I mean to change all the background color every where.
I would like the background color to be : #ECE661 and the color : #FFFFFF.
I’m asking it because there is no theme who is close to my color so i want to customize everything but i’m pretty sure if i do it by myself i’ll forget some element (i just realise i have to modify also the icon on the hover on an image).

Hi Btina,
I don’t know what you mean by set the header directly. The header option available in the meta box on each page allows you to either show or not show the page title+breadcrumbs. If you want to have a blank page then you can select that template from the meta box above the layout meta box.
We would need to see your site to see what is happening with the blur. By default you should only need to upload the largest image size you want to show which will then get re-sized by the theme wherever it needs something smaller.

Topic: Easy Slider Border
How can I put a small border around the easy slider? Some of my images have white backgrounds and the slider looks odd when they show.
I can show you examples of the iconbox or button issue though, but wish you could post private urls here like in other forums as it’s really not practical to keep using the google url service or creating test pages.
I would imagine that if you add a button to a page though, then test in IE8 you will see that the button just appears as a faint border outline with no colour as I’ve tested with two versions of Enfold on two servers and with two different versions of WP and seen exactly the same thing now. Same with the image rollover on images within Icon Boxes too!

I’m having an issue with our images, it seems the title text always shows when you put the mouse over an image – quick example here – http://www.boutiquehospitalitymanagementasia.com/services/planning-consulting/. Is it possible to turn this off? I can’t see a quick way to do it anywhere, only thing I can think of is deleting the title on every image, but we have over 100 now so this isn’t really a very good option.

So I had my client create a subdomain on their own server, install fresh WordPress, install new copy of Enfold and Enfold Child and…the issue with the Avia Layout Editor “content NOT appearing” seems to have gone away, but…now, after I open up one of the text blocks and edit it > save it > then try and open up another “text block”, the actual text does not show in the WYSIWYG (no text to edit), and, when I try and insert an image via the ALB, when I click the “insert image” button…it does nothing.
I really like this theme, but it seems the more I work on building a site with it, the more it does not want to work.

I am trying to build a website for a student organization, but I’m running into a bit of trouble (especially since I’m not a hardcore CS person). The header and menu on the website I’m building (url here: http://www.hcs.harvard.edu/~rce/) is completely transparent which makes it hard to read the subcategories and texts. I’ve tried fiddling around with the header background color and the background images to try and create a less transparent, if not solid, background for the header and menu, but each time I make any change on the Enfold Stylization tab whether it be through the options given or through Quick CSS, there seems to be no change on the website after I update. I’m not quite sure I understand what is going on or what to do from here. Could someone advise?

Actually there’re two solutions.
1) Change the thumbnail size in functions.php – search for
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>495, 'height'=>400 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)and set the width value to a value below 450px. Regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
2) Upload a bigger image. All other featured images are bigger (eg http://new.raffaello.name/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Balancing_Cube_01.jpg or http://new.raffaello.name/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/geo_skydive.jpg but this image: http://new.raffaello.name/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/bj-450×450.jpg is too small and wordpress will not resize the width. Eventually this image is different from the other images (different aspect ratio) and it breaks the grid.
Topic: Text inside tables

I need help placing my text inside the tables, it does not matter if I set the aligment to the top or center it always stay on base. How can I configure this to apper in the place exactly where I set it to.
The image is placed in vertical alignment = center and the text of the next column is set to vertical alignment = top, but it keeps showing alignment with the base.
How do I do for the alignment that I set to appear correctly?

Click on the first image (BECKMAN, TOMAS) in the portfolio (Im using the ajax preview). The image size is 400×267, but in the “slideshow” (only one image though so it’s not really a slideshow) the image is much bigger, it seems to be scaled up quite a bit? The lightbox size is correct.

Mayorninja seems to be correct about switching over to the Unicode encoding putting it back to the original style. Unfortunately, the newly downloaded font with Unicode encoding still has the same issues as the previous version and does not display in IE8.
So basically it sounds like we’re currently stuck with an unusable set of icons in IE8? Is there a way I can at least switch out the Search icon with an image to get it to display?

– I am building a large site with Enfold and the single biggest problem I’m facing is that I can’t add CSS classes to colour sections. This would greatly help with styling repeated same-styled page elements. I can set ID’s for the sections but by definition these should be unique. As a workaround I have developed a JQuery function which converts IDs to separate classes but since this works client-side it’s not a very nice solution.
– I would also like to set background colours and images for all the layout elements (eg 1/1 columns, 1/2 columns, etc), as you can with colour sections. And classes too!
I’m trying to align images to the bottom baseline of a div within a color section. I have two 50% columns in the color section (left is text, right is image). As the site is responsive, when I change the window size the image moves up/down the container as it seems to be fixed a to a certain point on the page, and not anchored to the bottom.
Is there a way to fix the baseline of the image to the baseline of the container indefinitely with this theme/css? Essentially, the image is aligned to the bottom to begin with at full width, but as the window contacts, the text forces to container to expand and I end up with white space below the image.
My CSS for the image div is as follows:

Actually this is not possible because the theme just adds a static margin which doesn’t depend on the slider size on the left. If you want to reduce the space (margin) between the images you can insert following code into the quick css field
.avia_image.avia-align-center {
margin: 0 auto 0 auto;
}but then the images won’t line up when you view the website in a “fullwidth” browser window. Either way you can’t always align these images with the slideshow on the left.

Hi
Where can I set the Header? Direktly to the Page – there I can just see the setting display or don’t display header but where is the header? =)
And my images look shlitly blury! Is there a way in Photoshop to export the images as Retina ready images or something in this direction? The size of the image is correct the size of the browser is 100% but it’s still blurry on my Computer (Desktop) in Firefox and Opera. How did you upload you’re images any recommandation?

Hi,
Did you test the caption? I’m pretty sure that the prettyphoto description & title work just fine because I worked on the gallery element and I took care of the image/link structure. The image “description” (you can edit/add it on the media attachment screen) is used as link title and prettyphoto will display the link title as “description”. The image title is used for the title at the top of the lightbox.

Are you talking about the Blog Posts featured image? You can’t achieve the shadow effect that you want via CSS. You need an actual image to be set as background. Please hire a freelance developer to modify the theme for you. I think it will take them less than 15 minutes to apply the background.
