You’re welcome. I have a skeleton site up to workout layout issues so its prime for testing things like that. The only active plugin at the moment is Yoast so it narrows things down dramatically. ;-)
Jeroen0517 – you realize this is a Yoast issue not an Kriesi issue right? I just tested the traffic light and you are correct, its not working but that is the case if I use the 2015 theme as well.
Rikard,
I had a feeling you guys were on top of it. Thank you! You rock and Enfold is the best theme I have found yet! Not that I am even looking anymore…
Cornelius,
I happen to have clean install of WP 4.6 with Enfold 3.7.1 loaded. The only thing loaded other than the theme and WordPress was a single image where I am trying to work out a background layout, no posts, or anything other than Hello. I took the opportunity to test the Yoast SEO plugin based on your comment above. I got nothing, it works fine.
I would guess that you have a secondary conflict, for example Yoast and ABC123 loaded and when both are active the advanced editor isn’t loading. I’m no programer but I would suggest setting up a subdomain on the same server, do a clean install and start adding your current plugins starting with Yoast. After each one is activated try to activate the advanced editor. That should lead you to the secondary conflict. I would then post to both Yoast and the other plugin’s forums explaining how you tested and what happened.
There is also the possibility that something on the server is messing with your serenity but that testing is beyond me.
PS – Here is something that has what I want, different theme but the right effect.
http://sanchezariasphotography.comIn fact, I need to recreate both the static background and transparent overlay for this client as well. I am working the this layout with the 21st license I purchased yesterday.
So in addition to the transparent layout, I also need to do this static background. This site is being built on the domain in Private Content. I will create a login for you there as well.
Basically I need the same thing for both sites. I would prefer you test on the site mentioned in private content below as that site has no content.
User IID has been updated. sorry about that.
The best I have for a mockup is the person who was able to achieve this: http://litc.be/wp-content/uploads/wp_left_top_transparency_navigation.jpg
This was done with Enfold but the person never mentions how. The parts of the thread showing that code are not viewable.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I never received an email that you replied. hmm… My email sucks.
That worked!
Thank you Yigit!
FYI the product page is to an existing product. I just wanted to show the link working.
Thank you!
Yigit,
Here is a link to a faux gallery page with he same basic setup as the screen shot. Only the first image has the link included. When you click on the image and open it in Lightbox you will see that link in the name area.
In meetings this morning but I will try and let you know as soon as its up. Probably a few hours.
Yigit,
That site is live so I can’t turn it on and leave it on. At the moment I am not in a place where I can rebuild that but so you know what I did was create a link in a test page that linked to a product page and pasted that code into the image name field in the avia gallery builder and the link worked.
The goal is to switch that link into a button and I can’t get the short-code to work in that space to show the button. Am I doing something wrong?
Yigit,
I am able to put a href link in the name field of the image that shows in the lightbox view but I would like to replace it with a button like so:
http://www.jackzigon.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/BuyNowSample.jpg
The idea is the change the “Buy Now” text (circled in red) with the blue & white button which should be in roughly the same spot as the text link. The trick will be to keep the image name too as the client is using this as a SKU number too.

Thank you!
Perfection!

