Hi,

Thanks for that. It’s not possible to navigate anywhere on the backend though, since something is asking to set up 2FA login. Could you turn that off for now please?

Hi,

The theme does not turn of file editing in WordPress, it’s likely done by your hosting provider. Please try reaching out to them.

The footer is working as expected in the version you are updating to, are you sure that you are not overriding footer.php and/or header.php in your child? Please note that there are two files you need to check for.

What kind of login do you need to inspect the problem?
Admin-rights for the backend or login to FTP?

Hey John,

Are you adding your images using the default WordPress editor? If so, then it will give you an option to add a caption while you are adding it. If that is not what you are looking to do, then please try to explain your intentions a bit further.

Hi,

Are you overriding header.php and/or footer.php on the sites with footer problems? If so, then please replace those files with the parent theme files and add your customisations back in after that.

I’m not sure about the menu though, that is not something we have seen on our test installations, and it hasn’t been reported by other users either. If you need further help with that, please provide us with more information.

The update to 5.6.6 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
