Hey grwebs,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.6.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,
RikardHi Jochen,
I checked your site again just now, but I still can’t see any problems on my end. Could you let us know under which circumstances you are seeing this problem please?
Best regards,
RikardHi Rob,
I would consider 4.8.6.2 a stable version, but you might want to update on a staging version of the site first, just to make sure you don’t run into any problems.
Best regards,
RikardHey Eugenio,

Thanks for the login details. I’m not sure which h2 element you are referring to though, could you post a link to an example page please?

RikardHey erdebene,
I’m guessing that you don’t need help, since you have removed the content of your post. I’ll close this thread for now, please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.

Thanks for the update and clarification. I do see the problem on your actual site, but I can’t reproduce it on a test installation. Could you try disabling all plugins, to see if that makes any difference please?

RikardAugust 28, 2021 at 4:54 am in reply to: Background images content section disappeared/not displayed after update #1318739Hi byallmeans,
Thanks for that. I cleared the cache from your caching plugins, then check the front page, and the background image looks to be working in the second section on the page. Could you verify that on your end please?

RikardHey navindesigns,
You can wrap your CSS in a media query, so that it only applies above a specific pixel width:
@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) { Your custom CSS goes here }If that is not what you are looking for, then please try to explain the problem a bit further. Screenshots might help us understand what you are looking to achieve as well.

Thanks for the update. You should be able to do that with the Content Slider element, please try it out. If you need more specific help with styling for example, then let us know here.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. I checked the logs on the page in private, but I can’t see anything theme related in there. Which version did you update from, when this problem started happening? We can try to roll your site back to an earlier version, to see if that helps.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. So you want to add your anchor links to the main menu, under Steuern? If so then you can do that under Appearance->Menus, create a custom link there, then add it to your menu.

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardHi,
Thanks for the update. I checked your front page on both the front and backend, but I can’t see any real problems. I can see some white text on white background, is that the problem you are referring to? If so, then please let us know how you would like to change that. If that is not the problem, then please try to explain it a bit further, or post screenshots highlighting it.
Best regards,
RikardHi,

RikardHey 118group,
Thanks for the login details. Do we need to update the theme in order to see these error messages? Did you try to disable all plugins before you perform the update? It might be a good idea if you copy the site to a staging site, so that we can see the actual error message there.
Best regards,

RikardAugust 27, 2021 at 6:15 am in reply to: All Enfold sites crash because of wrong CSS MIME type #1318573Hi conflock,
You are the only user having this problem, that I’m aware of. The filter which Ismael posted has worked for all other users, where the new folder structure which was added in 4.8.4, does not have the correct file permissions. We can help you to roll back to 4.8.3 if you like, or you can use the files in private. If you need help with rolling back, then we would need FTP details as well, and a verification that you have backups of your site.
I would recommend that you update on a staging site first in the future. If you do, then you will never introduce problems on your live site, and you won’t need panic solutions either.
Best regards,
RikardHi,
I can’t see any problems on my end, the mobile menu is working as it should. If you need further help, then please check the login details you sent, as they are not working anymore. I don’t have any caching solution to recommend, you would have to try different ones to see what works on your site. You might want to reach out to their support as well, if the problem is caused by your caching plugin.

RikardAugust 27, 2021 at 6:02 am in reply to: Enfold contact form / text block – Warning …HTML markup..special characters… #1318571Hey Bkag,
The htaccess login details are working, but the WordPress details are not. Please check and verify.
The message you are referring to was added to alert users to close their html tags properly, since open html markup can break the layout builder, and content can disappear because of it. It sound like that is what happened on your site.
Best regards,
RikardHi Jay,
Thanks for the update. I really don’t know why you are getting those errors, but it might be related to the auto save function in WordPress. That is just me guessing though, I don’t really have proof for that. Anyway, I created a new test page and copied the content over from the pages with the errors, and the errors disappear after that, please see private.
I know you said that you want to use the Gutenberg editor, but it might be a good idea to try and set it to the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options, for testing purposes. You could also try installing this plugin, which would enable you to delete WordPress transients: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/
Best regards,
RikardHey Sabine,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
div.av-xtbv-2a1cb4f0485cd7b5890ad13c5f5845f4 { text-align: center; } div.av-xtbv-2a1cb4f0485cd7b5890ad13c5f5845f4 .av_font_icon, div.av-xtbv-2a1cb4f0485cd7b5890ad13c5f5845f4 .av_font_icon a { display: inline; }Best regards,
