Open up header.php and search for
if(strpos($headerS,'social_header') !== false && strpos($headerS,'bottom_nav_header') !== false) avia_social_media_icons($social_args);
Replace this line with
echo '<img src="http://mywebsite.com/image.jpg" style="float:right;" width="468" height=68" alt="banner alt text" title="banner title" />';
and instead of http://mywebsite.com/image.jpg insert the src path to your banner image and insert a custom alt/title text.
Just uploaded the new theme and added the dummy content and the menu is overlapping the image below and the logo, what is the issue?

Hi,
When a post have a title with a single quote inside, the tooltip hover related post image doesn’t show all the right part of title since single quote.
Any idea ?
Thanks and best regards.
Hey!
Can you post a link to a page where the issue occurs? Maybe it’s a css code conflict.

Peter
I have increased wordpress memory…
I deactivated all plugins… still nothing.
The components render on the page without an image source
<li class="slide-2 slide-id-815" data-img-url="">
<div class="avia-slide-wrap" data-rel="slideshow-1">
<img alt="" title="IMG_0562" src="" />
</div>
Here is the shortcode exceprt from the database:
What could cause the components not to store the image source
Hey!
Glad you found a solution :)
Best regards,
Peter
Hi!
The table fields should support html code to and you can try to insert the img tag directly into the td or th element.
Best regards,
Peter
I just migrated the site from one host to another – everything is working except the following components: Image Gallery, Fullwidth Easy Slider, Easy Slider, and Portfolio Grid.
I have tried deleting the component, updating the page, then adding it back in. The components are in the Advanced editor but don’t show on the page.
It seems like the components cannot save the selected images from the media library.
I investigated the html code and it seems like you (or wordpress) added a width value to the image code
<div id="attachment_2705" class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 760px"><a href="http://deborahburst.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/website-photos-NYC-hoda-deb.jpg" rel="lightbox[auto_group1]" style="position: relative; overflow: hidden;"><img class="size-full wp-image-2705" alt="Deb and Hoda!" src="http://deborahburst.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/website-photos-NYC-hoda-deb.jpg" width="750" height="1000">
Please remove “style=”width: 760px” and the image will scale properly. Maybe you need to switch to the “HTML” mode of the text editor to find the code.
Hi Jason,
No, I’m not getting that behavior when viewing the site right now.
As for the slideshow there isn’t really anything that can be done on our end. Its user created and designed and scales according to the settings on the individual slide. So using percentages for items or using images instead of text is the best advice we can give to improve the look of things.

Hi,
From an iphone browser, please see: http://deborahburst.com/2013/07/a-chance-encounter-in-nyc/ I love the theme, and this seems to be the only issue I’m having. I’m using the wide theme, not the boxed theme setting. Everything behaves correctly in a desktop browser, but on iphones, the images aren’t resizing to fit the browser frame.
Thanks,
Tyler
Hello,
If I add a background image through the theme’s “styling” > “main content” menu my full width images in my color sections shrink to half of their width.
If I turn off the background the images in the color section go back to full width.
Please advise.
Cheers,
Casper
Hi Ismael,
Thanks alot for the coding.
I followed your instructions – it was a little fiddly to get the code and images to show in the right places but I figured it out. After viewing it on the website, it didn’t look much different/better than the copy and paste version we had and certainly takes longer to put together.
Adding pictures to tables is quite a standard bit of functionality – are there any plans to add this as a drop down option into the table anytime soon?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hello,
I would like to make some style changes to the author archive page but can’t seem to access it in the backend or edit from the live page.
Example page: http://etool.net.au/author/alex/
I want to add a sidebar and move the author image to the left, with bio on the right.
Can you advise where and how to change this please?
Thanks, Siobhan
It seems to occur when I use the image block. The image usually doesn’t appear for first time visitors. When they reload the page it pops up.

