    In reply to: Demo download issue

    Hey aram,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Where is the site hosted? You may need to import the demo manually using the XML files. Please check the link below for more info:

    // https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-manually-import-a-theme-demo

    - Download the zip file of the demo you would like to import from https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/tree/master/demos

     - Extract it in \uploads\avia_demo_files\ folder. If you are importing Enfold 2017 demo, files should be extracted inside \enfold-2017\ so it should look as \uploads\avia_demo_files\enfold-2017\

    - Go to Tools > Import > WordPress Importer panel, then upload the xml files.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Enfold team!
    Need Your kind support, Demo import does not work, I am getting error each time, it is a clean web page, just created, installed woocommerce and tried to import demo. So I have gone through forums but did not find solution, contacted hosting provider, there were no any errors in logs and the memory was increased till 1024. Tried on different browsers. Everything is the same.

    ACF tells me that their plugin does not provide a “Get Custom Field” element for use in widgets. Is this widget element an Enfold item?

    Hey slikslok,

    You can set the logo which is used with the transparent header under Enfold->Theme Options->Transparency Options.

    Hey northorie,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .html_elegant-blog .avia-content-slider .slide-meta {
      display: none;
    }

    .html_elegant-blog .avia-content-slider .read-more-link {

    Reposting from updated account

    Our site uses an Enfold Custom Widget Area to display ACF values in post sidebars. Everything appears to be working properly with the exception of the ACF Date Picker element. The ACF specficiation for the Date Picker editing display and output display has been selected but when viewing that field output on the front end, the formatting specification is ignored. For example, output should be formatted as May 27, 2024, but instead displays as 20240527.

    I’ve been discussing the issue with ACF Tech Support and they’ve suggested that there may be some interaction with the Enfold Custom Widget Area component. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to rectify this issue?

    You can view the front-end output at Sidebar widget example. The ACF field in question is Review Date: 20240328

    Note that geotargeting is in effect on the website, so the page linked above can only be viewed from USA.

    I have a similar problem. A few days ago I lost both the Gutenberg editor and my advance editor. I have switched off all plugins and have the latest version of Enfold, but still cannot see any of the editors.

    Hey Aeroviews,
    I believe that you are referring to this section:
    Enfold Support 5935
    Please include an admin login in the Private Content area so we can check.
    Have you tried editing the page in the Avia Layout Builder Debugger tool under the ALB area?
    Sometimes editing the code directly can cause issues if fragments are left behind, the builder will then try to automatically fix the broken page, unsuccessfully, in this case you may need to build a new page.
    If you didn’t do this and you don’t have any code block elements with broken shortcode or HTML on the page then perhaps it will be an easy fix, we will be happy to take a look.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey northorie,
    Thank you for the link to your site, try this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    	#top.home .flex_column.av_three_fifth.avia-builder-el-17 {
    		  transform: scale(1);
    	}
    }

    Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
    After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey MORTULGAAH,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    You can try the following solution to adjust the width of the color section container: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/color-section/#color-section-with-100-content-width

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Mike.

    Ok, I have up with Gutenberg and recreated the pricing page with avia advanced. layout builder.

    you can find the link in private content.

    I’ve managed to adjust the pricing table mostly to what I need. One remaining question.

    How can I keep the pricing table to the 3 main breakpoints (laptop tablet phone) as the standard @media sizes in enfold. so that the column width doesn’t dynamically change as the browser width is reduced?

    ideally
    browser – all 3 columns 1 row – fixed width with a space between each column
    tablet – all 3 columns 1 row fixed width, with a space between columns
    phone – wrapped 1 column, 3 rows

    Chatgpt 4o has gotten me so far but not all the way.

    /* Pricing rows tables pricing page */
    #top .pricing-table li.avia-pricing-row {
    border: none;
    border-radius: 20px 20px 0 0; /* Rounded top corners */
    }

    .avia-pricing-table-container .pricing-table > li:last-child {
    border-bottom-left-radius: 20px !important;
    border-bottom-right-radius: 20px !important;
    }

    #top .pricing-table .avia-table tr {
    background-color: #ffffff !important;
    border: none !important;
    box-shadow: 0px 4px 6px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1); /* Add drop shadow */
    }

    /* Align text to the left in all columns of the pricing table except heading and pricing rows */
    .pricing-table-wrap li:not(.avia-heading-row):not(.avia-pricing-row) {
    text-align: left;
    font-size: 16px; /* Set font size */
    background-color: #ffffff !important; /* Force white background */
    padding-left: 20px; /* Add left padding */
    }
    <<<————————————————>>>
    This is the bit that is supposed to fix the width of the columns

    /* Container for the pricing table */
    .pricing-table-wrap {
    display: flex;
    flex-wrap: wrap; /* Allow columns to wrap */
    width: 100%; /* Full width container */
    }

