You shouldn’t lose any content, but importing a different demo will overwrite your current theme settings. If that what you are looking to do, then please try importing the new demo. Don’t forget to create a backup of your current site first though, in case something should go wrong.

Thanks for the login details. Does the same thing happen when the parent theme is active? If not, then you might have to update the files you are overriding in the shortcodes folder in your child theme.