Silly me I made some code changes to header.php and that is what seems to causing my problem.
I’ll do some testing and mark this as resolved if that is the case
Nick,
Do you have an email address so i am not posting to the world?
I apologize for so many questions, but every time i want to change a color or add an image, the theme behaves differently
I just tried to have a 2 column page in which i put an image, a headline, and some copy. Well, i couldn’t use the avia image tool, because that shrinks the image. So i figured out through trial and error that it had to be a slider. Well, that worked. But when i cloned the exact same configuration for the second column, the spacing was different.
?
The logo in the enfold demo stays the same size. When you put your own in, at exactly the same size, it shrinks…
?
I put a background color on the footer. But when i make it green, the type isnt white anymore? I had to make it a light grey.
?
I love the theme. I only like a few I have found so far. I would buy this theme over and over and use it for a bunch of web sites.
But it is utterly frustrating to have to do everything by trial and error, or look it up in a forum. Because much of the functionality is not documented.
The guys in the forum have done a really good job at answering questions promptly. But everything I want to do, turns out to be a struggle.
It is taking tons of time to do some really simple things. At least I thought they were simple. Maybe I am wrong.
Thx in advance.
i’d like to add an image to the top of a pricing table. Is this possible?
Hi,
Please provide a url to the page in question since we need to look at live code to be able to answer this question, as well as see which version of the theme you are using since there are differences, as well as the type of header, etc… You can use http://www.goo.gl to hide the destination url from google bots.
IE7
In March of 2013, IE7 finally went below 1% usage in East Uganda, Patagonia and among the indigenous people of the Amazon river basin ( http://theie7countdown.com/ )
If you put all the people who use IE7 into a small stadium and called in the fire marshal, he would say there is no problem and many empty seats left.
At this stage IE7 is no longer supported by anyone and even major retail websites now charge an additional tax on purchases from customers using IE7 ( http://media.kogan.com/tcache/cb/8d/cb8d4caee907047fe4d0c03dce51d3cb.jpg ) …
You have to remember that IE7 users are used to seeing the web as a broken mess of pages, non working forms, sliders that never slide and basically a pile of images, text and fonts clumped around the page in between blinking warnings and errors. If you show them a working page, it will only confuse and scare them.
What I mean to say is, please don’t support IE7 and let that buggy diseased piece of software die quietly since you are better off customizing for the new North Korean browser – the long awaited Kim Jong 3000 – to be released once the wiring is upgraded for telegraph modems…
Thanks,
Nick
Hello, I’m using WPML with Enfold, and when I create the portfolio grid in spanish, the taxonomy that appear to me are in english. I attached to you two images explaining the situation.
http://img203.imageshack.us/img203/5145/3f0f.jpg
http://imageshack.us/scaled/landing/7/qoi6.jpg
What’s wrong with this? How I can fix it?
Thank you.
Hi Jenn,
There is no option available for 8 image grid for the portfolio grid so you would need to have a freelance developer add that option in to the theme for you.
For the portfolio items, each one *must* have a featured image added to the portfolio item for it to show an image in the regular portfolio grid. Just make sure that on the page you have the “portfolio grid” element that its option is set to Open the entry on a new page so that the portfolio works like in this demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/
For the display of the portfolio you will also need to select No Title and No excerpt from the Excerpt dropdown when editing the portfolio grid options.

Devin
I was doing some testing and it seems it is the use of the icon font somehow that is breaking the layout.
I removed only the icon code in html entity format from the code and the layout does not break anymore.
I even tried inserting the original code inside a widget on the same page, and layout broke again, even without the columns anymore. On this occasion the footer widget also stopped working and i had to resave the footer widget to get it back on.
You can take a look now if you want to see, using the access codes i gave you before.
I will probably resort to changing the font icons on the source code to images. :(
the culprit lies on this line of code i think:
<div class="avia_textblock"><div class="avia-font-entypo-fontello icona-colonnehomepage-dmc"></div>
You can use a different image entirely by uploading it to the options for the ajax portfolio display.
For example, this first item when viewed in the ajax view is the phone image but on the single page is different.
The image size should be at least 684 pixels wide.
Ok. So does it really even matter what size image I upload? It sounds like the theme will rescale it anyway.
I only ask because I uploaded some large images to the AJAX portfolio (screenshots mostly) and they looked pretty bad when you clicked on the portfolio item and the image expanded.
Thanks again!
That is very strange. Have you don’t any changes to the theme files? Made alternate header files or anything like that?
The way the plugin works is that it just hooks into the wp_head which gets output on every page. I can see the other code that is getting output there but for some reason that specific script isn’t.
You could try including it in your footer.php file as an alternative as well as disabling all other active plugins and then deactivating the plugin and reactivating it.
Hello
I’m trying to design a website where the top image’s background is fixed similar to your example homepage v7.
However if i use the Full width slider element for the top image (which works perfectly) and then try and use a color section further down the page, my background image in the color section doesn’t show up (it’s there, i just can see it).
As soon as i remove the full width slider from the page- the image in the color section works again.
Is there anyway you can advise me on how to fix this issue?
Thanks
Hi,
First, switch the Advance Layout Editor to debug mode.
Edit functions.php, find this code:
if(isset($avia_config['use_child_theme_functions_only'])) return;
Below, add the code:
//set builder mode to debug
add_action('avia_builder_mode', "builder_set_debug");
function builder_set_debug()
{
return "debug";
}
You’ll be able to see the actual shortcode below the Advance Layout Editor. Paste the code above on the shortcode field.
Regards,
Ismael
