You are currently using a very old version of Enfold.

Envato has updated their API and discontinued API keys and replaced them with Personal Tokens instead. We have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5 therefore any Enfold version older than 4.5 needs to be updated manually – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp. After updating the theme, you can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive future updates.

Enfold is a multi-purpose WordPress theme as you can see from the category it is in as well – https://imgur.com/a/WVYy6qO
There are multi-purpose HTML templates, multi-purpose WordPress themes, multi-purpose Joomla themes etc. and “multi-purpose” here does not mean it can be used on all content management systems or platforms but it means that it does not only serve a certain purpose, such as e-commerce, but multi-purpose so you can create your blog, e-commerce.. basically anything you have in mind :)

You can contact Envato support and request a refund however it might get rejected if you already downloaded the theme.

You are currently using a very old version of Enfold and updating it to the latest version 4.7.2 would fix the issues you are having. To access updated theme files, you would need access to ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme. If you are unable to contact previous developers, unfortunately only way is purchase a new license.

If mobile menu does not show up on mobile after update, please check if header.php file is modified in child theme. In case it is, you would need to update that file as well. We can provide you Enfold 3.8 so you can compare files :)

I came up with a better solution as currently there is a z-index issue.

Please delete the code you added to display widget area in header and add following one to functions.php file instead

add_action('ava_before_footer', 'av_add_footer_content');
function av_add_footer_content(){
	dynamic_sidebar( 'header' );
}

Then you can inspect elements to find your widget ID – https://imgur.com/a/BaPagcQ and use custom CSS code as following (widget ID in my case is “custom_html-6”)

#custom_html-6 {
    position: fixed;
    bottom: 0;
    z-index: 2;
    width: 100%;
}
