Hi,

Please follow following instructions:
1- Download pre-built Enfold child theme – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ and activate it.
2- Copy /enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js file to your child theme and place it inside /enfold-child/js/ folder
3- Open the file on your child theme and find following line

document.cookie = CookieName + "=" + CookieValue + expires + "; path=" + path;

and change it to following

document.cookie = CookieName + "=" + CookieValue + expires + "; path=" + path + '; domain=maskenzauber.com';

(note the domain!)
4- Add following code to Functions.php file of your child theme

function wp_change_avia_cookieconsent_js() {
wp_dequeue_script( 'avia-cookie-js' );
wp_enqueue_script( 'avia-cookie-js-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri().'/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js', array('jquery'), 2, true );
}
add_action( 'wp_print_scripts', 'wp_change_avia_cookieconsent_js', 100 );

5- Apply the same changes on your subdomain if you would like cookies that are accepted on subdomain to be accepted on domain as well. No need to change domain to subdomain in avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js file.

I wanted to install older version of the theme via FTP and updating it using a Personal Token to see if that works but apparently you have already managed to install the theme :)

You can simply add new Custom Links in Appearance > Menus and use HTML in Navigation label field to display your images in your menu :)

Looking at the list of modified files, I do not think there would be any issues but of course that depends on the modifications as well. We can provide you 3.6.1 so you can compare files but as i mentioned, i do not think there will be any issues.

In case they purchased the theme for you, maybe you could request a copy of the license and contact Envato support and ask if it would be possible to transfer purchase from their account to yours. I am not sure if that would be possible but worth trying in case you are in touch with your old developer. If not, you can simply purchase a license and download the latest version of the theme from – https://themeforest.net/downloads and update the theme via FTP – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/#update-via-ftp and then refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive future updates :)

Enfold version you are currently using is not compatible with your PHP version and updating the theme to the latest version 4.7.2 would make it compatible.

Which files have you modified on your child theme? Depending on the files, you might need to update them as well since you are using a very old version. Please create a testing environment and try updating the theme there to be on the safe side. If you notice any issues, you can contact us and we can help you fix them :)

I deleted the theme and re-uploaded it via FTP and fixed it.

I believe the issue was related to your FTP client. Files were transferred using ASCII and not Binary.
