Hello Support Team! I’ve noticed recently that YouTube videos embedded as part of a color section module no longer play and throw an error:

I’ve posted a link to a page this is happening on in the private content section (but I have a couple with the same treatment).
These pages have been functioning perfectly for years with no change to the code (or my browser settings) at all so I’m not sure what the issue is. Wondering if it happened after the last Enfold update? (these aren’t pages I usually check after the updates)
That said, I’ve done some debugging and found this. Sense it could be a cookie issue:
1. I’m using Chrome and across two different computers (iMac, MBPro), I get the error. Clear cache, cookies on browser AND through my website backend doesn’t help
2. When I change the cookie setting on my browser to block 3rd party cookies, everything works fine. See settings screenshot: https://snipboard.io/lgVjhJ.jpg
3. I’ve tried to access the page from other people’s computers in my household and they seem to be able to view it ok but most of their Cookie settings are set to: “Allow all cookies”. Strangely when I set “Allow all cookies” on either of my computers I get the same original playback error message (even when not logged in to WP-Admin.
4. If I open the page in an incognito window, it DOES work (no matter what the browser cookie settings are set to).
I’ve searched through your support forums and see other people have recently (and suddenly) experienced the same issue but none of the suggestions made seem to have resolved it. I’ve tried some of the same suggestions with no success.
I’m concerned this is happening to visitors of my site who believe they have their cookie settings set correctly and have similarly not changed them.
Any insight from your end? Please help!

So I took inspiration from the Enfold Gym demo theme and put
<strong></strong>on all punctuations to have them bolded and colored.However, ever since I made this CSS code the punctuations remain bolded but are not colored anymore:

I manage a website but I wasn’t the one who developed it in the first place.
Looks like I’m having a problem in a while now, with your “enfold”. (check logs bellow).
I’ve made a small test and manually changed the template in the database and the website came back to live (of course with a messy layout).The reason I’m contacting you is because after search on the web, I found other people with the same problem. Their solution would be, remove the template and upload it again.
Well since I haven’t bought the template, i’m not able to download it and upload again.So my question to you is, since this is was not a problem directly related to our site, is there any cheap option to get the template (or just a few files) that can fix my problem, even if i need to do it manually?

Hi,
I am trying to use Search and Filter Pro on Masonry linked to portfolio entries. The Masonry has been created with the Avia Editor and the Search Filter embedded on a column.
I have contacted their support and I’ve been told to set up the Ajax Container to .av-masonry-container but when I apply the filter the Masonry disappears.
Can you help or this plugin is not officially been implemented and tested with Enfold?

1: No, i cant migrate this one to a life server since i have already at least 4 life-areas (two für marcusjeroch and another two for jeroch-verlag). Sorry.
We need to troubleshoot it this way
2: Yes, it is a fresh one, the installation was from scratch and no imports have been done on this one.
But i started with this project almost 1,5 years ago and since then there have been quite some themeupdates.
Fact: I added price icons on a lot of pages, now there are “invisible” musical notes…and it happened at the same time.
and as far as i remember it happened around the same date when Enfold had that well known issue with the sharing buttons coming up with one of your last updates.
Maybe you should research in this direction?Question:
What icon do you see if you add the code i gave you into one of your installations?
Or other: Whats the icon ue800 supposed to print out?Marcus

Please try Contact Form DB for Enfold, I have tested it and seems to work properly.
It’s a bit old but you can still search it in the Plugins tab.

Yes, you have some permission issues, please make sure the token has the following permissions enabled:
- View and search Envato sites (checked by default)
- View your Envato account username
- View your email address
- View your account profile details
- Download your purchased items
- Verify purchases of your item
- List purchases you’ve made

now, I would like to insert the “search” icon in the header, on click it opens a popup with the search field. how can I do? could you help me please? if not possible with enfold, could you please suggest me a plugin?

