    Hello!

    No, it isn’t. The two would need to be separate post types to get different slug names like that. You could *maybe* do that with custom re-write rules in your htaccess file but its beyond what we could assist with through support.

    in reply to: upload image http error #163173

    Hello!

    The .htaccess file will only be accessible from either your hosting panel’s file manager or via FTP. The http error is unfortunately somewhat of a hard to find, hard to fix issue and the above is only one step in a potentially long chain of trying to find an error.

    If you aren’t sure how or where to add this talk to your hosting provider and explain the issue to them and what you’d like to do. They should be able to assist you.

    Cheers!

    in reply to: Custom Horizontal ruler? #163160

    Hey Michael!

    Correct. The font wouldn’t work as a background image but you could use it with the before or after pseudo class.

    Hi webWahine!

    We’ll need to see the site live and inspect what you have now in an example. You can use http://goo.gl to hide your URL if you need to.

    in reply to: Accordion and tabs not showing in ajax portfolio #163146

    Hi saquasar,

    You can hide the url of the site using http://goo.gl .

    If you are using the Ajax portfolio make sure you are putting your content into the meta box *under* the regular visual editor/advanced layout editor . The regular advanced layout editor is only for the single portfolio page.

    in reply to: New website with Front page design with 2/3 slider #163142

    Hi dhruvcasper,

    The LayerSlider is not able to be contained inside column elements. It must, and will always be, a full width element in a layout.

    There isn’t anything we can do at the moment to change that unfortunately.

    Devin

    in reply to: preview image height in Ajax portfolio #163140

    Hi Matt,

    You can use this plugin to change the default Gallery size to use a square image ratio (710×710):
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
    Or change this line in your functions.php file to do the same:
    $avia_config['imgSize']['gallery'] = array('width'=>710, 'height'=>575 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)

    After changing the size you will need to regenerate your thumbnails with the same plugin above.

    Hi oakfurniturehub,

    You can set your home page from the main theme options.

    For a general how-to on using the theme take a look at this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356

    If you have any other questions just start a new topic in the Enfold forums and we’ll address your questions/issues there.

    in reply to: Layer Slider Gone Haywire #163133

    Hi joelichty,

    What changes if any have you done in the child theme? There is something off about the source of the main site but I’m not sure whats causing it. So just getting a bit more information about the installation, the active plugin and what if any changes have been made should help.

    in reply to: Portfolio Items permalink and breadcrumbs #163128

    Hi Alison,

    ChrisXXX is somewhat right. What you would need to do is re-do the custom post type and its taxonomy to use yours instead. You may have an easier time of just creating and using your own custom post type with the structure you want instead.

    in reply to: ENFOLD: Youtube Link Lightbox Issue #163084

    Hi Seth,

    You can add noLightbox to your links to prevent the script from grabbing on to them. Eg:
    <a class="noLightbox" href="http://www.youtube.com/">Youtube</a>

    Devin

    in reply to: Product category image size #163082

    Hi mariorho,

    The category thumb is a pre-set image thumbnail size. So when you upload it, the image gets processed by WordPress which then builds thumbnails based on the theme and WooCommerce.

    So for that image and area its using an image setting which is cropping it at 430×360. I would suggest using this plugin to look at your image sizes and try to find where that is coming from: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

    I don’t see it as any of the default sizes from the theme so I’m not sure what has been changed.

    Devin

    in reply to: Enfold – Progress Bar #163079

    What about the settings on the progress bar itself? Can you create a temporary admin account for me so I can take a look live.

    You can send the information to my email at DevinVinson (at) gmail.com. Make sure to include a link to this topic so that my spam filter doesn’t grab it :)

    in reply to: Styles tab not working child theme. #163078

    Hi Torlock,

    You don’t need to copy over the css folder since you aren’t registering those files in the child theme.

    Go to your uploads folder and look for the avia folder that theme has created. Make sure its chmod settings are at least 755 and the files inside of it as well (should be enfold.css).

    That is the file the theme writes to when you modify the settings in the style tab.

    Regards,

    Devin

    in reply to: enfold.css file #163077

    Any changes to the style options in the theme options and then saving will let the theme re-format that page. Just note that any changes you make to it get lost when the theme re-writes it on saving.

    in reply to: color section #163069

    You just need to cancel out the min-height declartion the theme has:

    #awesome-section {
    height: 50px;
    background: #cc3366;
    border: 1px solid blue;
    min-height: 50px;
    }

    Hi Michael,

    No, not at the moment but I’ll add it to the feature request list.

    in reply to: IS LOADING MUCH TO LONG … badperformance# #163011

    Hi Liminalty,

    The version of the theme you are using is quite old at this point. There have been some performance improvement with updates as well as a lot of bug fixes. So that is the first step I would suggest.

    The second is to just minify your scripts using http://wordpress.org/plugins/bwp-minify/ . Kriesi uses this on the theme demo and even with it being bloated showing all the features and functionality it runs quite quickly.

    On my end however, I’m not seeing any performance issue with the site.

    Devin

    in reply to: CSS Serious Issue with modal #163005

    Hi Basile,

    The z-index’s are all correct and it doesn’t look like there is actually any conflict from the theme.

    I would suggest first trying to disable other plugins besides the download manager and see if there is some other conflict there first.

    Regards,

    Devin

    in reply to: color section #162996

    Hi alkross,

    We would need to see the color section on your page live to inspect the css and see whats going on. My guess is there is some margin/padding keeping the size to a specific size but I can’t say for sure without inspecting it.

    You can use http://goo.gl/ to hide the url.

    Regards,

    Devin

    I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi and close it for now. He is the only one who can test on iPhones and is actively working on it but this way he’ll have the site available and the responses don’t dogpile with any side issues.

    in reply to: Enfold. Easy Slider forcing images to a larger size #162990

    The size of the image is the size that is used in the output but it isn’t a static image size. You may want a larger size so that the images are retina ready or because you want a specific custom size. The option is there for flexibility but the theme still needs to adjust it so it stays responsive.

    in reply to: ENFOLD: Icon Problems with Entypo icon font in IE8 (and below) #162984

    Hi Seth,

    The icons do actually work as far as I know in IE8. Anything below that isn’t supported but myself and the other support crew have tested the theme in IE8 and the icons have worked in native IE8.

    Devin

    in reply to: I'm having a problem after the update. #162982

    The images that you see in the “ajax” view are not those you add to the content of the individual Portfolio item. Those images are entirely controlled by the second meta box *under* the regular advanced layout editor area.

    So you where you see this area:

    in reply to: LayerSlider Unresponsive #162980

    Hi ynmedia,

    Just to be clear, you mean the LayerSlider folder inside the theme files and not the separate LayerSlider plugin correct? The LayerSlider plugin shouldn’t be installed in addition to the one that comes bundled with the theme.

    in reply to: Dummy Data not importing #162972

    Hi haines1,

    Disable any plugins or dropins if you have any active as a first step. Next, what version of the theme and WordPress are you using as well as browser+OS?