Perfect! Thank you!
Done. See private content.
There are only three plugins loaded and only two active, disable if needed.
Hi Vinay,
That is most likely the issue. I have uploaded an image with the changes here:
http://newjewelry.sonyasanchezarias.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Changes.jpg
The blue was discovered using Firebug in Firefox. The red is the relational change if the blue outlined area is edited, which i am almost certain is what you found. Below is the code relating to the find, with the area in question in bold.
<div id=”header_main” class=”container_wrap container_wrap_logo”>
<div class=”container av-logo-container”>
<div class=”inner-container”>
<strong class=”logo”>
<nav class=”main_menu” itemtype=”https://schema.org/SiteNavigationElement” itemscope=”itemscope” role=”navigation” data-selectname=”Select a page”>
<div class=”avia-menu av-main-nav-wrap”>
<ul id=”avia-menu” class=”menu av-main-nav”>
<li id=”menu-item-48″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-12 current_page_item menu-item-top-level menu-item-top-level-1″>
<li id=”menu-item-50″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-top-level menu-item-top-level-2″>
<li id=”menu-item-421″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-has-children menu-item-top-level menu-item-top-level-3 dropdown_ul_available”>
<ul class=”sub-menu” style=”display: block; opacity: 0; visibility: hidden;”><li id=”menu-item-54″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-mega-parent menu-item-top-level menu-item-top-level-4″>
<li id=”menu-item-49″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-top-level menu-item-top-level-5″>
<li id=”menu-item-search” class=”noMobile menu-item menu-item-search-dropdown”></div>
</nav>
</div>
</div>Thank you!
PS – all custom code has been removed but the “Custom Header Size” option is still set to 300 under Header Options.
PSS – The client requires the large logo size of 300.

NOTE: I found that the area size for the menu is exactly the same size as the header size, in this case 300px no matter where the menu is positioned. This explains the default of the menu being centered by the theme.
This changes the question to, are the header and menu sizes defined together in the same div or are they separate? Either way can you save me the trouble of reading every line to find the definitions? I believe that the menu size is set to relative and that is the portion I need to edit. I would rather be sure than break it.
Vinay,
I really don’t have that many rules applied. In fact other than position the only non-default setting in the header is the size of the header to accommodate the large logo. Even if I remove all quick CSS (no other CSS has been edited/added outside of options within the theme), the huge gape between the menu and the submenu remains.
I took two screenshots to show this. The first is with the .main_menu CSS edits and the second is with zero quick CSS, only the header area set to a height of 300, the max allowed in the theme Header options. note that the sub menu is way down in the body area and not close to the main menu at all.
First with the code you sent:
http://newjewelry.sonyasanchezarias.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Screen-Shot-2016-03-20-at-10.08.43-PM.png
Now with the default:
http://newjewelry.sonyasanchezarias.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Screen-Shot-2016-03-20-at-10.09.30-PM.pngEven if I remove the logo, set the header size to Slim, there is still a large, but acceptable, distance to the sub menu.
http://newjewelry.sonyasanchezarias.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Screen-Shot-2016-03-20-at-10.22.09-PM.pngI have purchased 11 licenses and this is the first time this is an issue. Most of the other sites have the divider between the Main Menu and the Sub Menu which makes that separation less obvious, and many have custom header sizes.
Is the submenu set to be the header height lower than the menu or how is that coded? If it were to be X pixels below the boarder it wouldn’t change position with the menu position.
The position of the sub menu seems to be relational to the size of the header, is that correct? If so, is this set in the style.css file?
PS – this seems to be only due to the client having a large logo. Even if the code i mentioned is removed the menu starts a ridiculous distance from the actual menu. Can’t we tighten that up?

Basilis,
So you’re saying that there is no simple way to bring the sub menu up into the proper position without custom coding?
All fixed. You can close the ticket.
Thank you!
That fixed this map! I think all 4 maps have the issue. I will go through them all as the clint called and said she is going to be 30 minutes late. It will give me something to do while waiting. ;-)
Could have sworn I checked all of them before. Guess I missed one.
Yigit,
In the time it took you guys to look the client changed the zoom to 15. When I reset it to “Set zoom to show all markers” I see the attached. The client is due in my office in 5 minutes but I will leave it at this setting for as long as possible.
Here is the link. Please view it soon as the client wants to go live next week.
http://dev.johnneillpainting.com/testimonials/main-line-philadelphia/Plugins installed and active:
Gravity Forms
Yoast SEO
JetpackToggling these off did not fix the issue.
Additionally the Contact menu has a totally different (and in correct) layout. WTF happened?
Perfect! Thank you!
Thank you! That was driving me nuts.
Perfect! You rock! That is exactly what I needed.
Thank you Elliot! That worked really well.
Do you know of a way to have them on the same line as the text above or is that pushing my luck?
