Hi!
1) No, unfortunately the product issue is not connected to the portfolio items. I re-added the code to your functions.php to use the “default” permalinks instead of the “pretty” permalinks and the products still give me a 404 error. Personally I suggest to switch to another host because the issue is (again) connected to you pretty permalink settings and the products only work when you use the default permalink. You can easily test this btw – the default product url works: http://berlinguitartrio.de/?product=berlinguitartrio-au-coeur-de-loreille wherwas the pretty permalink doesn’t: http://berlinguitartrio.de/product/berlinguitartrio-au-coeur-de-loreille/
2) Yes, you need to select the category. I did it for an entry here: http://berlinguitartrio.de/?portfolio=aurelie-oliveros&lang=fr but you must do it for all entries. Open the “editor page”, click on the “Portfolio Raster” element and select the category/ies you want to show. Then save the page and the grid will pop up :)

PeterHi!
Try following code:
$current = ($the_id == $parent) ? 'current_page_item' : 'current_page_item_parent'; $sidebar_menu .= '<li class="page_item page-item-'.$parent.' '.$current.'">'; $sidebar_menu .= '<a href="'.get_permalink($parent).'">'.get_the_title($parent).'</a></li>'; $sidebar_menu .= $children;

PeterHi!
Tbh if you want to use a buddypress theme you would need to abandon Enfold completely because it’s probably more work to implement the Enfold features into another theme than adding buddypress support to Enfold. If you want to stick with Enfold I recommend to hire someone who can help you to implement buddypress. If you decide to use buddypress with Enfold please keep me posted (i.e. here or send me a mail to (Email address hidden if logged out) ) because I would be interested to work on a “BuddyPress compatibility plugin” (which is based on your customized code) or to merge your changes with the core theme files (depends on the customized code). Maybe some other users may profit from the buddypress integration too and you can be sure that we take care of the buddypress compatibility in the future when we update Enfold…
Cheers!

You can add a slideshow as a shortcode to the shop page. Go to Pages > All Pages and search for the shop page. Click on edit, use the “Visual” editor and click on the magic wand icon. Then select Media Elements > Easy Slider and configure the slider. Afterwards insert it into the page content and save the page. The slider will be displayed above the product page grid. Note that you can’t add a fullwidth slider or color section to the shop page because these elements require a special template which is not compatible with the default woocommerce shop template.
Cheers!
PeterHi!
You must use the “Fullwidth Masonry” element (can be found in the “Content Elements” tab). The masonry gallery can’t display products (or any other post type like portfolio entries) but you can use it for images.
Best regards,
PeterHi!
The amount of data depends on the server configuration (especially on the php.ini configuration and the post_max_size value and the memor_limit value). Normally it’s set to something between 32 megabyte and 128 megabyte but it may vary from host to host. I recommend to try to import the data on a test server. If it fails you can delete the database and use a smaller import file.
Regards,
PeterHey netinfoplc!
Unfortunately we have no experience with this plugin and maybe you can’t stack the shortcodes. I recommend to contact the plugin author or to use the gallery with the standard tabs.
Best regards,
PeterHey crevlon!
1) Verwende folgenden CSS Code
#top .avia-button-row .avia-button-wrap .avia-button { font-size: 20px; }
2) Verwende folgenden CSS Code
.pricing-table .first-table-item { color: #ff0000; }
3) Hinter dem Wert (zB 20, 30, etc) füge diesen Code ein:
<span class="currency-symbol">$</span>
und tausche das $ Zeichen gegen dein Währungssymbol aus.

