature in Enfold but I believe it will be a point of frustration for many of my readers. I’ve noticed that the button stays in the same size and in the same location even when on a mobile device and I can imagine it is easy to bump sitting out more in the middle of the screen on devices with smaller screens such as iPhones.

    Is it possible to move the location of the scroll button to the very edge of the window? Meaning it is always at the very bottom left corner of the screen instead of slightly out?
