Yesss – same problem. As soon as I enable the CSS file merging and compression, the body background image (to be set in “general styling”) disappears. The body background color is still working, but the structure, formed by the image vanishes. I tested in several of our websites. It is always the same.

thanx for the information. So the description for the Easy Slider is irritating. Would have safed me quite some time if it was clearer.
Anyway, meanwhile I am very happy with the full width slider except from one small optical thing: on height of the upper and of the lower edge of every image is a small grey line going over the full width of the screen (see attached screenshot). Is there a possibility to get rid of it?

I tried to implement the Easy Slider in a test website, and after it didn’ work I deleted it and replaced it so far with the Full Width Slide Show.
My idea was – after checking “No scaling (Original … )” in “choose the size of the image that loads into the slideshow” – that the slider would indeed keep my original image sizes. But it did not. Every image was about 1.000 px wide, even the ones that were originally just 300 px wide. And also all other alternatives in “choose the size of the image that loads into the slideshow” did not have any result.By the way: searching your support forum I found one other enquiry with exactly the same problem, but it had not got a reply yet either.

HaraldAfter more and more research I found out why we talked on different tracks. The “wand icon” that is displayed on your screenshot does only show up if you use the standard editor. As soon as you switch to the extended layout-editor the “wand” looks much less extended. For example there is nothing like a “table option” anymore. I only see “Button”, “Fullwidth Button”, “Separator/Whitespace”, “Icon” and “Mitteilung” (Message). Nothing else.
I am not sure wether you are aware of this fact, but if, it would make sense to inform Enfold-users about that speciality. It would safe a lot of time – both sides.
Anyway, it took a little longer than necessarry, but my problem is solved now. Thank you for your help.
Aha…. !? And how do I generate the table shortcode?
Meanwhile I found out how to get the the html-code of a table (via Google Chrome “analyze element” and than just copy-paste it in the tabs content editor), but what is the secret of a table shortcode?

Sounds interesting. Could you explain this procedure a little bit more detailed? F.e. what meeans “shortcode wand”?

You’re of course right, it’s the title attribute!
I give you an example. Actually the problem exists on several websites with different domains, but all based on Enfold.Look at the Website http://www.high-school-australia.com/schools/elwood-college/ Now for example I try to set a link from the phrase ‘Elwood College’ to the website of the College. The link text should be “Elwood College”, so I write this phrase into the form area “Link Text”. I add the Link, and now the link in the text SHOULD show the phrase ‘Elwood College’ by hovering the mouse over the link. But it does not.
And it cannot, because if you go into the edit function of the text block you see what is written there:Set in a charming beachside suburb Elwood College is just 15 minutes from Melbourne.
What SHOULD be written is:
Set in a charming beachside suburb Elwood College is just 15 minutes from Melbourne.
Missing is the part: title=“Elwood College“
So again, if you have any idea, what could be the reason for that, it would be a graet help to know.

Hi Devin,
this is not a matter of satisfaction. Select fields that lead to validation errors are not marked by the red frame. This simply is a misfunktion or mistake or bug – however you want to call ist. Or am I wrong?
To be forced to switch to an alternate plugin means doing the same thing twice – and this is my time.
To keep it short: Is there a chance that this issue will be on your list or will the contact form stay like this?

Since we meanwhile have several updates per day,would it be possible to label them with the version number. It would be easier to see which is the latest one …
Hi Everybody,
I just updated to Enfold Version 1.6, removed picture, put it in again, emptied caches etc. and ….. nothing new with the mentioned problem: titles, alt-texts and even the description do not show up in pictures used in combination with the Avia Layout Builder although alternate text, caption, description and title are all filled out. So please could you go on attempting to find a solution for this quite important issue?
