    Hello Support Team,
We are considering transferring our current website, to the Enfold template. (See link to our website in private content)
As we plan this migration, we would like to ensure a seamless transition to the Enfold template while maintaining our current SEO ranking on Google. Our main focus is on restructuring our menu to incorporate a multilevel menu, which we believe will improve navigation and user experience on our website.
While making these changes, our priority is to retain all existing URLs to avoid any negative impact on our SEO score and Google ranking.
Given your expertise, we kindly ask for your guidance on the best practices for achieving these objectives. We would appreciate any practical recommendations or step-by-step instructions you could provide to assist us.
If there are any specific tools, plugins, or resources that you recommend for this type of migration, please do share them with us. We’re committed to a smooth transition and want to make sure we follow best practices.

We value your technical expertise and any insights you can offer. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

    Hey pnamroud,

Your current menu looks like a standard menu, so I don’t think that you will run into any problems if you should switch to Enfold. We don’t have any specific tools or plugins for transferring current sites to Enfold unfortunately. I would recommend that you transfer the site in a staging area first of all, then push it live.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Thank you Rikard for your prompt response.
Our concern is more about the SEO side of the migration. If I have to rephrase the question:
currently one of the pages is accessible and stored in Goggle index as: http://www.site.com/blog/page_name.
After we move to the new Enfold based site, we want the same permalink to remain as we cannot afford a change in the hyperlink, since it will lower ranking.

That is the concern we are looking for you advise on the best way to approach

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. The theme won’t change your permalinks unless you actively do so yourself.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
