‘Load More’ button for portfolios and blog :-)
August 9, 2013 at 2:45 pm #114778Hi, Noticed that there is no ‘Audio’ Format available in the Enfold theme for Posts.
Made these changes in the ‘functions.php’ file:
/*
* add post format options
*/
add_theme_support( ‘post-formats’, array(‘link’, ‘quote’, ‘gallery’,’video’,’image’,’audio’) );
Now I see the ‘Audio’ Format available for Posts but after choosing this format, the Post ‘Title’ looses its normal formatting. Meaning it doesn’t show in the CENTER, nor is it BOLD and doesn’t LINK to the Post; like all other Post Titles.
FIX for the above in the next version would be really nice…
August 9, 2013 at 4:35 pm #114779Add me to the list of users wanting a masonry layout.
August 10, 2013 at 8:39 am #114780I add this topic at the recommendation of Nick (thread “Can I use the navigation arrows for each category, not all?”)
If someone selects a category, and then clicks inside that category a single post, the prev/next-arrows do not navigate inside that category.
There exists a small (5 kb) plugin wich would solve this problem. But is hard to integrate this plugin into the theme.
It would be very helpful, if there would be any possibility to browse inside a category.
August 10, 2013 at 8:43 am #114781Hey,
@kommbuero: You can actually do it by editing function-enfold.php, find this code:
if(!function_exists('avia_post_nav'))
{
function avia_post_nav($same_category = false)Set it to true:
if(!function_exists('avia_post_nav'))
{
function avia_post_nav($same_category = true)Regards,
Ismael
August 10, 2013 at 11:14 am #114782I also request the following:
A deeplinking feature for the AJAX portfolio ;) I would love to link to specific portfolio items from any page of my website.
It would be cool if we could link to a extended ajax portfolio item.
August 10, 2013 at 1:38 pm #114783Hi Ismael,
the code above, sets the category-browsing in every case. I mean that an user should stay in a category, only if he chooses that category before, not in general.
For Example: Someone starts in the main blog-page, where all posts are listed. Then he wants, that clicking at the next- or previous-arrows leads him through all posts. But if he selects before a specific category, he expected, that the arrows guide him only through the posts in the selected category. The plugin ‘smarter-navigation’ remembers, if someone comes from a category-archive or not, and from wich category he comes.
Regards,
Günter
August 12, 2013 at 6:07 am #114784Hi,
Enfold is a theme that I really appreciate, especially the integration with WPML.
But it requires too many resources to run.
Enfold + WPML, no other plugins active: 256 Mbytes?
Theme “Choices” + WPML + WooCommerce + WooCommerce Multilingual + WooCommerce Print Invoices & Delivery Notes + WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers + WooCommerce Checkout Field Editor: 80 Mbytes, everything works fine.
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blank-page-if-i-create-a-new-menu-with-wpml-active
Please Enfold optimized.
Thanks
Edit by Kriesi: Please note that enfold should work fine with abou 50mb in your front end and 90 in your backend with those plugins active. we just recommend more resources since people often throw in another 10 plugins :P
August 12, 2013 at 7:49 pm #114785Lots of really great ideas! If anyone has examples of functionality when posting you can add a link to it as well to illustrate the features.
Regards,
Devin
August 13, 2013 at 10:02 am #114787If you could add a basic table import feature for .csv tables that I already have it would be brilliant! Also, make it so you can add the table to any layout by name, so you don’t have to put the data in again. And finally could you add some basic formatting options like a colour selector for columns/rows text formatting etc? Cheers the theme is cool by the way!
August 13, 2013 at 1:13 pm #114788The table editor really needs to be able to insert a row or column to an existing table as it is very limited right now and it’s not really usable if you need to amend an existing table..
August 13, 2013 at 2:39 pm #114789Updated google maps to enable or disable certain things… Especially scroll wheel– PIA and turning off pan is good on mobile so you don’t get stuck on a full screen map…
Enable or disable – Scroll Wheel
Enable or disable – Pan Control
Enable or disable – Zoom Control
Enable or disable – Map Type Control
Enable or disable – Scale Control
Enable or disable – Draggable
Hue
Saturation
Lightness
Gamma

August 13, 2013 at 6:23 pm #114790Compatibility for wpSEO Plugin (http://wpseo.de/)
August 15, 2013 at 9:27 am #114791Option to have more than 4 columns for portfolio projects.
Main reason to giving you more design options for adding project sliders to other pages. At the moment with 4 they seems to dominate a page. If you could have it set to 6 they would become smaller and be more of a sub-option on the page.
August 15, 2013 at 1:34 pm #114792Before and after effect/slider
Like this one:
look under the menu at FEATURES – EASY TO USE – DESIGN AUDITS
For designers who use photoshop its just amazing to show before and afters of your edited images.
