Enfold says “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (5.6.5)” I’ve clicked “Check Manually” and it keeps saying that. How can I make it realize that’s not correct? Of course I can go on the Enfold site and manually download version 5.6.10, but going forward something is clearly not connecting to show the latest version accurately.
Hello Enfold Theme,
I have the following problem.
I have created a blog overview on the “News” subpage.
For every piece of news there is:
• Headline
• Preview image
• Text excerpt
• “Read more” button
I have turned off the following information:
• Author
• Date of post
Unfortunately, the dividing lines between these areas remain.
(see the screenshot-link)
How can I remove these?
Many thanks for your help.
Best regards
Rocco

Hey tcampaner,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
.single-post .post-meta-infos {
max-width: 100%;
}

Rikard
Hey SICOS,
I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (5.6.10) to see if that helps please? The update to 5.6.10 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or upload the theme as if it was new under Appearance->Themes->Add New Theme.
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thanks for the update, we’ll close this thread for now then. Please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:
#av-burger-menu-ul li a {
font-size: 18px;
color: red !important;
}
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi,
Thank you for the update.
The css code above should only be applied to the Accordion element and it should not affect other elements in the site. Please add the css code again, then temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings and deactivate the cache plugin. If the issue persists, provide the login details in the private field so that we can check the site properly.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hello.
When I try to update from php 7.4.33 to php8.2 website have a critical error.
Server log gives us this information:
AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Unparenthesized a ? b : c ? d : e is not supported. Use either (a ? b : c) ? d : e or a ? b : (c ? d : e) in /var/www/vhosts//wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php on line 324′,
Is it possible to create a header layout like this with Enfold?
Eg:
Central Logo with the menu below it, and left and right widget areas either side of the logo at the edges of the screen (on the same level as the logo, not in top bar above it).
Also, when using content element for Portfolio Grid, how to limit to just 1 item only (already set to 1 column, but only want to pluck out 1 random item from a specific category)?
And is styling the Enfold Mailchimp Newsletter form to be inline just a case of overriding the CSS?
Thanks,

Good day,
Does the Enfold theme have a filtered search option or could you recommend a compatible plugin that works with the Enfold theme? My Projects portfolio contains more than a hundred projects, and I would like the main Projects page to have a search bar with filters, so visitors can choose to search for projects either by keyword (in the search field), or by location, and refine their search further by category and even subcategory. So it would be a search bar, with 3 dropdown selection filters (Country, Solution, Technique).
Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Have you tried adjusting the font size or typography settings in the Enfold > General Styling > Typography tab? You should be able to adjust the style of the heading elements (h1, h2 etc) for different screen sizes including mobile screens.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hey rallef,
Thank you for the inquiry.
You can automatically import the demo in the Enfold > Demo Import panel. Please check the documentation below for more info.
// https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/

Hey jeel147,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The arrows will display posts or items that are adjacent to the current post based on the date they were published. Unfortunately, there is no option to adjust this, and you cannot sort the items manually. You can hide the arrows by adjusting the Enfold > Blog Layout > Single Post Options > Single Post Navigation settings.
Best regards,
Ismael

Hi,
I don’t see a change in the cell width, here is the starting blog page:

and one of the post pages:

I also don’t see a “jump” while the embed page is loading, however on the page load I see that your grid row height changes a lot, I recommend setting the height of the grid row to 100% of the page instead of the content height that you have it set to now.
Best regards,
Mike
Hey,
You’re currently using an older version of Enfold ( 5.6.5 ). We updated the Twitter icon to the new X icon in version 5.6.7.
Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 5.6.10. After that, please clear any server-side, plugin-based, and browser caches.
Regards,
Yigit
On this site, after editing a page, when I hit the update button, the edits disappear or it goes back to a previous version of the page, any version it feels like. I’ve done it a ton of times and keep losing my edits. I have added test pages to see if it was just the about us page, but it wasn’t, it happens on all of my new test pages as well. (The site worked fine all day working on the home page and then around 1pm it started doing this).
I have a coming soon page up, so I’ll provide login credentials below. Any help you could provide would be much appreciated!
Follow Up: I was having so much trouble, I tried two things to rule them out as conflicts or the culprit:
1. I migrated a copy of this website to my Siteground Server; and
2. De-Activated all plugins
3. Uploaded fresh version of Enfold that I downloaded from Themeforest
It did not work, I still loose everything as soon as I update a Page, ugh. Thank you for your help looking into this!

Hi,
Thanks for the clarification, the Tab Section element doesn’t have that options unfortunately.
I would recommend that you update the theme to the latest version (5.6.10). Enfold has been installed in WordPress and currently has a default appearance.
Do I need to manually recreate the “Enfold Lifestyle” based on the demo, or is there a way to activate it directly?
I would like to go to the start page by clicking on the logo.
this is standard behavior of Enfold setting ( WordPress on general). So if this is not the case there had to be something ( maybe allready in your functions.php) that hampers this action.
So what is exactly on your code in the XXXX part. Or just get rid of that entry. And have a look what happens then.
Hi,
Glad that this helps, I’m not sure what you mean by fixing the right cell width, you are using a grid row with two cells at 50%, if you want a different cell size try the grid row Set Cell Size button below the element:

Perhaps you mean that you only have two items showing but the items are each set to 1/3 of the space, to make them each 1/2 try changing the number of columns the blog element:

If this doesn’t help try explaining further.
As for using the built-in blog post navigation, you will not see these prev/next elements in the embed area because we are not embeding the whole page, only the inner “content” area,
but you could add this solution to add new blog post navigation buttons to the content area of your posts, and in my test on my demo page clicking them changes the embed post successfully:

Mike
Hi,
I added filter avf_sc_section_before_close at line 1507ff.
Complete file with modification:
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_5_6_10/avia-shortcodes/section/section.php
Let me know if this helps you.
Will be in next release.
Best regards,
Günter
