Hi again Ismael,
My website is: http://www.kindbo.com
I have been in contact with my host one.com and there is no problem with the memory. However we did the P3 Profiler plugin and it showed that the WPML-plugin made the site way to slow. I have copied in the results of the analysis.
It was a surprise to me that the WPML-plugin was the one causing the problems since you gave the information that Enfold is prepared for this plugin and that is also the reason why I bought it.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
Regards,

I would like to designate a specific color for the font icon, as well as the circle around it that’s shown in the visual editor. In the visual editor, the icon is white and the circle is blue. On my page in the browser, the icon is black with no circle.
I was able to change the content box title font color easily, but have had no luck with the font icon. Link to page is http://welcometojoseph.com.
By the way, that “Enfold Custom Widget Area,” is that used to create a custom sidebar? I’m trying to figure out how to create a custom sidebar other than “Displayed Everywhere,” “Sidebar Blog” and “Sidebar Pages.” Thanks :)
You’re not using the latest version of Enfold. Please download 2.6.2 from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Watch this video by Devin: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Have you tried to reconfigure the header options? Some users’ problem was fixed by simply changing a few options on Enfold > Header then saving it. Did you copy the header.php file on the child theme folder? If yes, then delete the header.php on your child theme folder. Get the new header.php file from the parent theme folder and copy it to your child theme folder. You can see the header element codes like logo, menu etc on includes > helper-main-menu.php.
Do you mind posting the login details here? Set it as a private reply.
@biklops: I checked the website but I don’t see any social icons there. Did you just hide it via CSS or the new header options work?
@drjill: We’re really sorry about that. We’re just trying to improve the users’ overall experience with Enfold by giving you more options like the ones we added for the header options. A lot of users were requesting for css modifications like header height, logo position, social icons position, phone numbers etc because they are not available on the previous header options. Now, you can do all those things without adding any css or changing any code. There will be certain setbacks but we hope that you appreciate Kriesi’s efforts.
Anyway, you can recopy the header.php file from the parent theme folder and replace the one that you have on your child theme. You can find most of the header codes like logo, menu etc on includes > helper-main-menu.php file.
The session_start() command is used in at least 4 files under the Enfold theme files provide. This command is causing the issue. Thanks for the link, but I already tried to eliminate saving the PHPSESSID urls in .httacess by using the commands providing in the article referenced. I tried this last week before I submitted the support request. The article is 8 years old and does not work, it crashes my entire site. Is there another way?
I’m not sure what you mean but Dude said to that the patch has been included on Enfold 2.6.2. All you need to do is download the latest version of the theme on your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Watch this video by Devin: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Tried adding that to the Child theme style sheet and also to the “Quick CSS” area in the Enfold Child Theme Options. Unfortunately, neither worked. You can view the news widget near the bottom of the Home page at
Since today I can’t edit textcontent. If I add a new textbox I can’t also write text. The editor doesn’t show a cursor and I can’t insert a letter. Other elements like button or seperator I can insert and edit without problems…
I’ve tried it with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. I use the newest version of Enfold.
PHPSESSID, has nothing to do with Enfold theme, this is being set by php itself which helps to keep track of cookies …, if you want to disable them you could try to disable them on your .httacess here is a good article that shows you how to. http://www.ragepank.com/articles/26/disable-phpsessid/
This plugin “Galleria Fullscreen Theme”, that you have installed is conflicting with the current light box that enfold uses, you should try to dequeue the enfold light-box so you avoid conflicts. Which is going to disable this functionality on all of the pages, and leave your “Galleria Fullscreen Theme” in place.
Hi, Devin, and thanks for posting. I mentioned it on the Enfold Theme Forest page because I was replying to something else anyway, and Kriesi said yes, it will be available with next update. ( I don’t know how much you do with Vimeo, but I checked their site and it looks like they no longer have the option to show controls to stop a video. Looks like the best a person can do is hover and click pause to get it to stop playing.)
I would like for the Layer Slider to be on a Color Section, but can’t drag the layer slider onto it. Will it not do that? I prefer to have a color background on which the video plays. This question hasn’t been addressed yet, so hopefully there’s a solution.
As I mentioned at the start of the thread, we’ve deactivated all plugins and it didn’t have an effect. WC system status is all good and green. And WP Engine support says they don’t review anything like this. I’m not sure digging into why Enfold isn’t working on WP engine is worth it because the hosting company doesn’t much matter, as long as the site and checkout works.
If you were me, how would you go about troubleshooting this theme, or child theme, issue? It doesn’t seem to be a problem with Stripe because I couldn’t get Paypal to work either. I’m getting really desperate and would love any help you can offer.
The fix was to add:
slide_height = Math.ceil( (viewport / 100 ) * this.options.height ) + 88; <— to the shortcodes.js
and some custom CSS code.
