Hi Vera, it was not the zoom feature that looks relevant.. It was the flexibility in putting pins and notes on a graphic. That looked pretty robust compared to other products I’ve seen.

Hi Vera, you might look at this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/html5-zoomer-plugin-fwd/2613894?s_rank=54

The company makes pretty good products.

We can close. Thanks, as ever, for your quick help!

    Hi Rikard,

Thanks for that. I just figured out that if I go to that media page and click “Screen Option” and then click on “Discussions,” a “Comments” button shows up. I clicked that off, so we’ll see if that works!

Hi Nikko, I have an actual problem again. The Layer Slider is doing what I want it to do, but it is not looping! I plays the one slide and stops. I have cycles set to 99999. I looked the issue up and saw what other user’s were experiencing, but nothing I tried worked. It’s still this page linked below, and the slider named “RAW Test One Slide.”

Can I ask one other thing, since you are in there? The turning Yin Yang in that animation stops after a certain amount of time. The slides keep looping showing the four “characters” over and over, but after the time I set to regulate the speed of the Yin Yang spinning also seems to make it stop, and not start up again. Does that make sense? If you watch the animation for a while you will see the Yin Yang stops. I know this is not really your main thing as it’s not exactly theme related, but I just thought I’d ask in case you had an idea. I’ve made that layer, in the first slide, set to play over the remaining slides, but then . . . it just stops! I’m not figuring out something!

Hey Nikko, thanks so much for figuring that out! I’ve had that happen once or twice over the years, where some page just gets messed up and doesn’t work right. Cheers!

Here ya go, Nikko. Thanks so much for the help!

in reply to: Adding javascript to Head and Body #1257906

Thanks Nikko! That seems to work perfectly.

in reply to: Adding javascript to Head and Body #1257788

Replace with what? And did you mean “and” or “ad?” – “replace all the double ad single quotes”

I think I put in the wrong code above. I’ll attach both the Header code and Body code in this message. The code I’ve been using didn’t have that double script tag.

This code is currently working without a problem on this page: http://www.rawilson.com/about.html
It starts building the random text just after the H3 “About Bob’s Works.”

in reply to: Adding javascript to Head and Body #1257737

Hi Rikard, that didn’t seem to work. I’ve added the Header script via a “Header and Footer Scripts” plugin. I tried adding the Body script in a Code Block and a Text Block and neither one worked. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks as always for your help!!

in reply to: Adding javascript to Head and Body #1257317

Thanks, Nikko, but the script is in two parts: one part is now in the head, but the other part needs to be in the Body. Scroll down to the bottom of the code, and you’ll see the part that goes in the Body. I tried using the Code Block, but that didn’t work.

ehquionest, Switch to the Advanced Layout Builder! It’s the main reason Enfold is such an amazing theme!

in reply to: Lightbox Title text when image is in a Text Block #1202984

    Hi Victoria,

I’m pasting the page link into the Private Content box. It maybe doesn’t show up properly in the comment text box.

in reply to: Lightbox Title text when image is in a Text Block #1202983

    Hi Victoria,

You would think so, but as I said, I added the title to both fields and it still does not show up. If I used the “Image element” from the Media elements, then yes, the title would show up, but I have inserted the images into a Text Block. When you click on the image from within a Text Block, the image opens up in the lightbox, but the title is not there. Check out “Exo Planets Triptych” on this page to see that. The title is in both the caption and title fields in the Media Library (I also put it in the description and the alternative text), but the title does not show up in the lightbox.

You can see the info on the bottom right (6/6) indicating that it is image six on a page with six images, but no title.

    HI Victoria,

Pretty simple. I just want a title for a painting to show up below the image when the image is opened up in Lightbox view – from within a Text Block.

    Here’s a mockup: http://starseedgallery.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/lightbox-scaled.jpg

in reply to: Layerslider navigation button color change #1201418

Ah. So they are. Thanks Jordan. I think I did that once before years ago. I could do that again. Do they get replaced with each theme update?

in reply to: Layerslider previous/next buttons shape and color #1201075

Maybe this post is too old, but I’m trying to change the color of the LayerSlider previous/next buttons, and this code doesn’t seem to work. I wanted a nice gold, like rgba(255,215,0 ,1 )

    Is there CSS that works?

    Many thanks!

stripealipe, Sorry about this, but I was thinking you wanted to arrange your media library. You want a more flexible media gallery. I’ve been using the portfolio galleries for that effect. You can assign categories for portfolio items. Here’s a page of “community members” I created from portfolio items.

Different portfolio items are categorized as “books” and I’ve got modules on different pages displaying books, like on this page, the books pop up when you scroll to that part of the page:

If you want to organize your graphics for a masonry gallery, you could use the Enhanced Media Library to organize your media library and then more easily fill in the masonry gallery as your media library will be categorized for you.

    Hope that helps!

stripealipe, you can label each image with as many “category labels” as you like. Then you choose a category and your Media library then only shows those graphics with that category label. I don’t think you can look at two categories at once, but it’s useful enough for me to filter out all I don’t want to see. Here’s a good video description: https://youtu.be/EL2guNpr8jc

in reply to: Recommended plugins (Updated: 27.8.2018) #1146267

Hi stripealipe, not sure what you are seeing, but I can assign a “category” for each image. An image can be assigned more than one category as well. When I choose to look at that category, all the images show up in a grid. Maybe FLAgallery is more flexible. I’ll have to try it out on one of my websites that doesn’t yet have that kind of plugin. Glad that’s working for you!

    Hi stripealipe,
I’ve been using Enhanced Media Library. You can set categories to filter. Seems to work well.

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Multiple lines of text #1110871

I’m getting the message that I’m up to date with 4.5.4.

“You are running the latest version! (4.5.4) No Updates Available.”

Is the update part of the Enfold dashboard still not working?

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Multiple lines of text #1110867

    Hi Mike,

Thanks. That works for adding the info so that it shows up on the page under the painting thumbnail, but I didn’t want the info there. I just wanted it in the lightbox. On the gallery thumbnails I want just the Titles of the paintings.

This used to work at one time. In your graphic with the two red arrows, I have this code:

    Map to the Unknown<br />2018<br /> Colored and Metallic Pens on Paper <br />8.5″ x 11″

in the box that the left red arrow is pointing to. Putting the info there used to make it show up under the painting in the lightbox.

Any idea how to get back to that?

in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder not working with Posts #1095927

Thanks, Victoria, but one main function, to have some text on the blog index page doesn’t work. Seems like a pretty basic feature to lose.

in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder not working with Posts #1094518

Thanks Jordan. I’m wondering, how do you use the Layout Builder with blog posts? Or is that just not possible with Enfold? I can’t figure out why there would be a “Read more” button added just because I used the Layout Builder. Seems like that would make Avia useless for posts.

in reply to: Advanced Layout Builder not working with Posts #1094132

Thanks Victoria, but I think I figured it out on my own. The Avia Layout Builder doesn’t work with posts. Is that the story? I turned off the Layout Builder, and the featured image showed up along with all the text.

All set! Thanks for your help!

in reply to: Enfold will not update within the theme #1045177

Thanks Rikard! Keep the Lasagna Flying!

in reply to: Enfold will not update within the theme #1044628

Thanks Victoria, but that page does not address the current issue in relation to the plugin: “Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File” that I asked about.

However, I was able to use the plugin to update the theme.
I am wondering if this will be the process in the future, or will the Update Theme button be fixed?
