Thanks Mike, I have done those settings now. Please have a look. For me the problem is the same. I saw a new Enfold version (4.7.5?) and some interesting things in the release notes. Next after you have had a check here. I will try the upgrade.
May 26, 2020 at 8:29 am in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1216406Hi Mike,
Yes, what phone and what browser are you using? I am using iPhone with Safari and Chrome. I still don’t get it to works the first two bullets are small with opacity (as they are in the beginning of the animation) I need to reload the page for them to work. When I flip through the tabs, next time I come back all bullets are like that. Both on my live site (old js file) and our staging site where I have implemented the new js. Please note that the staging has a unrelated js error, but this is not the root cause. It behaves the same way with the plugin causing the js problem disabled.
Live (old shortcode js) :https://www.aptilo.com/products/aptilo-smp-wifi-service-management/gdpr-consent-personal-data-management/
Staging (new shortcode js): https://aptilostaging.wpengine.com/products/aptilo-smp-wifi-service-management/gdpr-consent-personal-data-management/May 25, 2020 at 3:18 pm in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1216158Hi Mike, thanks for this. I have tried this also with a private mode chrome browser on iphone and the issue is still there.
Worked perfectly, I will make some detail changes now to get it 100% as I want it. Thanks again for all your help Guenni. You thought me some on CSS as well!
We can close this now I think.Hi Guenni, Yes, the 28.67 was an error from my side, sorry for the confusion. I realized this myself but have not purched our casches as we are working on a cashing issue at the same time with our provider. Thanks alot, I am very greatful!
Thanks Guenni, that worket perfectly. If I want to have a h1 text anchored at the bottom with a white transparent background and have it scaling with the image, is that possible to achieve through CCS too? I am very novise when it comes to CCS. Look here https://aptilostaging.wpengine.com/cloud/zero-touch-wifi-iot/ at the layerslider on the top and the colorsection right under. It is the look of the layerslider h1 heading I am looking for (no rotation of text though).
Guenni,
Can I ask what you mean by “Set the background-image to cover.” ? I can’t see any such settings for the color section element. Thanks Guenni, I will try that. Yes, images are optimised through Imagify. Performance is getting more and more important for SEO and I am very focused on that.
Thanks Guenni, but will this not also mean unnecessary java code etc that will affect performance? What I am after is to just display a full-width 1500 wide picture that have a styled text H1 like you show in your exampel and that scales down for smaller screens. Fast and simple is what I am after.
May 19, 2020 at 9:18 am in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1214235Hi Mike, the jQuery error is now fixed. Correct I had to change strategy for that page, here is another page, try to move over to the consent mgmt tab and you will see this effect on mobile phones (I am using iphone). https://www.aptilo.com/products/aptilo-smp-wifi-service-management/gdpr-consent-personal-data-management/
As discussed I have tried to disable all plugins and just run the standard theme of latest version. Still this error. Just to verify that I haven’t done any thing wrong in my analysis, it would be great if you could try to make animated icons within the tab layout element to verify on your side.
Kind regards
Johan
May 11, 2020 at 5:43 pm in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1211878Hi Mike, thanks for spotting that JQuery error, but I don’t believe that is it.
The problem is the same after I have:
-Disabled all plugins
-Purged all caches.
-Reverted to the original Enfold Theme (we have some modifications in a Child theme).Behaviour:
It seems to me like the iconlists will only animate within a tab layout element if the iconlist is within the viewport when you switch to the tab containing the iconlist. If the iconlist is outside the viewport they will freeze in the initial state, small and with high opacity. They will not animate when you scroll down so that they come into the viewport. They will then animate when they are in the viewport and the page is reloaded. Would be great if someone could test this with another site.Another thing I have discovered
The tab layout element do not seem to work with dynamic elements like essential grid, it simply seem not to understand the size of the content in that case and thus the tabslider get to small to fit content. Can you confirm that this is a known issue?April 14, 2020 at 9:13 am in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1203483Sorry, here it is https://www.aptilo.com/iot-ccs/ please go to the second tab “Explore”.
April 7, 2020 at 2:48 pm in reply to: Icon list animation not working in tab section when clicking on a link #1201617I have the exact same issue. If you have the iconlist in the tab layou element (2nd tab and beyond), then the animation of icons will not work unless you reload the page. In my case I would be ok to just disable the animation, but just for this instance don’t want it to be a global change for all iconlists. Is there a way to do that or force a reload of page when the tab is changed (which also would fix the problem although a bit uggly fix).
