NikkoSeptember 23, 2020 at 2:23 pm in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1247877Hi vossenm,
– About the child theme, can I just activate it again after the manual update to the latest Enfold them? Will it just use the current Enfold theme with some extra CSS?
If you switch to your child theme and noticed there are some things that are different, please do the following:
– Go to Enfold Theme Options > Import/Export > Import Settings From Your Parent Theme and import– Today I tried again to connect to Envato and now it works, is it a known problem perhaps that sometimes the Envato site doesn’t work correctly on their end? Because I really haven’t changed anything, but glad it’s working again now!
– There are some people experiencing this issue, most likely it’s some connectivity or server issues.– I’m looking for the place to change the text in the bottom left of teh frontpage that says “© 2016 Copyright – Mediwiet – Totaal aantal bezoekers: [wpstatistics stat=visitors time=total]” , I think it was somewhere in the Enfold Theme options but I can’t find it now?
– You should be able to find it in Enfold > Footer > Copyright.Best regards,

Thanks so much for your kind words :)
Thanks again for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,
NikkoHi DimitriMTM,
Yes, for the featured image there’s the Image element, for title there’s Special Heading and for the categories, just use Widget Area so it uses those widgets assigned.
I hope that helps.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 23, 2020 at 7:18 am in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1247775Hi Marcel,
I’m glad to hear that improvement :)
As for Enfold, it’s never changed its name as far as I know and as for that child theme you mentioned it does contain some CSS tweaks. As for your important question: Yes, that’s possible now. Go to Enfold > Import/Export > Export Layout Builder Templates.
And on the site that should import, go to Enfold > Import/Export > Import Layout Builder Templates File.
Everything is copied however you need to re-upload images if it includes some.Best regards,

Thanks for giving us admin access.
The missing Magic Wand Tool in the Visual Editor for Text Block is caused by this plugin: FooEvents for WooCommerce
If you deactivate that plugin, you should see the magic wand tool showing properly.Best regards,
NikkoHi premiumpsu,
I tried to login however it doesn’t work, please check:
ERROR: Incorrect username or password. After re-checking your site I noticed that you’re using Portfolio Grid which doesn’t have the option.
In order to add it, you’ll need to override the current portfolio grid using the instructions in https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#add-elements-to-alb
You’ll need to copy this folder wp-content > themes > enfold > config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > portfolio to the shortcodes folder of the child theme.
Then modify portfolio.php and find this code (go to line 1022):$output .= "<div class='grid-entry-excerpt entry-content' {$markup}>{$excerpt}</div>";below it add:
$output .= '<a href="' . get_the_permalink($the_id) . '" rel="nofollow">Read More</a>';Hope it helps.
Best regards,
Nikko-

Hi devesuki,
I see, please go to Appearance > Menus, then select Main Menu.
After it’s selected, go to the bottom near the Save Menu button, check Enfold Main Menu.
As for the loading time since it’s in localhost, I’m not really sure why that happens since images, js and css files should be loaded locally as well.Best regards,

NikkoHey Ramon,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked your site specifically the 2 links you gave and since there’s no js error in the variation it’s pretty difficult to know why it’s not working.
Inspecting the element points at the right element so there’s no blocking it with an invisible div or other element.
Can you try to setup a staging site for us? it’s a duplicate of your live site placed in your subdomain for the purpose of testing without risking your live site.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/Best regards,
NikkoHi Anna,
Can you try adding this code in QUick CSS, located in Enfold > General Styling? (this is to hide the tooltip)
#top .avia-google-maps .gm-style-iw-t { display: none !important; }Best regards,
NikkoHi iddavidson,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
Custom Text Block is not part of the original elements in Advanced Layout Builder and is a custom made one.
I have checked your child theme and it av_customtextblock is not defined there.
Most probably it was added in the parent theme (Enfold) and lost during the theme update.
If you have a backup of the Enfold theme before the update, you should be able to add it again to your child theme.Best regards,
NikkoHi MartinA78,
I have checked on it as well and I can also see the same issue, and looking at the web console, it shows admin-ajax is returning 500 Internal Server Error.
The fix is commonly to increase memory limit, but since you’re already using 256MB it should be enough with the plugins you have.
Can you try to switch PHP version from 7.0.33 to 7.3? since that version is already obsolete, try to check if you can get some improvement with it.Best regards,
NikkoHi rachelryerson,
I’m glad to hear that :)
Thanks for using Enfold and have a great day!Best regards,

The link should allow us to login just by clicking it.
Please go to Users > Temporary Logins, then click on the Link (chain) icon on the right side.
It should produce a link similar to the one in private content.Best regards,
NikkoHi premiumpsu,
Can you give us the login link as well? I tried the 3 common login links but I can’t find the login form.

NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 3:17 pm in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1247382Hi vossenm,
What you said does make a lot of sense. If it’s already corrupted before the backup then most probably some parts are unreadable.
Also if the live site is only 130MB and the cloned site is 300MB then something is definitely wrong there though I really can’t explain why that should happen but maybe fix the database first in the live site then backup.Best regards,
NikkoHi Manfred,
Can you give us a temporary admin access? as well as cPanel access, so we can inspect on it further.
Just post the credentials in private content.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 3:09 pm in reply to: advanced editor not working after wordpress upgrade #1247376Hi kvb,
No worries :)
If the name is changed via child theme then it shouldn’t affect anything.
But if it’s the parent theme, I haven’t actually thought of it until now.
If it’s just the folder name that’s changed, I think there are two possibilities, first is that it will work out smoothly (if style.css isn’t changed) the other possibility is it will just create another enfold folder.Best regards,
NikkoHi Shihan,
I’m glad you switched to another server and happy to hear everything is working properly.
Just let us know if you need further assistance.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 3:56 am in reply to: Enfold site seems to overload the server every time I try to edit a page #1247236Hi Marcel,
Each change do involve certain risks, that’s why we recommend to always have a backup, the database is no exception, you can follow this tutorial for backing up the database: https://support.managed.com/kb/a2034/how-to-backup-and-or-restore-your-mysql-database-using-phpmyadmin.aspx
However, I have never experienced any issues with database repair before but I could not say with complete certainty that this would not happen at all (just do everything with caution).
With your description that is also possible, but I think the best way for now is to remove the corrupted images and just re-add them if the database repair doesn’t help.Best regards,
NikkoHi shihanze,
I apologize I wasn’t able to login this weekend.
As for the screenshot, you should be able to provide it with the instructions given above.
I could still try some things but I will need the temporary login extended.
If you do wish for a refund then please do a Refund Request in envato as they handle all the sales-related matter, once it’s initiated and passed over to us, we will process it.Best regards,
NikkoSeptember 21, 2020 at 3:32 am in reply to: Color section – color overlay overlaps on other elements #1247218Hi barrystrauss,
Thanks for providing the link, however, we’ll need to inspect the backend.
Can you create a separate thread? and do the instructions above, the reason we’ll need a separate thread is because private content can be both viewed by moderators as well as the thread creator.Best regards,
NikkoHi SimonePols,
Thanks, I have seen it and when I click on it, it actually does nothing.
No one should be able to modify it unless they are in the Editor level or the Author of that post.Best regards,