    /* Each column in the pricing table */
    .pricing-table-wrap > ul {
    list-style: none; /* Remove default list styling */
    padding: 0; /* Remove default padding */
    margin: 0; /* Remove default margin */
    flex: 0 0 400px; /* Set fixed width for each column */
    box-sizing: border-box; /* Include padding and border in width */
    }

    /* Media query for screens between 768px and 989px */
    @media (max-width: 989px) {
    .pricing-table-wrap > ul {
    flex: 0 0 50%; /* Each column takes 50% width */
    max-width: 50%;
    }
    }

    /* Media query for screens below 768px */
    @media (max-width: 768px) {
    .pricing-table-wrap > ul {
    flex: 0 0 100%; /* Each column takes 100% width */
    max-width: 100%;
    }
    }

    Can you help fix the width of the 3 columns to the 3 breakpoints.

    Tks!

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for these. I was renaming the enfold directory name to be it not active. With removing the footer and header not much is changing regard the issue at hand.
    So yes I guess I have to review the custom avia-shortcodes, which I stated when I started the topic. I am not sure which shortcode it is, or how to debug it.

    I guess I have to go old school and write a lot of debugging information in it to see what the culprit function or shortcode is.

    Hey craig374,
    To use two columns you can add the image as a background and select Equal Height and No Space Between Columns and set a min height
    Enfold Support 5929
    I added a background color to the second columns to show that there is no space between them, the space on the right and left is the page content width:
    Enfold Support 5931
    another way would be to use the Grid Row element and add your background image and the min height, this is a full width element so it fills the screen:
    Enfold Support 5933

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Tanja,
    Try using the shortcode wand
    block editor classic block shortcode wand
    which will let you use the button element to build your button like your others so they match.
    Or you could use Avia Layout Builder Debugger so you can view the shortcode of the other buttons.
    The shortcode that you used above doesn’t have all of the attributes for the colors, size, etc.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
    Unfortunately pseudo-elements can not be links so we will need to start over, so remove the other css. I couldn’t login so try to follow these steps.
    If you are not using a child theme you could use the WP Code plugin then add a new snippet, in the top right corner use the PHP snippet as the code type:
    use wpcode php snippet and activate
    and ensure that it is activated, then add this code and save.

    function custom_floatingBadge_script() { ?>
      <script>
    document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', function() {
        var badge = document.createElement('div');
        badge.id = 'floatingBadge';
        badge.className = 'floating-badge';
        document.body.appendChild(badge);

        badge.addEventListener('click', function() {
            window.open('https://www.example.com', '_blank'); // Replace with your desired URL
        });
    });
    </script>
      <?php
    }
    add_action( 'wp_footer', 'custom_floatingBadge_script', 99 );

    Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted, and then change the link to suit.
    Then add this CSS in your Enfold Theme Options ▸ General Styling ▸ Quick CSS field:

    .floating-badge {
        position: fixed;
        right: 10px;
        bottom: 10px;
        width: 170px;
        height: 100px;
        background-image: url(https://www.idea-innovation-consulting.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/ISO_9001_farbe_de.png);
        z-index: 99;
        background-size: contain;
        background-repeat: no-repeat;
        cursor: pointer;
    }

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hey Guenter,
    It looks like the avf_sidebar_position is a filter for either a “right side” or “left side” position, not for the oder of the dynamic sidebars.
    The only way I could find was to add a custom sidebar.php to your child theme by moving lines 135-139 to line 77
    Enfold Support 5924
    Otherwise perhaps a new filter could be added try submiting a Github Feature Request

    Hi,
    The pagination link doesn’t have a rel=canonical, only the page, and this is not a new page so it would not change.
    So you would like to see the page change the canonical when the pagination is used, what do you think that it should change to.
    Please explain an I will open a Github Feature Request for you, if you don’t want to.

    Hey Anne,
    I believe that you are referring to this highlighting button:
    Enfold Support 5914
    These will work on pages created with the WordPress Editor but not on pages created with the Advanced Layout Builder because it can not highlight text inside of elements.
    I don’t know of any other plugins with this feature.
    For some features you will need to ensure that the Enfold Theme Options ▸ SEO Support ▸ Preprocessing Shortcodes In Header ▸ allow to preprocess shortcodes is enabled.

    Hey Guenter,
    Thank you for sharing, I left the page empty so the visual sitemap is centered in the page.
    But my install automatically creates /wp-sitemap.xml like this https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/wp-sitemap.xml
    Enfold Support 5912
    will Google Search Console not accept that link?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the link, it recommends using ?page=n for pagination, this is their example:
    Enfold Support 5910
    we use ?avia-element-paging=n it is the same, it doesn’t have to be the word page.
    If you feel this is still an error you can submit a request to the Dev Team in their Github Feature Request for the Dev Team to review it.
