Yes, I have. And I have updated to the latest version of Enfold.
I was able to correct the issue. Thank you.
I put in my username and API key and things seem to be back to normal.
:)
I have the latest version of enfold installed, and just for good measure, i just reinstalled it from the download at themeforest.
I removed the background image and that did not help.
I have also tried to troubleshoot with the plugins and that did not help either.
Great. Thanks Yigit. Looks like we collectively figured out the root cause. Hope Envato is able to get things sorted out.
Rikard – The temporary workaround of removing the username/API seems to work in the interim. I am hoping the API issues are resolved soon so we do not have to apply the updates manually. Keep us posted on what you hear about the resolution of this issue.
No, I would not say it resolves the problem; it is just a temporary workaround. Now, all Enfold updates need to be performed manually. That said, the error is no longer popping up.
I did, it is here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/very-slow-admin-back-end
Andy – the exact site link is: theartofadvice.com
The first top color section is supposed to be a video background vs the static image.
See below for login details.
Yes, I am using the latest and greatest version.

samharry –
Savings/updating posts is slower than normal and certainly a lot slower than on other sites on my server using a different theme. I updated a few posts and it did take much longer than typical but it did eventually work.
The white screen of death has happened to me once before… Not sure if it’s the same root cause but in my case the iThemes Security (formerly Better WordPress Security) File Change Detection feature was bombing out. I eventually disabled that one feature and it worked. Not the case for me this time.
Also, I am unsure if this is related but the Vimeo script that was fixed with the last release does not seem to work anymore. It is just displaying my fallback static image rather than the vimeo video. Again, not sure if this is related but just noticed it now that I am done troubleshooting the update-core.php issue.
samharry – that worked for me too.
I can now get to the update-core.php page.
Obviously there is something wrong with the theme update functionality.
Would love to hear from someone at Kriesi about this issue.
Still not resolved but…
I went to: /public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/auto-updates/class-pixelentity-theme-update.php
…and checked out the file…
There was a bit of commented out “debug code”
// to debug
// set_site_transient(‘update_themes’,null);So I uncommented out the code…
// to debug
set_site_transient(‘update_themes’,null);and then the WHOLE ADMIN SITE came to a screeching halt, not just the update core.
When I commented the code back, the rest of the admin site came back up.
Still unresolved but trying to troubleshoot.
Yep! Same here.
I am seeing the same error and have logged a similar issue in the forum.
I’ve been playing around with the site and trying to troubleshoot all night. Can’t seem to make any progress but I have narrowed the issue to the fact that I cannot navigate to ‘update-core.php’
The site seems to timeout and the only error I seem to get is the one related to: class-pixelentity-theme-update.php
HELP PLEASE!
Must have been some plugin that was messing things up. Just tried again and everything is working great.
I upgraded to WordPress 4.1 and the Layerslider photos were not showing up. There were also some alignment issues with the content slider alignment. So, had to roll back to previous version of WordPress to get things right again. Eagerly awaiting fixes and/or new version of enfold to fix compatibility issues.
Thanks!
Worked like a charm! Thank you!!!!
Yigit – You’re a genius! That did it. Thank you so much for your help!
Sorry about that!
Here you go….
BLURRY
NOT BLURRY
Thanks Ismael. I thought I got rid of that error. I still need to do some troubleshooting on that. If you refresh a few times, it should right itself…
Here are the screen shots of the two iPhone text sliders. One is totally fine, the other is blurry.

Not Blurry
Thank you!

Hi There – Just ran across this issue myself and found this handy plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/
Works like a charm for me!
Hi There – I found the solution. I left the settings as-is and added a background image as the first layer vs a true background image. Seems to work in IE9 now. Weird bug…
Fantastic job Michael! Thank you for this solution. As I stated in my thread (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/pagination-issue/#post-249977), THANK YOU for offering this up!
Gratefully,
JustinMichael – You are a genius! It worked! I could have sworn I tried that combination of settings but I suppose I needed to read your crystal clear steps in black and white. Thanks a million for staying connected to this thread and bringing and end to my ongoing madness.
All the best to you!

Michael – Thank you for validating! I thought I was going crazy here. I have been trying to troubleshoot this for weeks since I discovered it was not working on my site. I sure hope a fix for this is released soon as it seems like such a basic feature. Until then, I may have to show many 50+ posts on the page and turn off pagination.
Many thanks for confirming I am not crazy. : )
Hi Ismael – Unfortunately it did not work. I tried doing these steps multiple times.

Hi David – I tried to recreate and back up the site and still have the same pagination issues.
Hi David – Thanks for the reply. I deactivated all plugins, reset the permalinks and still nothing. I am hesitant to do a fresh install as the site is live.
Any other suggestions or pointers?
