Hi guys,
Wondering if you have any recommendations… we’re getting TONS of spam messages (not comments) via the contact form on our website. We’re using the captcha, but still… hundreds a day.

Any advice?

Hi addwebtoday!
Please enable debugging mode – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can also switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg

Hi!
Have you noted the changes you have made? You can use a child theme – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
Cheers!

Hey Scott!
You can find Footer options in Enfold theme options > Footer tab. You can choose which widgets to display in Appearance > Widgets. You should add needed widgets to Footer column widget areas
Please see Enfold documentation here – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/
Cheers!

I have absolutely no problem seeing my entire site or the layer slider on my mac or phone or tablet, but cannot get the layer slider to open on a windows 8 machine with IE10 or Chrome. I’m sure you have answered this 1,000,000 times but i cannot locate the link in searches.
http://www.moceancapecod.com
the bottom slider works fine on all OS.
Also, what dimensions should images be for the layer slider above and for the easy slider below to load quickly and accurately?
Thank you for the great support you guys provide!

Hey!
Please update Enfold to the latest version 2.5.4. There have been improvements done to the header elements since the version you are using – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Cheers!

Hey!
Are you using the latest version of Enfold? have you tried disabling all third-party plugins?
Best regards,

Why does the HTML editor in the Promo Box keep adding blank lines with nbsp; on them?
All I do is click Save, making no changes, and then come back into the Promo Box, and in the Text tab I notice more blank lines with nbsp;
What good is the editor if it does not keep my code stable?
See screen video here : http://www.finalsmoke.net/enfold_promobox/
Please advise.
I’m trying to get a sortable portfolio working but the portfolio categories are not displaying.
I have 3 test Portfolios which each have a different portfolio category assigned. When viewing the Portfolio Grid I can only see a heading of ‘All’ at the top. I would expect to se all three portfolio categories available to be selected. Is there something basic I am missing. Work in progress site is: http://www.admagroup.com/staging/?page_id=2269
Any help appreciated
Your live demo of Enfold appears to function as loading the full menu and then recognizing that the menu extends too far to the left, so it then loads the mobile menu icon. Our sites are not doing that for some reason.
I’m using the Masonry Gallery but can’t figure out where the pics are pulling from. I’ve created portfolio items and a category, but those are not being pulled into the Gallery. Instead, it’s pulling other photos from a previous version of the website, including logos, etc.
http://bechicbride.com
1. Mason Gallery other than full width
2. Option to load more pictures in masonry just by scrolling down (without having to click a load more button or page button)
Thanks!
Thanks for your reply. So if I have to upload them already sized up, what is the point of the size boxes in the theme itself? What purpose do they have? I’m also a photographer and all the photo websites I’ve utilized resize the pictures according to what size/aspect ratio parameters you set. So, I guess I don’t understand how to use Enfold’s, or what their purpose is if I’m doing all the work of resizing myself?
And I don’t understand why I have to set the thumb size in the php file you mentioned if it has the thumbnail size box option in WYSIWYG view? Wouldn’t I just use that?
Thanks

What is the Enfold theme update download link that includes instructions for smoothest transition? (For a version 1.5.1 update to the most current.)
Help! I had walking pneumonia and was not working for almost a month. When I was working I was doing what was absolutely necessary so I didn’t do the February 13th download of Enfold and now the download is gone!! Please, please, can you help me. I would like to do the update, but I cannot access it. It truly was extenuating circumstances.
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Hi
I have a long rectangular shaped logo and placed it within a large fixed header. The problem is that is displaying too small.
I have tried to place different sized versions but they still display the same small size and over towards the centre of the page.
Here’s what it looks like http://69.195.124.161/~apsleyst/wp-admin/customize.php?theme=enfold-child
I would like it to be approx. double this size it is shown and aligned closer to the left side of the header – is there a way to do this?
Thanks
Kim

Kimberlyjo. Reason: again I forgot to add
Never-mind, I entered a license and api key and the child theme kicked in All Set
Hi, I am trying to setup a child theme so I can add a template for a content type.
I used the canned one from the site but its not falling back to the main theme. http://andrewbishara.com/main/wordpress/
Not Sure why this could be?
/*
Theme Name: Enfold Child
Description: A Child Theme for the Enfold WordPress Theme. If you plan to do a lot of file modifications we recommend to use this Theme instead of the original Theme. Updating wil be much easier then.
Version: 1.0
Author: Kriesi
Author URI: http://kriesi.at
Template: enfold
*/
/*Add your own styles here:*/

Hi,
Actually: I’ve done a bit more research on this. PrettyPhoto (which you are using in Enfold) comes with Facebook, Twitter and Google+ share buttons since version 3.1.1:
http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/
Is there a way of activating them in Enfold??
Hi Ismael I’m doing well! t/hanks for responding. I’ve upgraded Enfold and still have the issue.
Are you actually looking on a mobile device? The issue is this:

As you can see, a colorbox asked to use “No minimum height” still only ever stretches to the full height of the viewport. So, on an iphone screen the content in the colorbox gets cut off. If you’re looking at a tall responsive desktop screen you’re not seeing this problem.

Done, did not solve the problem. Also, adding this htaccess code, removing all W3TC htaccess code & emptying caches did not fix this.
Fonts are included correctly:
<style type=’text/css’>
@font-face {
font-family: ‘entypo-fontello’; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal;
src: url(‘http://robinhq.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.eot’);
src: url(‘http://robinhq.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.eot?#iefix’) format(’embedded-opentype’),
url(‘http://robinhq.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.woff’) format(‘woff’),
url(‘http://robinhq.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.ttf’) format(‘truetype’),
url(‘http://robinhq.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/assets/fonts/entypo-fontello.svg#fontello’) format(‘svg’);
}
.avia-font-entypo-fontello{ font-family: ‘entypo-fontello’; }
</style>
Note: this code is shown twice in our <head /> section. We needed to add this code manually, as the font did not load correctly on subsites on our multisite: urls to the font files were generated based on subsite url (not correct url to font file), instead of network site url (correct url to font file).
