Are you overriding footer.php and/or header.php in your child theme? If so, then please replace those files with the parent theme files, then add your customisations back in after that.

I can’t really recommend anything unfortunately, I’m not an expert in this field. I personally would try to get the latest possible version. If that is Big Sur, then I would go for that.

You can’t add your own unfortunately, but you can import and export theme settings under Enfold->Import/Export.

Thanks for reaching out to us. There are no free versions of Enfold unfortunately. If you only need a basic site and free theme, then I would suggest that you have a look at the WordPress theme repository: https://wordpress.org/themes/

Do you have access to the Themeforest account which was used to purchase your license? If you don’t, or if you can’t get access to it, then I would recommend that you purchase your own license here.
Once you have access to the theme files, then the update to 5.5 has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

Thanks for that. I had a look, but I can’t see why the content is added at the bottom of the page unfortunately. I see that the code is importing custom styling though, so I’m guessing that’s where it’s coming from. Maybe it would be better if you reached out the authors of the code instead? They should be in a better position to help you out with this problem.