My site was built at least 6-7 years ago with an old version of Enfold. I had a lot of problems updating everything (plugin, themes, PHP server, WordPress, etc) and received a lot of fatal error but I finally succeeded ! But with all the updates and server changes my site was very messed up, the design was broken and some content was lost. I spent a lot of time trying to put everything back in place but there are still some elements that I am no longer able to fix. So, here is a list of the problems to be solved: your help would be greatly appreciated!
1- Home page. (Vestiges – Bijoux préhistoriques )
I had a 5 product grid displayed on the home page. Since the update the grid no longer works. There should be 5 products wide per 2 row and not have a description and price visible.2- Before the bug, the “Product page” had 4 columns and now there are 3. I searched everywhere but couldn’t find where to specify it. Also, the pop up to display 15-30-45 products should be hidden. Also is it possible to choose options for the sort menu? (keeping 2 options like price and date because other is not relevant)
3- The main menu (Everywhere on the site) must be a little higher (+16 pixels towards the top) and there was also a line on top that disappeared. See attached image for sample.
4- In the individual product page, the price $ should be a little bigger and the title a little smaller. See attached image.
HTTPS problems:
5- It seems that my site has been converted to HTTPS by my host in the last few years but I was not aware. Now I try to open the site with HTTPS and the security lock is broken. After some research I saw that it could be because of the image or links in the page that are not HTTPS.So I changed the links and images in my pages, one by one. It seems to work because the padlock is intact afterwards in some pages. On the other hand, there is certain element that I cannot change in the pages directly. I have a problem with the up and down arrow in all pages:

Hi,
e.g If they search for a name, I want it to fint the contact under Kontakt -> Medarbeidere.
The search starts to look for keyword relevance in the post or page title before doing search in the post content, so posts that actually contains that name or keyword will go into the results first. Searching for a specific name from a particular page content may not work as intended. You may need to re-index the search table and keywords, and adjust Minimum word length value from the default 3 characters to a longer one for a more refined search.
You could also try the SearchWP plugin. Please check the following documentation for more info.

You could also set a custom footer page in the Enfold > Footer > Default Footer & Socket Settings. Set it to the 5th or 6th option (Select a page to display as footer and socket).
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. thank you. I also tried it with Quick CSS and “! important”, but it’s the same problem as via custom style.css: The Raleway Font doesn’t work with font weight 800 oder 900. If I understand Victoria right, the Raleway Font is not included with all existing styles in the Enfold Theme.The Problem is: The settings of the Avia Layout Architect allow to combine each font family with each font weight – and then in the front end you have the surprise
a) whether it’s existing AND
b) whether it’s embedded in the ENFOLD Theme.I started a new search in the support forum for the Raleway problem and found the solution to just upload missing styles via the Import-/Export-function of the Avia Layout Architect.
The public can access the home page but it is not being indexed by Google etc.
Ryte.com report: 403 – Forbidden
The request was a valid request, but the server is refusing to respond to it. Unlike a 401 Unauthorized response, authenticating will make no difference.Other pages are being indexed.

1) The CSS works for the white space reduction on my custom Shop Page (using avia builder).
2) SHOP PAGE (using avia builder)
I added the element shortcode to my child functions.php. The widget appears below the menu, but above my avia slideshow, which is not what I want. The widget area has to be below the slideshow on the Shop Page.3) CATEGORY AND PRODUCT PAGE
In the category and product page, the widget also appears below the menu. Like the Custom Shop Page, the widget stretches across the entire page width.Is there a CSS code I could use to fix the issue? There are 2 widgets in the widget area, but only the product categories are viewable. The Product Search widget cannot be seen.
The links and admin login are in private content.
4) What I want to achieve using the Enfold Shop Page Template is
a) Shop Page
– An avia slideshow to replace the header banner
– 3 widgets in the widget area above the avia slideshow and below the product grid, which I understand is not possible, unless I edit the template.b) Category Page is the same as the Shop Page, avia slideshow + 3 widgets in the widget area
I was not able to use the Enfold Page Template so I opted to create a Custom Shop Page using the avia builder.
Any help in resolving the issues is much appreciated.

