I have a fresh install of WordPress 4.0 on a fresh Linux machine.
I installed Enfold 2.9.1 onto the box and imported dummy data. It presented well but in the editor it presented the spinning wait cursor above the component box(es).
I updated to Enfold 2.9.2 using FTP (I am behind a router that doesn’t allow pass-through and the box has a private 10.0.0.xxx address).
I can go to the editor and see the edit boxes, but, on presentation/rendering the menu text is evenly spaced across the screen (as if incremented and displayed in tabular form).
I deleted Enfold & WordPress and removed the database.
Created a new database.
Transferred WordPress over and instanced it.
Transferred Enfold (ver 2.9.2) over.
Again, same issue: Drop-down menu text spaced across screen as if in an invisible table.
As a further test I entered some text in a field, published, and previewed. Again, drop-down text is incorrectly rendered.Suggestions? Thanks in advance…
Hi – I used the code from this support topic (#post-289123) and was wondering how I would need to alter the code to get the background color to extend across the slide when it becomes active. I’d also like to change the opacity and color of the bar – but the code I’ve pulled of the forum doesn’t seem to change anything. Please advise. URL is below.
Thanks-
AnnaTopic: Enfold Photo resolution
Dear All,
I would like to make a new website modern and fast. I believe Enfold is a very good solution.
Would you please advise best photo resolutions for various elements. Preferably the table.I see various dimentions when I look at gallery back end and others when I examin a fron page in google browser..
Kind regards
TomaszI set up a working subdomain to learn enfold.
I installed the theme and enfold child theme. I loaded dummy data (import)
and the menu collapsed.

What should I do?My objective is to replace the old at-connect page
I’m having trouble with the layout of my child theme settings page. The setting categories are no longer in a sidebar at the left, but above all settings.

Oh, I see what I did. I reduced my display size of my screen and it forced the sidebar to the top. When I ctrl+ 0 everything came back in place.
Topic: Ajax Portfolio
Hi,
I have been using Enfold for 6 months and I’m very happy with the theme, however I’m now having a problem with my last two portfolio entries.
All entries should point to an external youtube link. The portfolio has always worked well, until my recent two new entries. I recently updated both the theme and WordPress to version 4.0. The entries that now work were created before the update.
I also noticed that the page does not display the right sidebar anymore. I believe it stopped working after my recent updates.
Thank you for your assistance.
Topic: Editing Header? Adding code.
Topic: cross-browser issues
hi again!
I really like the elegant look and the many possibilities of enfold. I built the testsite with IE7 + firefox and had no (heavy) problems. But now I came arround some really bad issues while testing my test-website with browserstack.OSX MountainLion + Safari 5.1 > animated numbers: well they don´t start counting at all – remaining at zero!!
Win7 + IE8 > Post Images are somehow distorted, icons on hover are not showing
iPad 2 > the coloursection-video is not playing, just showing the custom-fallback image & circle-styled image of team member is showing square
iPad > many many issues… most of all the coloursection images are not scaled to fit the container (only shown in original size in the lower left corner of the container)Don´t get me wrong. I really can live with a slightly different look on other browsers. But those issues are really hard. Any suggestion what to do?
Hi, GoDaddy had us update to wordpress 4 which broke Enfold so then I updated Enfold as well. I am using a child theme with Enfold and all was working wonderfully until I updated. Now I cannot delete slides from the slider anymore and any changes I make do not seem to save. I’ve tried ‘hiding’ it and that does not work either.
UPDATE: apparently I also cannot add a new slider (just tried to create a new one from scratch and it does not even let me do that now).
Hi all,
I’m not too sure if this an Enfold or Yoast problem so looking for advice. Currently using Enfold 2.9.2, Yoast 1.6.1 & WP 3.9.2.
If I update my Keywords, Meta data and description for various pages the changes appear to take effect and viewing the page source you can see that it has been applied within the Yoast code and title:
<!– This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin v1.6.1 – https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ –>
If I view the same page in a different browser and view source the same piece of code contains the previous meta data and refers to the previous plugin version.
<!– This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin v1.5.6 – https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/ –>
I have cleared all browser cache and have checked Google Chome, IE & Firefox and the same problem exists unless you update the meta data within that browser and even then it is only displaying the updated information on my machine and not globally. Is there an incompatibility with my version of Enfold and Yoast 1.6.1?
I hope I’m not going mad so some sanity would be appreciated ;-)
Thanks marc