January 21, 2020 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Tab section: Making selected tab more visible for mobile possible? #1176829Thanks for your fast response Yigit.
The current experience look like this https://imgur.com/YQ8ymPC
My suggestion is to make that triangle indicating selected tab somewhat bigger like this https://imgur.com/II2McSE
I post the link in the private part.
January 16, 2020 at 3:03 pm in reply to: How to make icon boxes in columns the same height? #1175023That worked perfectly even with quick CSS. Thanks!
January 16, 2020 at 10:56 am in reply to: How to make icon boxes in columns the same height? #1174840Rikard, thank you for your promt reply!
We are almost there…… It worked well when I adjusted it to 280 px for screens that display the icon boxes in more than one column. For mobile phones though, I would rather stay with as it is (not equal size) as the boxes will be appearing in only one column. Is there a way to do this, but exclude screens that display the boxes in one column i.e mobile phones?
January 15, 2020 at 1:48 pm in reply to: How to make icon boxes in columns the same height? #1173984Hi Victoria, that worked perfectly as long as it is only text in the box, but when I add an icon it does not work anymore. Link to my staging site in private content.
Breaking news ;=)). It was user error – my bad. I didn’t realise that that our designer had chosen a Google Webkit font called Open Sans. Now I will have to find a “web safe font” that is as close as possible. Question:
I am thinking to upload an Open Sans font and use that instead locally. But, I guess it will not be as fast rendering as the “Web safe fonts?”
Thanks Ismael,
I have disabled both recapthca and google maps under Google services in the team, but the font still loads. The reason I want to diable it is that I want to minimize unneccesary calls to external servers and that the loading of the font causes delays in the rendering of the page.
Hi Royaltask,
I don’t think it is Google maps, I have disabled it under Google service settings in the theme. The only think I have is an external link that opens up in a new window: https://www.google.se/maps/place/Aptilo+Networks+AB (Email address hidden if logged out) ,18.0771996,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x465f7826d9e9aadb:0xe5a6eb7fefaa0c6e!8m2!3d59.2942141!4d18.0793883
I don’t think that this call can trigger loading of gstatic.com fonts?
It can’t be any plugin either as gstatic.com call is still there after disabling all plugins.
/
Please what is the status on this? I am not fond of having calls to external domains such as gstatic.com beyond my control.
I have the same question. I tested it (with imagify) and it seemed to work for all elements I use except for the advanced layer slider…….
This is what Imagify support wrote on the matter:
The main thing that could break layout is changing tag to <picture> tag. If you have some CSS code that is strictly connected to and does not cover <picture> at the same time, removing from the source would cause that CSS to be innefective.
I guess you have full control over your CSS code, which would make things easier, as you can simply append the code to cover “picture” as well.
Alternatively, you can choose the “Use .htaccess rule” option from the plugin’s configuration page.

I am not sure that I have that full control over the CSS?Hi Ismael,
I guess what we really are asking for is to have the standard editor’s “heading” with Featured image, Title and date. Then still be able to use the advanced layout editor (ALE) underneath. I have seen the solution to use the standard editor and then insert the ALE elements using the magic wand. This works, but is not very user friendly for the editor.
Is there any shortcodes to retriev the featured image, title and date for the current post? In that case we could use the advanced layout editor and create a “hearting” section as a template containing those three shortcodes.
Hi Ismael, thanks for quick reply.
Hi Josue, do you know what the purpose then is to define a page for the blog under theme options?

May 7, 2018 at 11:22 am in reply to: Enfold 4.3 – Possible problems with the partner/logo element #952610Hi Basilis,
Do you have any feedback yet on this. Currently it is a showstopper for me to upgrade.April 26, 2018 at 5:00 pm in reply to: Enfold 4.3 – Possible problems with the partner/logo element #947355I have now tried to isolate the problem by installing Enfold 4.6 fresh on a new server with no plugins. Same problem, so it cannot be any conflicts with child theme or plugins at least.
April 26, 2018 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Enfold 4.3 – Which CCS/Java Script merger should I use? Enfold or WPO Rocket #947352Thanks Ismael, I think that it should be some difference since you are just optimising within the Enfold theme and WP Rocket does it over all.
I have done some initial tests and come to this:Size Speed score Yslow score #Requests
Everything maximum enabled Enfold+WP R 850 Kb B (84%) C (74%) 33
Everything maximum enabled Enfold+WP R disabled 788 kb B (82%) C (68%) 44Slightly better score with both and significantly less requests. I will continue to test. You may close this case now.