Since the update, there is now an option to have a transparent menu. This is great, but I’m unsure as to how to make the menu semi-transparent?
In the past I used:
.header_color .header_bg {
background: rgba(0,0,0,.5);
}
Now it seems to either be fully transparent or not transparent. How do I make the menu semi transparent and have the underlying image sit underneath it, so the menu sits on the top of the image? (the +88 trick no longer works).
P.S. Are there any known issues with Enfold working alongside woocommerce subscriptions, woocomerce stripe gateway, or groups woocommerce? Because everything seems to be working with other themes.
You would first change the header layout in your Theme Options>Header to the style you want.
Then on your home page use the ALB to change the layout to that of the V1. The basics for using the ALB are demonstrated in this video: https://vimeo.com/64927358
The exact steps for re-creating that layout aren’t available since you can import in those layouts and the full creation is more in depth than what could be covered in a single support response.
Our developer checked the error logs and nothing could give us an indication of the actual error. He just found generic 500 database error but that didn’t help.
So we ran a bunch of woocommerce checkout tests (using the Stripe gateway extension) on two hosting platforms, bluehost and wp engine, and the results are here:
BLUE HOST
THEME / CHECKOUT SUCCESS or NOT / BROWSER
Twentyfourteen, checkout in 14 secs on chrome
Twentyfourteen, checkout in 30 seconds on safari
Enfold, checkout in 11 secs on chrome
Enfold, checkout in 12 secs on safari
Dancedojo (Enfold child theme), checkout doesn’t complete on chrome
Dancedojo (Enfold child theme), checkout doesn’t complete on safari
WP ENGINE
Twentyfourteen, checkout in 6 sec on chrome
Twentyfourteen, checkout in 5 sec on safari
Enfold, checkout doesn’t complete on chrome
Enfold, checkout doesn’t complete on safari
Dancedojo (Enfold child theme) checkout doesn’t complete on chrome
Dancedojo (Enfold child theme) checkout doesn’t complete on safari
Twentytwelve, checkout 5 sec on chrome
Twentytwelve, checkout 7 sec on safari
It seems like there is a theme issue here. Do you have any ideas, suggestions? This is killing me!
Thanks
Robin
Have you increased your memory limit for WordPress? Its not an uncommon issue for WordPress to run out and things not to work especially for smaller or budget hosting solutions. Enfold takes up more than the norm becuase of all the additional features and if you add in something like WooCommerce or bbPress which both also take more than normal you can get issues like you describe.
Greetings.
It does not appear that my Google Analytics account is working on the Enfold Theme. I copied and pasted the entire script provided by Google in the section provided. Can someone help? I am running a Child Theme – would that affect anything?

@drjill agreed! This seems like a serious oversight by the Enfold team and real bummer. This decision to contradict the way child themes are intended to work just set my team back a few days and that’s just not cool really.
@ismael I’ve mentioned this several times already but I have header>extra elements set to not show social icons but it still does. Seems broken.
Hi,
When I change my colors in Enfold Styling, it doesn’t change the actual website, even though its showing on the back end. This started happening after I uploaded the dummy data. Prior to uploading the dummy data, I chose my own colors for the primary colors etc. but now I’m trying to change those colors, and it just won’t change on the website. Any idea what I’m supposed to do? On a deadline for a client, and the colors really don’t match. You can see the website at:
I am using Enfold with a child theme. I am having a problem with getting any CSS changes to work that are not being done through a direct Enfold Theme Styling Option (such as the General, Header, Main Content options, etc).
Any CSS I am applying in Quick CSS or my Childtheme style.css does not seem to be taking effect.
Even a basic call such as styling a header:
h6 {
font-size:2em;
color:#ff9700;
}
does not seem to override.
Can you help me with the following:
1. Does the theme prioritize hierarchy of CSS and if so should I be putting my changes in Quick CSS or my stylesheet.
2. Are there attributes that I cannot change with QuickCSS or a stylesheet (such as stylings for portfolio content and div sizes) that I need to make elsewhere?
Thanks in advance
I am sorry to bring up an issue that has been addressed a couple of times already, but I am having problems getting it to work.
Again this is the issue of blog posts not showing on front page in post slider.
1. I have a “Post-Slider” element on my home page and set it to show all default categories.
I have set my main blog page to a page called “News”
2. I have the setting>reading page set to “Your latest posts”
3. In the Enfold Them, I have set the Front Page to point to my Home Page (I currently have the “Coming Soon” as the front page but I change it back when I am testing the front page functionality)
4. I have set the “And where do you want to display the Blog?” to “Select Page” (In your other responses you say to set this to nothing but I do not see that as option so I assume you mean to set it to “Select Page”
