Hi Ismael,
thanks for your reply. I’ve done what you said.
Which video should I watch. There was no link in your message?
Thanks! I’ll follow your instructions!
Take care,
Antonio
Also, the original blog page I am using from the dummy data doesn’t respond to the “show extracts with read more” only feature I assigned and it shows up the entire blogposts one after the other without the possibility to add any comment.
How do I solve that? Should I delete the blog page, make a brand new one and assign the modules within the Avia builder then put it on the menu?
Thanks
Yes! with Peter’s fix it now works! Awesome! Thanks!
Antonio
Nothing…
it doesn’t work even after resetting all the widgets…let me try Peter’ s fix and I’ll report on that ;-)
Hi Ismael,
yes, your code worked great on the homepage, which is why I tried to find the appropriate code for this other page. My mistake was that, as you wrote “home” in the code for the homepage, i changed “home” into “one-to-one-consulting” for this page, instead of the home id (1548).
Now it works also for this one and I understood what I have to change for future pages that may give the same behavior.
Awesome, 1000 thank you!!
What is not working yet is your workaround on my other topic, regarding the contact page not picking up the correct sidebar, which a few other guys are experiencing. I did as you suggested there but it doesn’t seem to change anything. It still gets stuck.
Regards,
Antonio
Hi Ismael,
your solution doesn’t work, unfortunately.
Any clue?
Regards,
Antonio
May 30, 2013 at 7:21 pm in reply to: Background Image Suddenly Disappeared from Homepage on Chrome (Ok on Firefox) #122088Absolutely Awesome! “Bravo”! :-) Problem solved.
Thanks guys! I just did it through Filezilla, by donwloading the new theme, unzip the Enfold theme folder and copy “only” that folder into the wp/content/theme folder.
It shows now version 1.5 and seems to be alright, although I haven’t really tested it yet, but I am on the site now, so I’ll find out ;-)
Ok, Thanks.
So I’ll be clearer for all the others like me because I had to think twice before understanding what you meant:
1- Inspect the body class for the current page with the promobox as per Ismael instructions (see Chrome).
2- locate the page id corresponding to the page you want to change the color of the promobox only (and not that of all the promoboxes in the entire site, or you will insert Dude’s general css code to do that – see above).
3 – then go to the Styling Options in Enfold Panel and insert the following code in the quick CSS field:
.page-id-XXX .main_color .av_promobox{
background: #fcfcfc;
}
where the XXX stands for the page id number.
Dear Ismael,
I have no clue of what you said…sorry but I am not a techy…could you be a bit clearer on what should I inspect what? I mean, what does “inspect the body class” mean and how do I perform such task?
“This will only change the promobox background color on page with the id 734″…what does it mean? does it means that my specific page has an id called 734? If so, how did you find out about that? I am not a coder, so I don’t understand what you mean…
Thanks.
Antonio
I think I found the issue and it may be useful for you to know. When I removed the information from within the “address for directions” and “info bubble content” inside the map widget, then save, the map responds to the zoom I set.
A bit weird, but it worked. ;-)
Antonio
Hi Dude,
thanks for your help. Where exactly do I find the “quick css field” in the promo box? When i click on the promobox and open up the options there is no such field.
I guess you probably mean the quick css field within enfold general style settings.
Is there a way to change the colour of just one promobox, not affecting all the others in the theme?
Thanks

Thanks, now it works!
May 17, 2013 at 6:09 pm in reply to: Adding AmazonS3 hosted videos and OptimizePress Shortcode? #119724I see. I am not familiar with iframe (don’t really know what that is and how to use it), thanks anyway.
I don’t know if you ever heard it or not, but OptimizePress is a WP theme created for sales pages and the like which has an infrastructure allowing self hosted videos on places like AWS3 to be embedded seamlessly. I use it for my membership site and it works great.
I just wondered whether it was possible to do that too in Enfolder, since your theme is so awesome.
You might want to investigate into AWS3 sooner or later, for it is much better than YouTube or Vimeo if you want videos to play fast, seamlessly and in a pretty professional way.
Thanks for the support anyway.
So the only way to have a video autoplay would be to use a layer or the text editor within the text block element and stuff the embed code which has the autoplay from Vimeo/Youtube?
Thanks
May 16, 2013 at 7:09 am in reply to: Currently experiencing lots of troubles with making changes and saving pages #119106HI Devin,
thank you so much for your explanations. I’ll try deactivate Jetpack, since I am not using it.
I was able to solve the issue with the Testimonials before you probably saw it, since I realized I had to insert a content block first, then insert the testimonial element within.
Not doing so produced the testimonial acting weird and juxtaposing over the icon boxes and being half cut off from the following section underneath.
So I still haven’t clearly understood when you can place an element by itself and when you need to place a content box first, then the element within instead…
I’ve been working all day on the page yesterday, which is why you possibly didn’t reproduce the issues on your end.
One thing I can’t fix at the moment is how to change the color of the top titles (or headline) of the sections within the footer / footer widget:
I would like to have them white, yet when I go to the styling panel within Enfold and select “Footer” I tried all different part to be “white”, yet I always get a blueish color which blends in very bad with the background color and makes it hard t read.
Any clue on that?
I am currently experimenting with the footer too, so I am trying different background, however the general headers always set colors automatically and not what I would want them to be (mainly white to come up from a colored background)
May 14, 2013 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Currently experiencing lots of troubles with making changes and saving pages #119104PS: Please take a look at the homepage:
Scroll down the main slider just enough to view the testimonial slider underneath and see how once the first testimonial slides to the second, the latter screws up the whole page. Note how the testimonial gets over the icon boxes…
Another strange behaviour is that if you stay on the page for around 30 sec to 1 min, then scroll up and down again you’ll notice that the testimonial gets cut off partly by the following section (“what can we do for you”).
Are these bugs or?
Thanks
Antonio
Awesome, Thank you Dude! I saw the code appearing in the preview rather than the actual button and was therefore afraid that adding the html didn’t work. I’ll try again now and see how it looks like when published!
Thank you
Antonio
Awesome, thank you Dude!
thx, Ismael!
Do I only need to upload the new, unzipped Enfolder file via FTP into the Theme folder of WP? Where do I see that the new version is installed correctly? I just did that (copied the new unzipped Enfol folder into WP Theme folder) and I still see the 1.3.1 version under Appearance–>themes in WP backend and I do not see the woocommerce or the new things? Do I also need to re-import the dummy data? If so, I renamed the “about” page because I am afraid I may lose that if I click on import dummy data again…
Besides, I did subscribe on day 1 on Themeforest to get notified of new updates and got no notification…I checked the spam folder and there was no email from Envato or Themeforest or whoever, so clearly something went wrong with the notification.
Any idea?
Thanks
PS: One last thing: is there a way to know when someone replied to your posts in this support forum? I don’t see any checkbox for that and so I don’t know if I get any reply unless I go back to it every now and then and sometimes I may forget what I wrote where… ;-)
Sorry for the truly silly question but where do I see that there is a new release of Enfold and update? I am running version 1.3.1. and within WP I don’t get any notification that there is a new release of the theme nor where do I go get it.
Also, I read somewhere here now that you need to do that via FTP. How do I make sure the pages I created are not overwritten by the new installation? I just created the “About page” so far, so I don’t risk to lose too much, but since I am not a techy it took me two days to do a really nice about page with animations, sliders and a few other things and I also loaded quite a few images in the gallery, so will I lose everything after I upgrade?
Thanks ;-)
