Sounds like a good Idea. Thanks Devin. But there is no 3/5 content element available ;-)

Thanks Devin.
Small correction if I may ;-)
I figured out the caption text and title slide in (from left and right) if I set the slider transition to “slide” and it fade-slides in (from top and bottom) if I set it to “fade”
Anyway it´s awesome.
Cheers
MichaelAnd in case of an Entypo character? You can´t just replace the background image URL with the character code, right?
Cheers
MichaelI guess I got the “issue”. It seems to be the slider transition (fade or slide) that also effects the animation of the caption. Am I right?
I´d be interested too how that can be done the best way

It works. I forgot to add the CSS class .avia-font-entypo-fontello.
Awesome!

And sorry I didn´t realize I could edit my entry without posting and posting ;-)
September 13, 2013 at 8:28 am in reply to: Using the Fonttype Social Media Icons in single Posts #140642The embeded code destroyed the Character I used for the Twitter icon. It is of course
September 13, 2013 at 8:27 am in reply to: Using the Fonttype Social Media Icons in single Posts #140641Thanks Josue. But it doesn´t seem to work.
<a class="socialshareing_twitter" title="Bei Twitter empfehlen" href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?source=webclient&text=<?php echo rawurlencode(strip_tags(get_the_title())) ?>%20<?php echo wp_get_shortlink(); ?>" target="blank"> Twitter</a>
I tried it for Twitter (example) and it delivers a “broken” icon

Other ideas anyone?
Thanks for the response. I already use W3Total Cache with minification and browser caching. And that works very good. Most of the query strings come from W3TC and you are right Dude I will not try to get rid of them because they surely make sense.
My page speed currently is at 87% which is quite a good value I think.
Hi Devin,
any suggestions for such a Plugin (to put JS to the footer)?
– Michael
In many cases the Logo will become very small when scrolling the page or in mobile (iPhone) view. So it would be great to have an option to add a second logo for smaller views.
Look for an example at my site http://www.der-prinz.de/
My logo consists of text and a graphical element (the little crown on top of the “i”). In smaller views I would only display a larger version of the crown instead of the full text logo which becomes hard to read.
I hope it´s clear what I mean and I hope this option is interesting enough to find its way into enfold.

Here we go with my two sites
I had my own theme for the two sites almost finished when I stumbled over Enfold and found this is the perfect theme for me. So I decided to drop my own development and started using Enfold.
How about addng a box to the theme settings page that allows me to add codesnippets to the footer? For example when I want to add an external Javascript now I need to use the Google Analytics box. That works but in many cases it would be better to have those external scripts on bottom and not on top of the page.
Last time…I promise.
It worked now. Almost perfect. The Menu assignment did not work and the widget where a bit messed up but that´s not a big deal.
Thanks for an awesome theme.
– Michael
And again it´s me ;-)
Now I installed the version 2.1 and activated my child theme. I pressed the green import button but literally nothing happens. At least I can´t see any indication of a progress.
Any ideas?
Cheers
-Michael
Me again. I just saw that there is such an option in the very latest version 2.1.
“added import parent theme settings button for child themes”
Can that be done with version 2.0.1 as well? That would really help a lot
Cheers
– Michael
Got it. Thanks.
Edit: Found the caption, text and link setting but I can´t see how to add the button. Any hint?
Awesome Ismael and thanks for that. But on the second slide of your demo there is a text and button flying in and I can´t find an option to add text to the fullscreen slider.
– Michael
Awesome. But when I activate the child theme all my former theme settings are gone. Is there an option to export them enfold theme settings I made at the themes options page and import them once I activated the child theme?
But what about the new Update-from-backend function that was introduced in version 2.0? Can I use this function even if I have made changes to the custom.css and the functions.php files?
Or is there a way to use a child theme?
– Michael
Ismael,
thanks that works great. Have a good weekend.
Cheers
Michael
Thanks Dude. Works perfect.
Thanks guys.

not the perfect solution doing it with display:none tricks but it works.
Thanks

June 2, 2013 at 11:55 am in reply to: Where to modify the look of WooCommerce shop pages in Enfold #121996Thanks Devin,
Meanwhile I can show the URL http://www.der-prinz.com/purchase/
Can you pls tell me where exactly the layout of the shop overview page is defined in Enfold? Or better said where is the output of the sidebar defined? What I want to do is having a shop overview page with no sidebar and three or four product columns on a full width page.
A bit like this one http://www.der-prinz.de/shop/ (my German site which will become “Enfolded” quite soon as well)
Thanks
Michael
My bad I got something completely wrong. I was thinking about rem rules not em. And furthermore I didn´t realize that
font:13px/1.65em
is shorthand CSS for
font-size:13px
line-height:1.65em
So there are absolute font sizes used instead of relative. Got it now.
Nice trick but isn´t there a setting instead of a display:none trick? And where does this title come from in single posts?
