I am currently using the fixed header with social icons and additional navigation, but when I set the additional navigation menu to use a menu with a mega menu it just ignores it and treats it as a normal menu structure.
Is there a way I can make the secondary menu show a mega menu as well?

I’d be curious what those “automatic” shrinking programs do, that photoshop could not.
Also, about media queries to replace photos, indeed I believe that would not resolve the “size” issue (even make it worse), but if LAYOUT is a concern it could resolve changing the picture for different media sizes….

Can you guide about how i should do this. I see that there is a german translation embedded in the theme.

Yes, I mentioned that in my comment to you. I actually have three categories set up. I am using them to pull the blogs into a page in fact. But, in this case as you can see from the screenshot, they are not showing up.

So if its on a post inside the loop you would use:

Another one i want to add up. Since most customizations can be done via quick css, how about increase the size of the area so we can see more content ?

thanks for forming a team fighting my site`s issue ;-)
Sorry, that it take me a week, but we did have visiting guest from LA and lots of music to play with them. So, as adviced, i set up an installation, using the same content, same plugins activating one ofter another – and look: The website AND the backend both work as supposed to. The main issue is opening pages overview, no problem with the test environment you can find @ mz.muze1.de.
So what can i do next, since obviously the issue is not caused by any bad coded plugin (to be honest: i even used some more on the test server than on the live site, for i wanted to crash it and see where the problem derives – no chance, enfold seems to be a quite solid one)

Topic: Main offset
Hi,
on http://www.musikzentrale.net i am using an 152px offset from top to achieve the fixed header along with social icons, phone number and footer navigation:
This is to have the UberMenu in position, which i am using instead of the enfold`s origin menu, since it offers some more modification methods that i want.
On mobile devices i do now face a black border on top of the main section and i do have no idea, how to get rid of it. Here is my custom.css styling the header & main:

Hello,
I’m trying to sue the RoyalSlider (http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/) because I’d really like Touch Slideshows AND captions.. But I’m getting the plugin to seem to act eratically and not as expected when applying various paramaters. Of course I have contacted the plugin developer as well. But I was wondering if you have possibly tried this RoyalSlider with Enfold and found incompatibilities. Or if you know of any compatible Touch SLider I could use..

Hmm , enfold is an awesome theme for beginners and pro’s. My only concern is documentation. Even if we add new features etc but these features are not properly documented either in pdf or in a support page , it would still be difficult for some to understand.
The vimeo vides are good, but how about making it complete. For header , changing background sizes , centering logo, etc , hope they could right it down.

I have had the same problem as you, i use cyberduck and then filezilla ( mac ) . In the download button in themeforest, there are 3 options.

I tried many times updating my enfold folder with the new one i downloaded using installable wordpress files. And it still shows 1.5.1 . So I tried the folder in Main Files and updated it, it seems to work now.

Hi,
I have finally launched my website but I still need some fix. Some major ones but I had to put my site online to make it easier for you to help me.

These are the very last problems I have to resolve:
1- My website looks great on safari and firefox and on Chrome on an old PC I’ve got, but on my MacBook Pro on chrome it’s a mess.
– The light grungde background in my footer doesn’t display, instead I have only the color I have chosen for the footer.
– The background I have chose for the part before the footer (where you can see icon boxes) appeared black. Since the screenshot I have manage to fix it but I’m still not sure if it’s really fixed. Moreover the header sometimes rapidly “flashes ” black as well when you upload a page on computer or on iPad.
– And the worst of all…The navigation bar that minimized when you scroll down is transparent. I already had that problem with safari at the very beginning of my work and I put this in the quick CSS. It fixed everything on safari but not on chrome.

2- When on iPad, my slider was not responsive. The image was not the width of the screen and you couldn’t see it entirely. For example the round on the first slider was on the right. As my slider is: slider width 100%, slider height 310 I have added “responsive under 1140” and it seems to adjust things but the picture is still a bit aligned right. The thing is on ipad when I change the ipad from vertical position to horizontal it takes some time now to adjust. How can I fix this?
3- I have a wysija newsletter plugin. I had it on my last theme and it worked perfectly but on this theme when someone subscribe, there is a problem with the box where the person is supposed to have the message “thanks for registering to the newsletter ..”

These are the three major issue I have and if fixed I could sleep better at night ;-) I am a newbie and I don’t know where I should look to fix these things. I really appreciate your help.

Hi, when it comes to the Enfold theme, is there a way to move the main header (page and sub-page navigation) from the very top of the page to a position beneath an advanced slider? So instead of the main header, then content I manually add, such as a slider – instead it would be the content I add (slider) and then the header/navigation menu?

• Ability for an Avia Builder Image block’s link to target _blank instead of opening in the same window.
Any link anywhere should IMO always allow for target choice..
Easy Slider
• Ability to show image caption and/or title..
• Touch (like RoyalSlider).
Avia Layout Sidebar
• Look like regular sidebar styling-wise.. I use them only because they remain visible in mobile-mode, but don’t like the look so much.. The regular ones look better to me.
Filtering Portfolio Menu
• Bigger, maybe in boxes piling up one on top of the other like a menu.. the way it is now you need tiny little fingers to access on mobile/tablet..
Portfolio Grid
• Ability to choose if the title box of the image (with the little triangle pointing up into the image) “eats away” at the original image or is aligned below the image without cropping it at all so as to respect its proportions.. The way it is set up no it crops the image both at top and bottom (for example here my images that are originally squares get cropped top and bottom http://www.lamuseboutique.com/be-inspired/).
• More “organic” alignement to allow various heights for grid elements an not look so square/rigid (as seen here: http://www.uiueux.com/wp/webzine/). I also like how there is space between the elements in that theme… would be very nice to be able to add a few pixels of space as one wishes.

a. Header – Currently I’m using a background color for the header. I want a background image that repeats just like the image in my stash. The height is 100px but I can adjust it if someone here can recommend what is the ideal height for a gradient header background image ? I have tried in the enfold menu but the there’s a portion that repeats vertically so I’m guessing I need to either increase the height of the header background image or decrease the size of the header height ?
b. Logo – I’m having a hard time uploading the logo correctly. It says I need to upload a 200 x 100 logo but when I do, it shrinks the logo. What is the ideal logo size especially if the logo is a transparent png like mine ? As of now this is the logo size I wanted but I want to be sure this is flexible in different browsers.

c.) On mobile, I can’t view the portfolio item I have created but in my mac it works fine. In io6 or android chrome it shows a 404 error page.
d.) The latest enfold version is 1.6 right ? I have downloaded it in themeforest and uploaded via ftp ( cyberduck ) and it’s pretty sluggish. When I check the version its still 1.5.1 ? Any thoughts on this ?
e.) How do you hide the titles for the pages , I have hidden the breadcrums for you are now here etc. But the page title underneath the logo still shows up.

Personally I’d recommend to use coodestyling: to translate the theme po files. Install the plugin, go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” select (or create) your language, scan the files and then translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain.

please post a link to your website – I just checked the demo page http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/ and the scroll to top button works on all devices (tested on desktop and Android 4.1 phone).