PeterFebruary 7, 2014 at 10:30 am in reply to: Portfolio categories translations (WPML) – not working #220832Hi!
Try to use the Widget Logic plugin to show different widgets for different languages: http://wpml.org/2011/03/howto-display-different-widgets-per-language/
Regards,
PeterHey!
Diese Seite zeigt die Demo in einem Iframe an – vielleicht ist dies der Grund, warum die Druckvorschau anders aussieht. Versuche einmal den Originallink: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/
Cheers!
PeterHey Yura!
Please elaborate – what do you mean with “best size”? Do you want to change the size of the thumbnails or do you need a hint regarding the
amount of data (= size of the import file)?Regards,
PeterHi!
1) Yes WPML will take care of that. The flags won’t be displayed if no translation exists.
2) WPML is the only plugin which we officially support at the moment. However I now started to test this plugin: http://marketpress.com/product/multilingual-press-pro/?noredirect=en because some users asked me if I can recommend the plugin and version 1.1 also worked for me when I used it with Enfold.
Cheers!
PeterHi!
It works now. I translated the “biography” word to be sure that the right category is selected in the “portfolio” modal/option box and then I saved all entries again. Now all entries are displayed.
Best regards,
PeterHey davidrk!
No, by default only the child pages will be displayed. If you want to show the parent page open up enfold/functions-enfold.php and replace
$sidebar_menu .= $children;
with
$sidebar_menu .= '<li class="page_item page-item-'.$parent.' current_page_item_parent">'; $sidebar_menu .= '<a href="'.get_permalink($parent).'">'.get_the_title($parent).'</a></li>'; $sidebar_menu .= $children;
Cheers!
PeterHi!
I recommend to contact werkpress: http://werkpress.com/ or to search for a freelancer here: http://www.microlancer.com/ because we do not have any plans to support buddypress at the moment. You can also try WP Symposium but we didn’t test this plugin and it will probably require a theme code customization too. If you’re in a hurry and/or if your budget is low I suggest to search for a buddypress theme here: http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/buddypress

Ah ok – please try to increase the allocated php mermory to 128M. Please see http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/
Regards,
PeterHi!
Yes, seems to be a good solution because the “avia-center-col” class is only used for tables and you won’t provoke any side effects.
Regards,
PeterHi SimonCarpentier!
This seems to be a limitation of the default oembed api: http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds which we use to embed the videos. If I paste the video directly into the content (without the av_video shortcode) and switch to the default theme I can still reproduce the issue. You can try to install a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ – maybe it takes care of the right protocol/prefix of embeds too.

PeterFebruary 6, 2014 at 9:36 am in reply to: Enfold > Masonry Blog > Add "Read More…" to hover info #220380Hi David!
Open up wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/masonry_entries.php and replace
$this->loop[$key]['text_after'] .= $this->loop[$key]['date'];
with
$this->loop[$key]['text_after'] .= $this->loop[$key]['date']; $this->loop[$key]['content'] .= '<div class="read-more-link"><a href="'.get_permalink($id).'" class="more-link">'.__('Read more','avia_framework').'<span class="more-link-arrow"> →</span></a></div>';

PeterFebruary 5, 2014 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Portfolio categories translations (WPML) – not working #219941Hi!
I can’t reproduce the issue on your website: http://www.screenr.com/6w7N – the categories seem to be translated when I switch the language. Try to deactivate all third party plugins (except WPML of course) and clear your browser cache including the cookies. Also please do not translate a page in another tab because WPML uses cookies and if you open the translated entry in another tab the cookie data may change and this can affect all other tabs/windows too.
Regards,
PeterHi!
It seems like you solved the issue. I tested two entries:
http://66.147.244.98/~flavorye/portfolio-item/profundity/
http://66.147.244.98/~flavorye/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/and both work for me.
Regards,
PeterHey!
No you just need to assign the menu to the theme location (other tab).

PeterFebruary 5, 2014 at 10:57 am in reply to: Enfold main page must display woo commerce products #219876Hi!
Ah, ok. Your first question was a bit confusing because you talked about the “shopping cart” which is not the shop page. If you want to set the shop page as front page go to Enfold > Theme Options and select the “Shop” page as front page. If the shop doesn’t show up on the front page go to Settings > Reading and tick “Static front page” and select the shop page from the dropdown.
Cheers!
PeterHi!
You can ignore the “theme specific plugins” – they won’t be affected by the child theme.
Anything else I should watch out for??
Yes,1) Import the parent theme settings after you switched to the child theme (Enfold > Theme Options).
2) You must configure the menu location again (Appearance > Menus) because WordPress saves it with the theme name and the child theme has a different name.Regards,
PeterHey Spiv!
Yes, but this change would require a time intensive theme code customization (change of css code, javascript animation, etc.). I recommend to add a cart link to the menu which directly links to the cart page.
Cheers!
PeterHey!
Actually 2.4.5 is already available since several weeks. The 2.5 update should be ready soon.
