That’s normal and applies to all themes with a bundled plugin – when a premium plugin like Layer Slider is included with a theme you cannot update it via Themeforest/Codecanyon but have to wait for an theme update….
If you don’t want this you could buy an additional licenceSorry! Got it working again. Some 3rd Party Plugin (simple shortcodes) caused the problem. Fixed it….

in 3.0 you not only have the choice between 1030 and 1210 but you can adapt the width in the settings dialog. Just enter 1210 there…

Using youtube works well. I´ll have to find out how to increase quality of the video as it seams that the youtube version is low quality…

I checked your link in Safari. The problems are almost the same.(takes very long time to load before the video is starting and then stuttering). The only difference is, that the blocky artefacts are not showing up.best regards,

no website to show so far, I need to solve this issue first… I want to create a site for a musician with a lot of projects – what I saw is that with blog posts you have this option (disable featured image for single page) but for projects (which – more or less – are also posts ) there is not such an option. So you have the same image in the portfolio grid and on the corresponding single page; I don’t want the featured image for projects to be shown…

Thank you for your help. I´m really sorry but I tried to fix the problem by my self meanwhile by replacing the self-hosted video with a youtube video because i have read that this may cause all the problems. I now have changed back to the original self-hosted video, so that you can see what i have meant. Sorry for that.
I swear i will not change it for at least 3 days ;-)the video i am going to use will be purchased from shutterstock. (now it´s just a preview)
So isn´t it a copyright issue to put that on youtube for everyone???QUICK SOLUTION: switch to Standard Editor and then back to AVIA Layout builder….
I have the same problem – when I open an existing page the avia builder is not loading, you just see the spinner icon.
If you switch to the standard editor and then back the Avia builder loads.
This is a fresh installation without any migration, most recent WP and theme….

If you insert a text modul and then add a LayerSlider shortcode like [layerslider id=”2″] it works. But you have to disable “full width” in the LayerSlider options.
