After having issues updating, I went to the themes section of WP and updated there. It worked just fine! It’s not the way I typically update themes, but it worked. Try it.

I regret to inform that I tried the same operation using the themes section theme update and it failed. Then I tried the other update options, and they all failed.
I will give it another go, and report back.

ik heb hetzelfde probleem
Ik installeerde de plug-in, ging toen naar mijn envato-account en downloadde het enfold-thema, maar toen ik het probeerde te uploaden kreeg ik het volgende bericht:
De link die je volgde is verlopen. Ik heb het een tijdje geprobeerd. Ik probeerde het op de volgende manier
1. Ik downloadde alleen het thema (themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme-wordpress-theme.zip)

Also please verify that you have backups of the site. If you could post in english then that would be helpful as well since we don’t have any dutch speakers on the team.

@spacenotation: Did she register to this forum after purchasing the theme? Please ask her for the purchase code, which is what’s required in order to create an account in this forum. It also serves as a verification that she actually bought the theme from Themeforest and not anywhere else.

Hi – I’m having problems updating from Enfold 3.8.4 – I’ve downloaded the .zip file and installed the “Update… from Zip File” plugin, but when I go to Add Theme / Upload Theme, choose the .zip file and click on Install Now, I just get “Waiting for response from [domain name]”. Please help! Thank you –

Hi Victoria – Can you please solve my problem @1071388? Since I moved this website to the latest version of WordPress, I have been unable to edit it, and it no longer opens on iOS machines. I suspect that the reason is that Enfold needs to be updated, but I cannot get the updater to work. I cannot continue to use Enfold if I cannot solve this problem. This is my third request.