I have a problem with my mobile hamburger menu too, it’s not showing the links in it, it’s empty, it’s only showing the exit X and the search icon :-(
I found it out, cause somebody mentioned it luckily…I already tried this:
– Caching (I don’t have a plugin, I have Kinsta as a provider which caches for the clients, Rikard knows)
– Disabling all plugins
– Taking away all quick CSS
– Trying the mobile site on an incognito browser
– Looked at the ‘Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css)’ but that’s pretty basic and ’empty’ besides standard things
– I disabled the CSS file merging and compression and Javascript file merging and compression options on my site under Enfold->PerformanceCan you help me with this?

Holy hell, it would be good if your “How to register a google maps API key” article actually mentioned that you need to enable Maps JavaScript AND Geocoding API.
Nowhere does it mention that you have to enable these.
I figured that enabling Maps APIs would make sense by myself, but I was only searching for “Maps”, and getting really confused why it was still throwing some errors.
Turns out it was the Geocoding API that needed to be activated as well. I had no idea what this was or why I needed it, hence not even looking for it.
Please update your documentation to reflect this – it might save others hours of troubleshooting….

I am trying to get a large site up and running under Enfold from a previous theme. I have a number of Formidable Pro forms/views. One important one is not painting correctly and only showing the first two columns of data. You can view the correct display of the form here:

The legend and the first two columns come out correctly. The subsequent columns which are a combo of dates, CSS checkboxes, x’s and circles, do not.
I have searched the forum for related topics but there are so many formidable/enfold issues, that it is difficult to know what keywords to seek.

Topic: Classic Editor Lifespan
Hello all,
I did some minimal searching, but didn’t see anything pop out at me, so I figured I’d open up a dialogue on this topic…
From everything I’ve read, WP will be discontinuing support for their Classic Editor at the end of 2021, and I wanted to see if/how that will affect the option to use the classic editor feature in Enfold.
I’m guessing I’m not the only one who despises Guttenburg/Block Editing, and was curious if there were plans for the Classic Editor to still be available to use once WP removes their support.
In addition, has anyone tried using https://www.classicpress.net/ as an alternative? It seems like it might be a viable option, but I’m not certain the longevity of support for the Enfold theme and 3rd party plugins, etc.
Appreciate any thoughts/discussion and feedback on this!

Does not work. If the page is saved in Draft, it is not displayed in the “Page Content” :(>…or if the page is published, then you can select for search engines not to index it using a plugin like Yoast SEO.
maybe this works … but considering that I use “Templates” heavily it would be too complicated, replace the use of “Templates” with “Page Content” … also the pages published and used for “Page Content”, even if not tracked by google, they would still be visible to the public.Please consider considering implementing something that looks like “Global Templates”.

Even after installing jQuery-migrate the hamburger menu is not showing in the website I’m building. Even changing the parameters in the “main menu” option of the theme settings doesn’t work. For example, when set to icon (hamburger) menu on desktop, still text shows “visible”; also the search icon will not disappear, when set to “turned-off”.
I have another website where it works fine with WP 5.6 and Enfold 4.7.6.4 and without jQuery-migrate.Regards,

Enfold is awesome, and if you just keep updating it, this theme will have a very long life. The improvement I’d like to see is a re-working of ENFOLD > General Styling. Customizing anything in this area is a guessing game. For example, how would I change the background color of a search box? Only trial-and-error will tell, if you have that much time. Also, we all need better burger menus for mobile. A little work here would go a long way.

How can I set the search symbol that way the it shows part of the text of the search word. In my case it shows only the headline and than you habe to scroll the whole page to find the searched context. would be great if also the link to the #partofpage

Thanks for the update. It’s better if you use a dedicated 404 page, otherwise your home page will always return a 404 error message to search engines for example. If you want to copy your home page, then you can enable debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode, then simply copy all the shortcodes to your new 404 page.
