Tbh I don’t think this is issue is theme related. I just found one occurrence of “http://happREMOVEyvalleREMOVEyfoundation.com/” in the source code which points to an image:

Maybe you changed the blog url in the past and some “hardcoded” urls in the database still point to “http://happREMOVEyvalleREMOVEyfoundation.com/” instead of “http://www.happREMOVEyvalleREMOVEyfoundation.com/”. You can use: WP MIGRATE DB to replace all occurrences of “http://happREMOVEyvalleREMOVEyfoundation.com/” with “http://www.happREMOVEyvalleREMOVEyfoundation.com/” and to export the database with the new paths. Then delete your old database and import the new database file which was generated by WP MIGRATE DB.In reply to: Disable right click on all images

That doesn’t quite cut it. I want the image to be on top of the menu bar like I’ve demonstrated on the image.
Topic: Automate Gallery Image sizes
Hi!
I have different images for my gallery in landscape and portrait mode and the gallery is in portrait mode. So, whenever it displays portrait images it does works fine but when it display landscape image, it destroy the entire look of the gallery and leave empty space at the bottom. means thumbnails looks too far apart from the preview window.
My question is, is there a way to fix it any ideas?

I have a few questions.
1. Is it possible to have multiple portfolio slugs? I am currently using the portfolio feature for products and recipes, so I would like some portfolio items to have the slug /products/… and some to have /recipes/…. I understand you can change this in the theme customisations, but you are only given one option.
2. How do I remove the rollover effect on sliders only. When I make a slider clickable to a page, when you roll your mouse over the opacity changes. How do I remove this for the sliders only (I want to keep it on portfolio items).
3. Can portfolio category pages have a heading? I am using a tag cloud in my footer and when you click on a category you get a portfolio grid page but no page heading.
And also, the images on this page are different sizes. Is it possible to make them all the same size like the portfolio grid.

Hi,
There is probably a plugin which is causing the issue. Please try to deactivate them, see if the issue persist. Activate them one at a time to find the chaotic plugin.
Increase the limit to 256M. Please contact your host to change it on php.ini file.

When the slider is viewed in wider monitor may be 23inch, the slider contents which can be viewed in normal 14 inch screens seemed to be more aligned to the left and the background starts repeating( i guess that is due to exceeding the image width), can you please give me some tips to fix the aligning of contents towards left.

Not that I know of no. You could probably create one using bootstrap pretty quickly but my guess would be that most plugins are going to be a bit feature heavy and will need tweaking.
Another option is that you could use the built in lightbox plugin and add your form to an outside html page on your domain and then pull it in with the lightbox popup via an iframe.
Eg:
“To do so, simply: Create a link (). Add the rel attribute “prettyPhoto” to it (rel=”prettyPhoto”). Change the href of your link so it points to the webpage you want to open. Then add “?iframe=true” as a parameters in your HREF so prettyPhoto knows to open the content in an iframe. Then add the width and height as parameters in your HREF (&width=100&height=100). Please note that the dimensions can be percent based.”

You should use the shortcode button (magic wand) and select the Media Element>Gallery to easily add in your image and choose the image sizing options you want.

Hi Ismael – We’ve done this at http://thecaloriemythbook.com. However, now you’ll note that the transparent play button shown on by the slider makes the image of a play button we added look odd. Is there any way to remove the sliders transparent play button on the video? Thanks

Each portfolio item allows you to set its single page contents however you want. So for each portfolio item you just add in a 2/3 column element and a 1/3 column element. Then add the slideshow element into the 2/3 column, populate it with your images and do the same for the text content in the 1/3 with a text element or whatever you want.
Then you create a new page to hold the portfolio grid and add that element to the layout.

Unfortunately with wordpress there is no global reset on theme options except for deleting the database data for that specific theme. So you could re-install your wordpress database over again or just delete all your pages, posts, images, menu items and at that point re-importing the dummy data would be a somewhat soft reset.
Make sure that when you delete your posts and pages that you also clear your pages trash so that you don’t get blog-2, somepage-2 for the url pretty permalink names.

Yes to both. I created a portfolio page using “Portfolio Grid” and selected “open an entry on a new page” . As I said, the problem is that no images show on my portfolio page, just headings.(which link just fine to the portfolio items on a new page.).
Since the portfolio grid was not working, I set up a gallery page separately, which looks exactly the way I want. IF I could link those gallery images to the portfolio item page for each, that would be a perfect solution.
In summary…
1. I need images to show on my portfolio page, and they don’t.
2. I need images 8 across on the portfolio page, but it seems to be limited to 4 across.
3. I do not want to see headings for each item on the portfolio page, just images
(in other words I want the portfolio page to look exactly like the gallery page I set up)
ALTERNATIVELY
My separate Gallery Page looks exactly as I want (8 images across and mouseover headings only). But how do I link each gallery image to to its respective portfolio item page?

I removed the links, actually i got it from the images, didnt notice links.
You need to download the latest version. This works fine out of the box. You must have modified something that killed or blocked part of the code because first time i am seeing something like this. In either case you will need to download a fresh theme and you can use http://www.winmerge.org to compare the folder of the update to the folder where you have the current theme you are using and you will be shown all the differences between the two on a line by line basis. This way you can isolate where the edit took place.and fix it

The grid requires an image to be set right now in order to show properly. Otherwise the element wont display correctly.
So for right now no, there isn’t an option to display an icon instead since it was built with a image based visual navigation in mind.

Hi!
Go to “Layout Elements” and add a “Color Section” to the layout. Click on the “edit section” icon to configure the options (bg image, etc.). Afterwards drag’n’drop your content elements into the section.

I’m still seeing the issue after the 1.8.1 update as well as the code addition.
Just to make sure, where in the wp-config.php file should that line be added. Also I can edit the .htaccess file. Is it better to edit one over the other? Perhaps both?

i am sorry that you could not enter the site with the username password i gave you. Please try again.
On the same matter, we keep having problems with the Avia editor, I tried installing the theme from scratch on another server and after using Avia for a while, on some pages i get other kinds of problems.
On one page, when editing the Avia Editor does not load at all and the loading indicator (the rotating circle) keeps rotating and does not load the WYSIWYG editor.
On another page, after adding a background image to the Alternate Content container, when i click update page i get a 404 error, even thought the page exists.
And this is happening on a MAC in Safari, Chrome and Firefox, on 2 different web-servers and even on a local MAMP stack.
Do i need to do something to the server configuration? Is there any recommended .htaccess or php.ini config?
Is there a way to somehow reset the Avia Framework?
Maybe bypassing the framework and using the standard shorcodes might solve the problem.
Is there an email i can send access information to the website so you can take a closer look? Or maybe using team viewer software.
I do not know if anyone else is having these kinds of problems, but we need some help, please.
Hi, first off I wanted to say this is an amazing theme, and super easy to setup as I’ve never used WordPress up to now, so a huge thanks!
I wanted to ask a quick question though, as the site can currently freeze and crash browsers on iphones when we view it.
It seems to be since we have built in the parallax (ie fixed) background image on a colour space with text overlayed (or it could potentially be the layerslider as well).
What is the best way to turn off these sections on mobile? or better hey is it possible to switch the ‘fixed’ background image to a standard scrolling one on mobile?

As we’re a mobile specific company, it’s not great if our mobile site crashes ;)

Back on the nav issue — I updated to the latest version of the theme, and it does not fix this issue. The issue also occurs with multiple browsers. Are you sure I have to add custom code to get this to work? Shouldn’t it be fixed in the theme?
