Hi Ismael, I’m still struggling with this, and I apologize for my ignorance. I recently read this comment on a blog where they were reviewing our new podcast series. The reviewer wrote…

The podcast is available at Podbean, Spotify, Google and TuneIn; I still think it ought to be searchable from any podcasting app. That’s the standard for podcasts that aspire to a large audience. I just checked, and it’s still not available at the Podkicker app; I had to download Podbean to listen to it in my car.

Maybe he just doesn’t know how to set up his browser?
I’m not really sure what’s going on here. I set up the RSS Reader in Chrome, and it does open first the XML file, but then a popup says, “This is a feed” and it lists our posts. Any idea why the review is having such trouble? Do we need to list the feed with Podkicker in order for this guy to be happy? I’d like to write to the guy on his blog and explain the situation, but I’m not sure what to tell him. Any suggestions?- This reply was modified 3 years, 1 month ago by rasa.
We can close. Thanks, as ever, for your quick help!
Hi Rikard,
Thanks for that. I just figured out that if I go to that media page and click “Screen Option” and then click on “Discussions,” a “Comments” button shows up. I clicked that off, so we’ll see if that works!
November 10, 2020 at 4:24 am in reply to: Layer Slider not showing up on page after Layer Slider warning arrives #1259453Hi Nikko, I have an actual problem again. The Layer Slider is doing what I want it to do, but it is not looping! I plays the one slide and stops. I have cycles set to 99999. I looked the issue up and saw what other user’s were experiencing, but nothing I tried worked. It’s still this page linked below, and the slider named “RAW Test One Slide.”

The turning Yin Yang in that animation stops after a certain amount of time. The slides keep looping showing the four “characters” over and over, but after the time I set to regulate the speed of the Yin Yang spinning also seems to make it stop, and not start up again. Does that make sense? If you watch the animation for a while you will see the Yin Yang stops. I know this is not really your main thing as it’s not exactly theme related, but I just thought I’d ask in case you had an idea. I’ve made that layer, in the first slide, set to play over the remaining slides, but then . . . it just stops! I’m not figuring out something!

Thanks Nikko! That seems to work perfectly.
Replace with what? And did you mean “and” or “ad?” – “replace all the double ad single quotes”
I think I put in the wrong code above. I’ll attach both the Header code and Body code in this message. The code I’ve been using didn’t have that double script tag.
This code is currently working without a problem on this page: http://www.rawilson.com/about.html
It starts building the random text just after the H3 “About Bob’s Works.”Hi Rikard, that didn’t seem to work. I’ve added the Header script via a “Header and Footer Scripts” plugin. I tried adding the Body script in a Code Block and a Text Block and neither one worked. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks as always for your help!!
Thanks, Nikko, but the script is in two parts: one part is now in the head, but the other part needs to be in the Body. Scroll down to the bottom of the code, and you’ll see the part that goes in the Body. I tried using the Code Block, but that didn’t work.
ehquionest, Switch to the Advanced Layout Builder! It’s the main reason Enfold is such an amazing theme!
Hi Victoria,
I’m pasting the page link into the Private Content box. It maybe doesn’t show up properly in the comment text box.
Hi Victoria,
You would think so, but as I said, I added the title to both fields and it still does not show up. If I used the “Image element” from the Media elements, then yes, the title would show up, but I have inserted the images into a Text Block. When you click on the image from within a Text Block, the image opens up in the lightbox, but the title is not there. Check out “Exo Planets Triptych” on this page to see that. The title is in both the caption and title fields in the Media Library (I also put it in the description and the alternative text), but the title does not show up in the lightbox.
You can see the info on the bottom right (6/6) indicating that it is image six on a page with six images, but no title.
HI Victoria,
Pretty simple. I just want a title for a painting to show up below the image when the image is opened up in Lightbox view – from within a Text Block.
Here’s a mockup: http://starseedgallery.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/lightbox-scaled.jpg
Ah. So they are. Thanks Jordan. I think I did that once before years ago. I could do that again. Do they get replaced with each theme update?
Maybe this post is too old, but I’m trying to change the color of the LayerSlider previous/next buttons, and this code doesn’t seem to work. I wanted a nice gold, like rgba(255,215,0 ,1 )
Is there CSS that works?
Many thanks!
I’m getting the message that I’m up to date with 4.5.4.
“You are running the latest version! (4.5.4) No Updates Available.”
Is the update part of the Enfold dashboard still not working?
Hi Mike,
Thanks. That works for adding the info so that it shows up on the page under the painting thumbnail, but I didn’t want the info there. I just wanted it in the lightbox. On the gallery thumbnails I want just the Titles of the paintings.
This used to work at one time. In your graphic with the two red arrows, I have this code:
Map to the Unknown<br />2018<br /> Colored and Metallic Pens on Paper <br />8.5″ x 11″
in the box that the left red arrow is pointing to. Putting the info there used to make it show up under the painting in the lightbox.
Any idea how to get back to that?
Thanks, Victoria, but one main function, to have some text on the blog index page doesn’t work. Seems like a pretty basic feature to lose.
Thanks Jordan. I’m wondering, how do you use the Layout Builder with blog posts? Or is that just not possible with Enfold? I can’t figure out why there would be a “Read more” button added just because I used the Layout Builder. Seems like that would make Avia useless for posts.
Thanks Victoria, but I think I figured it out on my own. The Avia Layout Builder doesn’t work with posts. Is that the story? I turned off the Layout Builder, and the featured image showed up along with all the text.
All set! Thanks for your help!
Thanks Rikard! Keep the Lasagna Flying!
Thanks Victoria, but that page does not address the current issue in relation to the plugin: “Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File” that I asked about.
However, I was able to use the plugin to update the theme.
I am wondering if this will be the process in the future, or will the Update Theme button be fixed? Thanks! That fixed the same issue that cropped up today!
May 4, 2018 at 5:46 am in reply to: After updating to Enfold version! (4.3.1) Layer Slider is not working. #951309Hi Rikard,
In reading through the notes on the new update, I took out the LayerSlider shortcode and put in a LayerSlider module from the layout builder. However on another page, I had a LayerSlider in a ¾ width box, using the shortcode. The module in the layout builder is only full screen, so I followed the advice on another thread where a number of folks have the same issue:
I put in a blank LayerSlider, 1px high, and then the ¾ LayerSlider started working again. I didn’t use the CSS fix the fellow suggested, but I may.
I took Vrout’s advice and put a 1px tall blank LayerSlider at the bottom of the page. Now the ⅔ size LayerSlider at the top of the page works, using the shortcode. An easy fix, but I’d still love to hear from Kriesi about a permanent fix.
Vrout, thanks for the idea. What would the CSS be, exactly, to affect one blank layerslider on a specific page?
It seems that you can not put the Advanced LayerSlider into a frame. It has to sit, full width, by itself. Or at least that’s what I’m finding. I have layer sliders that are ⅔ or ½ width. HOW DO I GET THEM TO WORK WITHOUT THE SHORTCODE?????
