That is actually expected behaviour when Google reCaptcha cookies are refused. Have you tried choosing “All cookies and services are accepted on first page load, user can opt out” in Enfold theme options > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behaviour?

Your Enfold version is not compatible with WordPress version you are using. In your case, yes, you would need to purchase a new license – https://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990 to update the theme. Since you are using a very old version, you would need to update via FTP – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp. Then you can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token to insert in Enfold theme options to receive future updates in WP dashboard.

You should not experience any issues but you might need to re-configure some settings such as header and widget areas. To be on the safe side, please create a testing environment and update the theme there :)

I went to Enfold theme options > Performance and disabled “Load jQuery in your footer” and that helped. We will look further into it.

@kesdeg If they accepted cookies prior to adding products to cart, they should not have such issue. But if they added items to cart and then accepted cookies, cart would be reset.

As i mentioned above, we are going to add a new option “Accept essential cookies on pageload, user must opt in for other cookies.” in upcoming version.