August 15, 2013 at 8:25 pm #114793Gallery options:
To have an option in the gallery with preview and small thumbnails for hover effect or clickable thumbnails. The hover effect looks good but hard on touch screen to operate.
Option to turn the transition effect on or off or to change the speed.
By the way cant wait for the next update :-)
August 17, 2013 at 10:00 pm #114794I have only just bought the theme and it is by far and away the most advanced template I have ever handled.
I’d like to see:
1. fly out / pop-out login (similar to the search function) so users don’t to navigate to a separate page to login.
2. Sortable functionality for not only portfolio items but other post types.
Brilliant theme!
August 18, 2013 at 8:15 pm #114795+1 for lightbox captions and not tooltip cations – not user friendly…especially for mobile users.
August 18, 2013 at 9:22 pm #114796August 19, 2013 at 7:34 am #114797it would be great to have the option in the blog gridview – “Define Blog Grid layout” to have some extra options. to have option with or without featured image picture. e.g.:
– No Image, only Title & Excerpt
– No Image, only Title
– No Image, only Excerpt + Read more

August 19, 2013 at 9:10 am #114798Your theme rocks! Really easy to customize and lots of fun to play with. Still have some requests to make this theme even more awesome:
- Load more button for posts!
- Divider with icon (example: http://3clicks.bringthepixel.com/shortcodes/basic/divider/)
- Multiple Map locations (example: http://themenectar.com/demo/salient/contact/)
- Better styling for <!–nextpage–> navigation (example: http://3clicks.bringthepixel.com/pages/special-pages/split-page/)
- Option to display portfolio category below portfolio title (example: http://artbees.net/themes/jupiter/portfolio-four-column/)
- Advanced options for “parallex effect” (example: http://artbees.net/themes/jupiter/shortcode-parallax/)
- As mentioned before by artistic24459: Before/after image effect would be superb!
Thanks, Simon
August 19, 2013 at 2:41 pm #114799i would like a easier way to set the fonts sizes sitewide, i am happy with the theme but i honestly don’t understand why this great theme does not have font sizes in the theme admin panel fot easy change.
Now we have to put css for every part we want to change.
so please add this
August 19, 2013 at 7:13 pm #114800I would definitely make sure the customer is allowed to use their own fonts… this theme is jamming but I have a pest control site i’m making and I want to use insect/pest related icons and can’t unless i bypass the cool features and do it manually which doesn’t look that great in the end… Awesome theme. Best so far that I have seen and I own a ton of them on ThemeForest…
August 20, 2013 at 2:45 pm #114801I would really love it if clicking on the portfolio category sort buttons loaded additional portfolio items in the category. At my site http://www.kylegilman.net/ I have nine of the most recent portfolio items displayed on the home page. If you click on “Features” only the one feature film in the last nine projects is displayed, which makes it look like I’ve only edited one feature.
I’ve seen in other posts that this doesn’t seem to be a planned feature because it may be too difficult to do an additional query on portfolio items, but could it be possible to load up additional portfolio items and keep them hidden like this theme does: http://themeforest.net/item/dandelion-powerful-elegant-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/136628
Oh! And I would also like to request a YouTube icon option for the header.
August 21, 2013 at 4:23 pm #114803Requested from another topic:
I'd like to link my App.net profile in the top social area of my site. Could you add App.net as an option? Their resources for developers and designers are here:
https://account.app.net/legal/assets/
Thanks for any consideration.August 22, 2013 at 6:28 pm #114804In the contact forms there is no way to identify the form when it is submitted and received as an email. One way is to have a hidden field where we can add some descriptive text so that when we receive emails via the form we know what it is about. Another way is to add an additional ‘subject’ field in the UI – as it stands all emails received via the contact form arrive with the subject line of “New Message (sent by contact form at domain)”, which is not very helpful going forward as we could have a number of forms and not know the reason as to why they were sent. It would be great to see something implemented in a future release. Having the ability to customize the email subject line in every form would be beneficial. Hope you can do something. Thanks.
August 24, 2013 at 3:43 pm #114805Hi guys
Firstly just want to say I absolutely love this theme!
One feature that I think would be great is if you could have a fullscreen background image – like your Flashlight theme ;)
Keep up the good work!
August 24, 2013 at 7:02 pm #114806The advanced page builder elements within the footer widgets would be good.
August 25, 2013 at 2:23 am #114807Hey,
@jimbolgs: You can actually insert shortcode on your footer widgets. Use the Text widget then place it on the Footer – Columns widget area. Try the button element. :)
Cheers,
Ismael
August 26, 2013 at 8:14 am #114808Hi Kriesi,
Definitely love this theme!!!
I just have one wish : To have the video playing in the ajax portfolio directly ( without getting it in a lightbox) That would be great!!!
Thanks a lot
